What about wolf and Kreger
There was no dialogue at all for the final 8 minutes. And yet it still said so much.
Omg true
that made this episode so emotional and powerful. The final main dialogue was between Rex and Ahsoka when she takes his helmet off. What a scene! I will always remember that.
Karen Catizone omg I didn’t even notice that. Wow

@Da Ol yes but rebels wasnt suppose to be a movie it was just a series final while this was supposed to be a movie
It just sucks that it was a finale for an 8 episode season (I don't count the middle arc... It had too much of a Kathleen K. feel)
But this is going to be rewatched so many times
The droids getting killed almost upset me as much as Jesse's grave at the end.
@Da Ol You monster xD
R7 was her Droid for a lot of the clone wars... I am do sad they killed them all tho.
Couldn't one of them survive tho, Filoni??? 😭
Also, @Da Ol... You monster
@Da Ol R7 was in the ryloth campaign and was seen during the Umbara arc... Looking it up, I remember it a lot more vividly for it only having an appearance in so few episodes, but I'm pretty sure she had a similar looking Droid when she was piloting a Starfighter throughout the series as well. Either way, she knew the Droid for at least a year or so over the course of the war...
Da Ol I kinda did as well. It was due to how it was done. Wasn’t expecting it, but it was when the Droid scream that made me chuckle.

Disney: Starkiller is not canon
Dave Filoni and Sam Witwer: Alright then, no problem we got this.
J Kay if only..
CjTz 21 Galen marek wasn’t that OP in the comic or novel version of TFU. He was only OP because it was a video game
@@jebalitabb8228 Comic, novel, video game, none of them were canon anyway, not even in Legends. George Lucas doesn't even acknowledge it existence.
@CjTz 21 I completely agree. Starkiller was made WAY too OP. He didn't mesh with the rest of the Star Wars mythos very well. I mean, really. He overpowered Darth Vader? Yeah, I don't think so. It just didn't work, at least for me. Just from a stand alone game perspective I can see the appeal of his character but it didn't fit in Star Wars law or the history line.
feyzal92 You might wanna edit your comment 🤣 George was a fan of KOTOR enough to where he wanted to put Darth Revan in TCW, he’s still in the deleted scene. He’s also acknowledged TFU while talking to Sam Witwer during a clone wars panel in the past since he voiced both starkiller and maul. He also considered the original 2003 Clone wars canon and helped advice the creation of it, and when it was retconned he took parts of it that he liked and added it to TCW. I can keep listening examples, your opinion is wrong 🤷🏼♀️
The final character we see in Rebels is Ahsoka. The final character we see in The Clone Wars is Vader.
It's like poetry. It rhymes.
Karen Catizone well it’s Sabine in rebels
What could be the meaning?.
@@condeaarondarkusexcubitor3155 Dark and Light?
Karen Catizone the dark side took over in tcw when the light almost won. In Rebels the light side took over in really dark times. I think it resembles some kind of balance in the force.
Taking out the hyperdrive wasn't just Maul being Maul. There's a motive there as he absolutely does not want; in any way shape or form; to go to Coruscant. Stopping that process is his sole motivation at this point.
Yup, if somehow ahsoka and rex ended up captured or dead, maul would been absolutely fucked

@@tbaggins5349 crimson dawn arc? He was captured during the clone wars only I think. Son of dathomir takes place before the siege of mandalore
Being able to see Anakin's eyes when he's in Vader gear is such a heavy thing to see. In Revenge of the Sith, you see, in a limited amount of time, Anakin take the leap to the Dark Side. In The Clone Wars, you see him as a confident, skilled general/hero in the Clone Wars slowly show hints of where his future is heading towards. In Star Wars material, there's always been this sorta separation of Dath Vader and Anakin Skywalker. You normally separate the two as completely different entities. But seeing his eyes in the last shot reminds you that the infamous Darth Vader is literally the same charming, jedi hero we saw just like 3 episodes ago. It almost makes you want to believe it's not the same guy, which really aids the concept in Rebels when Ahsoka doesn't want to believe her master could turn into such a horrible individual. The show really sold, as a viewer, the disbelief you feel watching Anakin become Darth Vader.
Read Vader comics, it gets better.

@@Cloofinder Cuz Obi Wan was protecting Luke,
For those that may have misunderstood, Ashoka left her "Jedi" saber as a representation of her life as a jedi truly dying. She was finally able to put her clone wars life to rest. As stated in the video Vader went looking for her and after searching for awhile he found what looked to be her death site. Which was the moment Anakin truly died, Vader took over completely after this which is why he wasn't super surprised when he heard she lived during rebels. Although he wanted to turn her he was Vader that entire time. Love you Clone Wars you will forever be the best show.

Christopher Quintanar it was so sad, that’s when I was tearing up
Vader taking the saber is what fills in the reason for him saying in rebels “The Apprentice Lives” so them doing that at the end of this episode fit so well with him thinking she died.
But the helmets have all been staked by someone, and her lightsaber is right in front of it. It kind of confirms she survived, which makes me think this happened at some point during Rebels.
@@jimmybob5541 In the Ahsoka novel, it's revealed that they made a fake grave for Rex and Ahsoka left her lightsabers to make it look like they had both died.
@@dragonsword8129 Ok that would make sense. So then this happens before he discovers she's alive
@@jimmybob5541 I think so. But, as the reactors pointed out, that Imperial shuttle was developed 15 years after Ep. III (which is around the time Rebels takes place). So even if it's before Vader sensed Ahsoka on The Ghost, it's pretty close.
Then again, Jedi: Fallen Order (taking place 5 years after Ep. III) has the chicken walkers from the movies even though, as Sam Witwer pointed out in his playthrough, they should look like the ones in Rebels at that point. So who knows?
@@dragonsword8129 Yeah I guess we'll have to wait until someone tells us the official time period cause it could be anywhere lol

They are going to cut them together as a movie, that’s why there’s no intro at the beginning. People used to say rebels had a better art style, but after seeing those stormtroopers and Vaders design here? Definitely not.
Rebels did have a better art style than Clone Wars before S7. The reason why this looks so much better now is because they have better technology and literally had years to fine tune the last season.
star wars rebels texture is too disney...too clean...less details...you can even see on the dialogue and character design how disney is =(
Clone Wars arts proportions were 80% of the time better. But the 20% of the time when Rebels got the designs better, they nailed them, perfected them; Palpatine for example. Tarkin and Yoda look pretty laughable in Rebels though.
Rebels has a better design for Clones.
Clone Wars has a better design for Stormtroopers.
Ironic
@@kungolaf4499 I thought tarkin looked fine. Also mon mothma actually looks like a person in rebels instead of a fish like in TCW
Clone Wars, Rebels, Mandalorian.
Honestly, the star wars T.V. shows are my favorite part of the star wars franchise.
And all 3 of them are by Dave Filoni. He is the chosen one.
I love how you say “That’s the Clone Wars, man”. It makes me think of when Obi Wan first referenced the Clone Wars back in the late 70s in Episode 4. Every kid’s mind must have gone crazy with ideas of how cool the clone wars were. Everyone with their own idea of what happened. And here we are. What were the Clone Wars? A family of brothers, who were nothing but good soldiers. They fought along side the most wisest people, who taught them that they weren’t just a number but were all unique and special. Then they were stripped away of it all and were forced to kill their only friends. Their achievements erased, sacrifices forgotten, and the republic the fought for gone. They all had names once, now they are buried in unmarked graves, left to the snow. That was the Clone Wars, man.
That's heavy
Damn, this episode hurts me so much. Especially the memorial scene and the final shot. Also, remember how I mentioned in one of your previous reactions that the relationship between the Jedi and the clones was very similar to that of the Primarchs and the Space Marines in Warhammer 40k? Well, this episode definitely shows it: Ahsoka cared for her troopers until the end. How hard must it have been to bury men that she may have known before leaving, and that were wearing her markings as a show of loyalty? No wonder she seems so tired in the Rebels finale, she's been through so much.
Also, before Ahsoka the White, there was Ahsoka the Grey. Filoni still keeping the symbolism I see.
It reaaally depends about which primarch you're talking about, cause Lion, Fulgrim and Angron for exemple are not well known for caring about their sons...
@@ArthurV7734 well, neither was Pong Krell regarding the clones. Though I was thinking more of the nicest Primarchs, or those that indeed cared for their sons: Vulkan, Sanguinius, Corvus Corax (to an extent, unless I'm wrong the Drop Site Massacre and the Raptor project broke him), and Magnus the Red. Jaghatai Khan too, he was heartbroken when one of his friends sacrificed himself so he could reach Terra.
Pierre Braud great comment! Amazing how Filoni fit it all together, speechless.
This was just emotional torture for me. Rex crying, the droids dying (unintentional rhyme) which reminded me of the D-Squad arc where that one droid died which broke me. I don't think I've ever seen a better piece of Star Wars media ever. I can't believe I put off watching TCW until just around the middle of this year.
Excellent use of the 'Sword and Shield Formation' Rex mentioned in Rebels here when Snips and Rex exit the medbay
Vader took her saber because at this point in time, he believed Ahsoka had died.
At least until Rebels.
*Rex crying under his helmet*
Tear ducts: Initiate emergency release system.
I think it's ironic when Anakin said ''You never would of made it as Obi Wan's Padawan, but you might make it as mine.'' And she did make it, through Order 66 and all the way through the dark times, surviving the Empire. She's Anakin's Padawan that's why. If Vader wasn't so enveloped in the Dark Side and hadn't forgotten Anakin Skywalker, he'd realize Anakin Skywalker wasn't so weak after all. She survived where many did not.
And so the Clone Wars ends...Not with a bang, but whimper as we see the clones fall with the Republic. Damn.
I love the fact you saw Ahsoka's spirit owl flying over the wreckage, nice little nod there to Rebels.
If anakin could remember anything from Mortis he might have understood that reference.
Kevin Hansen seeing that owl, perfect!
When Ashoka took Rex helmet off & he'd got tears running down his face.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.
My question is... did Ashoka go for the kill shot on Maul in the hangar? I rewatched it frame by frame, and it seems like she might have swung for the neck as she gets force pushed away. Is it just me or is there some fear in his eyes for a second because of that?
Chance Crum I think she did to be honest but it was purely because she needed to save herself and Rex
I think it totally caught Maul off guard! First time I heard him scream I thought he had gotten his throat cut!
Xer0cool yeah his scream was reminiscent of the “keeenoooobiiii” scream in Rebels
He even grabbed his neck after that!
he's still a danger to the galaxy wouldn't suprise me. she did intent for him to be just a diversion
Almost every shot from the last four episodes was amazing, the composition, the lighting, the detail. And then the music! Particularly in the last two episodes. It's just spectacular, like it's Star Wars, but it also has this dark synthwave vibe.... It's incredible.
The helmet of Jesse with the republic symbol on it...Great symbolism of the death of the republic...
Vader picking up Ahsoka's saber, looking at her bird companion and his reflection fading on the visor!!
Mirrors the epic and grim fate of Vader
I love that line you said man: "That's the clone wars" cause it really is. All those lives created just to die in the end. God damnit Star Wars...
I physically couldn’t ask for anymore... it was quite literally perfect.
6:25 "It's a good thing we were wearing helmets. Because none of us could bear to look her in the eyes". I know it has a different meaning here, but that's all I could think of.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"
Bendu hit the nail on the head; we knew Ahsoka made it, we knew Rex made it, we knew Maul made it. We just didn't know HOW. And it's the HOW that knocked our socks off.

We need a Darth Maul Crimson Dawn show/novels/comics, anything really.
Agreed
It wasn’t until this season that I realized that Rex’s helmet is his phase 1 helmet with the phase 2 “mouth piece?” Welded onto it.
“He’s playing capital supreamecy” lol
Ah, good to see Kyle here backing up my original thoughts on the final scene here. A lot were thinking it was Vader saying goodbye and all that bollocks; I never thought that, I thought he was hunting her after sensing her presence in Rebels; and Morai basically confirming she was alive and well.
The final clip with Vader picking up Ahsoka's lightsaber is one of the few times a show, let alone a cartoon made me cry
I low key wanted Ahsoka to give Rex a kiss on the cheek or a hug or something when she took his helmet off. Not even for romance just because he needs it. Poor guys been through so much.
Am I the only one feeling like I'm looking at a young Lieutenant Dan?
Holy christ the resemblance.
Maybe that’s why Bendu loves Maul. They have that no-legs connection
These guys and Blindwave quickly became my favorite Star Wars reaction/info channels. Kyle's knowledge and able to figure out roughly where these are at, based on the Lambda shuttle was awesome to hear.
Also, totally agree about the droids.
Those droids were like the good doggies in a movie. You don't kill the dogs!
When I thought how it is over I was overwhelmed by sadness like I was saying bye to a loved one
"Love that droid"
Oh no...
Anybody gonna talk about that Gimli impression that was outstanding
"Thats the clones wars man.." true fucking words. This series was the best thing that had happened in tv star wars, starting out as a semi cheesy kids show, to one of the most emotion driven shows I've seen to date. What a time to be a star wars fan man.
I enjoyed your reaction to this episode. Here is something to think about. In Ep5 of the Ahsoka series, during Ahsoka's World Between Worlds vision at the Siege of Mandalore, Anakin tells Ahsoka "Within you will be all the knowledge I possess". Taking this into account, Ahsoka knew the force power of psychometry, an ability taught to her by Anakin. Now, when Vader finds Ahsoka's saber at the crash site of the Tribunal, he would no doubt have been able to see everything that happened there in vivid detail. He knew that she survived, and that she had left the saber for him to find as a symbol of her turning the page and leaving the past behind. Such a gut wrenching and emotional episode. I miss Clone Wars; the finale was epic.
I legit thought I could be able to rewatch the reactions but here I am fake laughing to hide my crying. Legit everything in SW and the last two episodes of Season 7 is what finally broke my soul and forced me into a SW hiatus.
"You're a good soldier Rex"
Good soldiers follow orders
re: the droids, they did have to kill characters you cared about (the cost of war, tragedy), and couldn't kill any of the mains in the episode because they all live through to Rebels. I thought it was a good balance, and while I didn't personally get that upset, I think that every reaction video I've seen has had people upset at the droid deaths, which is good. It's also a nice thematic capper to the fact that Ahsoka had no one else to turn to besides droids once the clones turned on her (itself ironic given the war is against a droid army); why wouldn't the clones, who have been fighting droids this whole war, hesitate to kill these new traitors? I liked it.
These last few episodes I felt way more than the movies, the music, scenery everything was perfect. The saddest thing was Ahsoka didnt have her last words with Anakin, Obi and Yoda. Damn what a great show
Kyle: "Yo R7's got this check it out."
Clone Trooper: "So I started blasting."
This was fresh Vader still trying to figure his shit out. The search party didn't look like it was ordered by the emperor, it felt like a personal mission. Anakin was looking for her (hope), something to pull him back. But since this was before the Twilight of the apprentice, he thought her dead and was hardened in his decision. That is why he was suprised in rebels to see that she was still alive, but at that point, there was no going back for him. Here, he could still go back, but in Twilight, he was too far gone.
11:50 she does in her book before rebels. later story wise when she met organa if i remember right he had kyber crystals for safekeeping. he gave them to ashoka and with that she made new ones. later she helps him on getting info to rebels about empire plans with of course codename fulcrum.

Man I'm so glad I found your chanel . Youre like a brother from another mother. I loved jedi Academy it was a big part of my childhood . I'm a star wars fan just like you.
I love how they symbolized the end of the show with that last shot. An old, worn-out, broken clone helmet. Clones are a thing from the past. Clone wars is a thing from the past. It's all over, the present is now Vador and the Empire.
Nice reaction as always. You guys really find the right dose of excitement so it doesn't seem overreacted but the passion still comes across.
Kyle Katarn & Bendu- here’s a ‘connect the dots’ for you: Cheep *is* Chopper. The droid was pulled from a Y wing that crashed at the Syndula compound at the end of the clone wars; Cheep was rebuilt by Hera into Chopper; Rex flew the Y wing & crashed it at Cham Syndula’s place, knowing that Cham (or his wife) would help him get off world. Likely Rex had to abandon Cheep there, wherea very young Hera decided to try to fix him up- Cheep’s memory was too far damaged so he only has the most basic of recollections, but during Rebels, Chopper seems to be less temperamental with Rex (Rex was the only one you never see Chopper give attitude to-think about it). It all fits, pretty neatly & ‘straight line’ logical deduction
9:05 Rex looking down like "Huh. Im gonna die."
That ending was the best ending to a show, any shows animated or not, period. And just watching your reactions I was like “Yeah man, I know it was enough to make a grown man cry.” Which I did, it represented so much, so much that we never got in the sequel trilogy. It makes Anakin’s turn to the darkside with much more weight. That shot of Vader looking up at the sky and them showing you his eye, you can see a little bit of him in there, but I guess as he turns and walks away that symbolizes that he’s back to being Vader again and Anakin won’t be seen again until ROTJ.
The zoom on your face when you said I love r7 absolutely killed me
The final scene with Vader probably occurred after new Hope and before Empire strikes back when Vader was sending droids to locate his son.
Soooo... I don't want it to end yet...
