I have been doing edges like this since seeing your video in spring. I love this edge and appreciate that you share your knowledge and changed my yard for the better. Thank you!
Nothing like those tight, crisp edges. Lawn is looking great and that nice dark rich green again the red mulch is perfect contrast. Those stripes too, and without a striping kit, unreal.
This is a nice intro video on how to edge. I’ve never done it before but want to learn and do it this year. I appreciate you showing the direction and how to hold the equipment. Great tips!
Good tips, one thing that makes it even easier when you flip the trimmer is a curved shaft model. You can get it done without, but it’s super easy if you have one.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes it’s just a matter of getting the best angle, the curved shaft makes it easier to get the trimmer head level with the edge, if you are taller it doesn’t matter as much though.
Perfect timing, New Zealand 🇳🇿 is approaching the end of winter and going into spring. I’ve used winter to buy my trimmer, get the sharp spade , get my string for perfect circles, and straight lines, and I’m about to feed the lawns, sow some seed, cut new edging, mulch with black coloured mulch, and all thanks to your videos this spring and summer, my lawns will be the best on the block 💥
Wow !!! what a great video. I really appreciate your advice and hope I can copy your skills. I’ve subscribed and can’t wait for more of your post. After 22 years living in the same house I finally sprung and had my front and back lawns redone. The best advice I can give is spend a little more and have sprinkles installed. They’re a game changer.
Great video on edging. Nice dude - I also have some videos on my channel on edging and what I call vertical edging, like what you were doing. Subscribed
That would be a good option for you, that is a tall fescue blend. Or you could go with Ryegrass because your summer temps are a little cooler up there.
A regular edger can work it. The blade is not circular but it spins in a circle while cutting. You can get them from any big box hardware/home improvement store. The string trimmer just works so well with needing to buy an extra piece of equipment.

Remember the cutting around the trees! Perfect circles.

Thanks man 🙏🏾! Yeah its really looking good this year, I can't complain. I feel like all my studying, research, and planning has paid off this year.

I think its personal preference and what is comfortable for the user. I have used both and I prefer the straight shaft.

Great job you have the voice to definitely be making videos or to be on the radio
Thanks, I am glad to hear that.

Yes! The perfect Tonic for my OCD😉
😂😂😂 I think all of us that love our lawns have a little bit of OCD when we get in the lawn.
Great stuff Cam. Nothing better than those tight, crispy natural edges ! Lawn is holding up nice too !! That cut looked amazing
I appreciate that Scott 🙏🏾! You know I love a crisp live edge
She's lookn good man! I had to do clean up on all my edges last nice.... That GA humidity ain't no joke!
Thank man! As you can see the humidity was high on this day because I was leaking 😂 and this was at like 730-8pm.
I like to use my Echo PAS 2620 Bed Edge Redefiner every spring, then like you turn trimmer upside down to maintain and get it extra crsipy like KFC.
I am looking into that purchase myself.
Good tips bro. I'm thinking of removing my stone and doing a live edge. Your videos are queued up for the work.
You know I've got you covered if you needs some info! We Workin' 💪🏾🌱!!!
Great video! I was either going to try plastic edging or natural edge. After watching you now I know how to maintain natural edge.
Its nothing like that clean natural edge...you can't beat it!

Nice!!! There are a number of ways to do this everyone has their own process. Thanks for watching 👍🏾!
@@ElevatedLawnscapes I would agree. It’s exactly what you do, I just gave it a name lol
what grass is good for upstate new york area? I saw your review on Newsome seeds, is that an option for me

Nice new trimmer
...is it a Stihl?
Its a Echo PAS-225
Equally good choice!
Very attractive and beautiful.
Thank you! I will take a crisp live edge any day over a hard border.
where can I get an edger with just a circular blade?
