Tufted bench for beginners

In this video we are making a tufted bench seat for beginners.
In one of our earlier films Two inspire built a nice corner bench with storage in wood for indoor use. The corner bench was well useful with a cool design, but it was not fully finished in the last video.

The bench had to be comfortable to sit in, in this video we show a Diy seat cushion for the bench.
Here we show in step by step how to build a nice padding for the bench pad without having to use a sewing machine. This is how you could make your very own DIY project and build a comfy bench cushion patio for a couch, bench, stool or similar.
The DIY seat cushion is an easy project that most people could make. In seven easy steps we show how to build it without too much equipment.
Step 1. Measure and drill holes for where the buttons will be fastened in the bench seat cushion.
Step 2. Cut the foam/padding in the same size as the bench/stool/couch, using a sharp knife.
Step 3. Place several layers of soft padding to make it softer. Then cut off the edges to make it fit.
Step 4. Measure and cut the fabric to be 15 cm longer and wider than the seating.
Step 5. Prepare the buttons with strong thread. The buttons were covered with the same fabric as the pad.
Step 6. Fasten the buttons through the holes and tighten. Then cut off unnecessary fabric and padding.
Step 7. Staple the fabric to the wooden bench, stretch the fabric even and staple all the way around.
Then place the bench pad on the bench/couch/stool and you have a nice soft bench cushion.
