It’s an interior design video and not a video about fashion and clothes, therefore I was surprised to see the video on Luke’s channel. I get where you’re coming from with the potpourri bar tho, that was a bit weird😅
That’s because Jenna Lyons has an incredible knowledge and appreciation of fashion and style. That’s the difference between a true designer/creative vs an influencer who’s famous from a reality dating show.
I remember how she gave a “speech” about working hard and that we all have the same hours in the day as Beyoncé 😂 she gave strong Kim K “get off your a** and work” vibes 😬 another pretty privileged individual with no personality (and her closet clearly reflects that 😂). Love the videos ❤
to be fair as someone who does watch her channel i believe this closet tour video was more so about her new home and showing her subscribers what she did with the renovations, and how she organised everything rather than about her fashion, ofcourse since it is a closet tour she does show some of what she wears but thats not what the video was necessarily intentioned for, it was intentioned to show her renovations. her subscribers were excited to see what she was doing with the house and she made videos every now and again, along the process of the home renovations, with an update.
Yeah definitely, although it would have been nice to see her pull out some pieces she’s excited about, this was definitely intended as a room tour / house renovation progress update rather than a walkthrough of her actual clothing
Yep this is it, this video is another in a long line of British influencers showing off their home renovations - even Victoria, whose whole personality and brand is ~~~~high fashion, kept her wardrobe tour in her current place very “renovation” focused.
It's a testament to your charisma, Luke, that you can be so entertaining, given such boring source material. That was pretty brutal. Does she even like fashion?
its insane to say how she doesn't want too many shoes, and she only has really one pair per color, in front of like three white strappy heels, all of which look identical.
i would love to see an amber scholl closet tour. I feel like she actually highlights and respects the clothing and thshoes while being smart about what she buys
Dear Nick-I am so sorry you spent this time wanting to claw your eyes out. I totally concur and so thankful for the fast forward option. You were brill and funny as usual. Poor ol' Molly needs to up her game...
I'll give her credit for being organized but that's it. I've always liked seeing people's closets & jewelry collections. They don't have to be fancy. I don't even like Jeffery Star but his closet tour was at least interesting & he actually showed items & said why he loved them so much. I think Molly had a closet made so she could load it up with the factory items she's linked to & a few nice things we could actually see. I just watched this so your video got a view credit.
Now I feel great about my own "middle class closet" (think Amazon) *but* I have a handful of luxury/designer items that are hand picked to be *special!* She seems to not put much thought into what she invests in for her closet. Thanks for the video!
The funniest thing just happened! I’m watching the video with my dog Fury setting next to me he kept switching attention from Molly at the left to Luke’s right window which by itself was cutest thing but then i noticed when he looked at molly while she was speaking he kept yawning but when Luke started talking he started wagging his tail and acting excited he definitely knows what’s up! I’ve never seen him both bored and excited at the same time! Lmao
Just to give a bit of context, she's currently in the process of decorating her new home, she's got an entire instagram page dedicated to providing her followers with the interior design progress, so her closet tour was from an interior design perspective. It wasn't exactly about clothes but rather the design and functunality of the space, I feel like people missed that point.😅
@@donnapug I hear you, I was just providing a bit of context. What I'm saying is that wasn't the purpose of her video specifically, lol. I know closet tours are usually about clothes, but this one wasn't intended to be about clothes.

@@aaronkent2317 Maybe I shouldn't have used the word architecture, maybe organization. But either way, her closet tour was helpful to the audience it was intended - which are people following her home updates. But I understand people's frustrations.
It looks like a closet full of stuff that she has never ever used, and just purchased out of pure consumerism. Why buy 10+ sportswear sets if you don't work out?
This woman BAFFLES me, she says she doesn’t want to invest in handbags and shoes, but is fine with WASTING tons of money on buy clothing she just donated?? And what she kept is just a shit ton of the same thing over and over!
To be honest, I actually like how she organized everything; it doesn't look cluttered, she color coordinated everything, it looks easy on the eyes. It's definitely not my style, but I guess she's very happy with her closet
but do you think it's this organized normally? unless her housekeeper always tidies up after she actually used clothes and items, I doubt it'd look like that.
Nothing wrong with the closet and it’s layout, but I think most are miffed because she doesn’t really seem to get fashion. Doesn’t seem to really love it and we really didn’t see fashion from her
It’s organized nicely but usually in a closet tour people are interested in both how it’s organized and the content inside. Especially double when you work in fashion

This screams, "i hired a stylist to organize and stock my closet with the least amt of effort to curate true fashion except for a couple accessories and fill in the spaces with books and knickknacks" (yes its a horrible run-on sentence but its Molly...)
For anyone that actually watches her content, this closet tour was not made for the clothes and shoes, but is part of her house design content. She wanted to show how she designed and organised the closet. It was not made for this channel to be reviewed. I am a big fan of this channel and was surprised to see her video on here because it was not made for fashion critics but interior design.
I can tell when someone doesn’t have personal taste or interest in fashion when they spend far too long talking about simple things…here are the t-shirts, here are my sports bra, my relaxing leggings, my gym leggings…like no one cares about that stuff show us what makes your clothes you. Even if your clothes are minimalist or something similar you should still be able to talk about why you might be drawn to such thing or speak about some of them.
I’m glad you covered her tour and called her out on her over consumption. After her comment about “everyone has the same 24hrs days, so how hard is it to make money” blah blah- basically the same comment as Kim K said, I knew she was not in touch with the real world.
I am always struck by how much these influencer/celebrity “closets” are actually laid out like boutiques. Items are not stored for preservation and access, they are displayed for clout. Not practical, not sensible, not relatable.

to be fair as someone who does watch her channel i believe this closet tour video was more so about her new home and showing her subscribers what she did with the renovations, and how she organised everything rather than about her fashion, ofcourse since it is a closet tour she does show some of what she wears but thats not what the video was necessarily intentioned for, it was intentioned to show her renovations. her subscribers were excited to see what she was doing with the house and she made videos every now and again, along the process of the home renovations, with an update.
This comment should be on top honestly
Yeah definitely, although it would have been nice to see her pull out some pieces she’s excited about, this was definitely intended as a room tour / house renovation progress update rather than a walkthrough of her actual clothing
Yep this is it, this video is another in a long line of British influencers showing off their home renovations - even Victoria, whose whole personality and brand is ~~~~high fashion, kept her wardrobe tour in her current place very “renovation” focused.
“Update, didn’t know she got robbed” took me out 💀
We appreciate your dedication and hard work. We hope to see more of your critiques somehow.
Thank you! Will do!!!!!
It's a testament to your charisma, Luke, that you can be so entertaining, given such boring source material. That was pretty brutal. Does she even like fashion?
Man, if only any of us who actually appreciate art and fashion had the means to do a real closet tour. Sigh.
its insane to say how she doesn't want too many shoes, and she only has really one pair per color, in front of like three white strappy heels, all of which look identical.
Thank you for your sacrifice reviewing this, Luke! I believe this is the most boring closet tour you've ever witnessed...
that closet looks like a showroom that was stocked to be more relatable. it looks like a set
definitely doesn't look like a place you use everyday to get your clothes. but then this was a video she herself made, of course it's all staged.
Me about to rewatch Huda Beautys wardrobe tour review to feel SOMEONES passion about fashion
i would love to see an amber scholl closet tour. I feel like she actually highlights and respects the clothing and thshoes while being smart about what she buys
THIS!!!!
this screams "i had a professional stylist and organizer come in and construct my closet within a few weeks of filming"
depressing dream closet honestly, but Luke's descent into madness was funny 😆
Dear Nick-I am so sorry you spent this time wanting to claw your eyes out. I totally concur and so thankful for the fast forward option. You were brill and funny as usual. Poor ol' Molly needs to up her game...
Girl who is NICK?
Luke Luke Luke. So sorry.
Luke LOVE your shirt! It was the best thing, clothing wise, in the entire video.
Now I feel great about my own "middle class closet" (think Amazon) *but* I have a handful of luxury/designer items that are hand picked to be *special!*
She seems to not put much thought into what she invests in for her closet.
Thanks for the video!
Have to admit I’m becoming more interested in finding clothes off Amazon, worried about quality. Do you have any tips?
@@emilia123zz I keep trying to reply and it keeps disappearing
The funniest thing just happened! I’m watching the video with my dog Fury setting next to me he kept switching attention from Molly at the left to Luke’s right window which by itself was cutest thing but then i noticed when he looked at molly while she was speaking he kept yawning but when Luke started talking he started wagging his tail and acting excited he definitely knows what’s up! I’ve never seen him both bored and excited at the same time! Lmao
I feel like the resentment during this video is so strong. You're just so done so early in, its magnificent.
Bright sneakers like tropical fish are lovely to stare at in queues or public transport!
this was painful, ty luke for making it bearable
Just to give a bit of context, she's currently in the process of decorating her new home, she's got an entire instagram page dedicated to providing her followers with the interior design progress, so her closet tour was from an interior design perspective. It wasn't exactly about clothes but rather the design and functunality of the space, I feel like people missed that point.😅
It’s a closet tour, we want to see clothes. Pull them out, tell us who they’re by, when you got them etc
@@donnapug I hear you, I was just providing a bit of context. What I'm saying is that wasn't the purpose of her video specifically, lol. I know closet tours are usually about clothes, but this one wasn't intended to be about clothes.
@@teekay2127she pointed out where every single type of clothing was. I get that’s layout but still not about the architecture. It really was the most pointless video of ever seen
Your comment made sense because she spoke about the walls and window etc so now I’m like yeah is this even about clothes? so thanks for the context! She could have at least showed some pieces since they’re in the video but hey
@@aaronkent2317 Maybe I shouldn't have used the word architecture, maybe organization. But either way, her closet tour was helpful to the audience it was intended - which are people following her home updates. But I understand people's frustrations.
I would love to see you react to Carla Rockmore’s closet! I love her eclectic vintage pieces
I love your closet reviews! And you, too!
i’ve never watched a closet tour and thought that i could do a better job with my plebe-ass wardrobe… but here we are 💀
I'm going to go binge your closet tour playlist. Every single one of those people gave way more than Molly
Thank you for calling out low quality clothes ending up in landfills. Jeans especially have a huge carbon footprint, 20 bags full is such a waste.
This reaction is why we love you, Luke!
@@benzaiten933 this or she has same severe OCD
@@benzaiten933not everyone has a messy closet all the time Ben, some of us like to be organized
Especially double when you work in fashion
something about absurdly rich people that just buy mountains of athleisure infuriates me
I don't even know what they would do with that many leggings and hoodies. I guess they are just filling up space.
I’ve been watching for years and I’ve never been so early! I love your videos, seeing a new one posted always makes me so happy and excited. Thanks for making them and doing what you do!
"... watched for years", could someone plz note the # of years this influencer has been creating content?
@@nancyadamson286I’ve been watching for at least 3 years, might be 4 at this point!
Edit: I just looked back in his videos and realized the first one I watched was posted 5 years ago. I still remember it because it’s what really got me interested in fashion for the first time.
Luke, did I really hear you call Skins a REALITY show????
This was abysmal, the most intriguing part of the video was @ 13:48 - “Update (?) got robbed.” I think you said Dhanush, what’s the tea?
Love you to bits RB
I love your blasé attitude toward boring "collections"! 💜🙋♀️ As always, you are so knowledgeable, where others ( with tons o cash) don’t.
I cleaned my house came back and she was still talking about her gym wears...
😂
😂
I'm British and couldn't care less about her, your critique, however,I live for lol
Yes, as closet tours go, I could give a better one even though my closet's color palette is mostly black. One thing I have learned from watching the HauteLeMode channel is respect the art, learn about the artist and explain your experiences with both. So thank you to Luke.
I only have black clothes, maybe a white shirt but that's it lmao. I love combining textures and styles etc in black! I find it beautiful and very fun although people always come up with the theory that if you wear black you're depressive or whatever
@@overdosedmiawallace same! I buy just black clothes, but not every black item I see. Gotta choose stuff that looks good on you and can see yourself wearing for a long time. This girl doesn’t seem to care about what she owns.
@@jnn1280 totally, also i'm broke as everyone else here in Argentina. So i really have to think and plan in advance whenever i want to buy ONE item😭 this girl's closet is unbeliavable to me
i enjoyed you and me being bored together while watching this closet tour
all these clothes and still can’t put together a single look 😭
💀
I feel like this was a closet organizing tour?
It gives H&M vibes
Loved this for sustainability reasons, calling things out!
I'm 63, and just LOVE Luke, and all his videos!
Luke, I’m ashamed to admit how much I loved laughing through your apparent pain at this. But if it will make you feel better I’ll say I had great fun watching you act like you would rather be at the dentist getting your teeth pulled for 19 minutes.
I'm pretty out of the loop so I hadn't heard of her or that she had done a closet tour, but I love your channel and I love your insight on this, thank you for sharing about how there's passion and cherishing and appreciating these objects and this history surrounding fashion, and then there's just blind consumption with no passion and no reflection
I’m expecting to see tons of sweatpants and tracksuit outfits for this one along with Chanel bags
“The walk in closet doesn’t feel claustrophobic” best line ever!!!
Consumerism at its worst. Oh my god she is only 23. This is just insane.
This screams, "i hired a stylist to organize and stock my closet with the least amt of effort to curate true fashion except for a couple accessories and fill in the spaces with books and knickknacks" (yes its a horrible run-on sentence but its Molly...)
Bright running shoes are for being more visible when running outside! Great for being more visible at night especially
She’s more interested in talking about the organization and decor of the closet rather than the contents of the closet.
She’s been robbed in the past this was about interior design and organizaton not to show her stuff off btw
her accent made me cry
I am not a Love Island girlie but I'm looking forward to this! Are you gonna do Hari Nef's?
You hit the nail on the head..she doesn’t value clothing.
Thank you
That explains a lot!
Yep this is exactly on point.
5:30 I feel like the neon or bright colored racing sneakers are a for tracking runners in low visibility, and so they don’t get hit on the road 😅😅
I was just about to rewatch your closet tour videos so this is great timing for me
