been using your videos to study for my NCLEX after failing the first time. Thank you for these! Only been day two of studying but Im feeling so much more confident in my content!
I have a question for 28:10. Why cannot I pick the option of preparing the sterile field and supplies before draping pt with sterile square? doesn't the sterile supplies contain the sterile squares? In practical scenario, we do that so shouldn't preparing sterile field come before draping the pt with sterile square?
How can you touch the sterile drape without putting on the sterile gloves first which to me would be preparing the sterile field before draping them with the sterile drape?
Hey guys, I am very happy to be a RN after my 4th attempt last Wednesday. I passed the Nclex RN with 85 questions. I am here to introduce you, Dr. Luther he is the solution to my success. After failing 3 times, I was able to pass my exams because of his new generation qbank and tactics.
Hi thanks for these videos! I have a question - we no longer teach inflating the foley balloon ahead of insertion. Maybe this is still standard practice though?

Dr. Sharron can you please make maternity videos and newborns testing strategies on SATA, priority/ first also on my first attempt on nclex i got questions about teaching first and it was like patients that chronic dieases such as copd and diabetes type 1 with a diabetic ulcer and the other two were newly diagnose patients such as newly dx with cancer and wanting pallative care and another newly dx with colits and i dont know what. I crossed off chronic pts because i was like well they are chronic meaning they should already have had teaching ? but i missed those questions if you can make teaching questions to please
On the last question, i was stuck between (2) & (4). I went with 4. (2) yes is abnormal since 8hrs to NOT void is too long but opioid morphine slows done Gi tract so i thought that was expected. (4) I went with b/c i thought this "non-infectious" situation became INfectious since "burning sensation" which is a new change of condition? I didnt think or consider that "noninfectious urethritis" as inflammation

exactly what I was thinking, that confused me also
The sterile drape is in top and to access the sterile gloves u need to remove it first
This confused me too.
had the same question
You touch only the outer edges of the drape. Just like when opening the package of the sterile gloves
Thanks Dr. God blessed u with even more strenth

That order doesn’t add up how can you drape a sterile drape over the pt and then open sterile packages?
Yes.how?
I too disagree
The drape is on top of the gloves you can touch 1 inch around the edges of the drape! It's non sterile
So glad found u. Thank u 🙏🏾
Thanks Dr.Sharon❤
