I saw an Titchmarsh one where he used a plank of wood and an old bread knife. He then cuts along the wood line with the knife to get a clean edge. Think the half moon is quicker and easier than that (he also had to be on his hands and knees). But if you have a big garden its not practical. Love the accent btw!
