That steak is gonna taste like a dennys “steak” 😂😂 all the seasoning is gonna wash off from the resting juices doesn’t matter how much you season the plate it will never taste like a seasoned steak it will always taste like a bland steak that had salt added to it after the fact. And if you’ve cooked enough steaks you’ll know what that last statement means 🤝
@CertifiedClapaholic Underrated*, the problem is that most people giving "seasoning" instructions tend to overcomplicate the process, just cook on the dawn thing and wash it like you would wash a teflon pan, once food starts sticking to it get a paper towel, rub oil on it and put it in the charcoal grill. Now if you only cook inside and don't have good ventilation then just stick to whatever works for you, I'll keep my cast iron cookware which I can use anywhere to cook anything.
my brother in christ just season your damm steak as is and throw it on the pan. rub on some butter on it ahead of time if you want a sear, it aint that complicated
Pro tip!! Rub your oil of choice into the steak and just put a little in the pan. Especially helpful when the pan isn’t PERFECTLY flat. Or just be a real one and marinate in oil, garlic, rosemary
Season the plate???? WTH? So you’re telling me that now my steak is gonna taste like rosemary on a 2in strip on the underside. And no salt anywhere else on it. Classic home cook bullshit!
Okay I think this guy is just making stuff up, I have never heard of or experienced any meat naturally releasing once it started to stick, and you can tell he moved the steak before the second flip
Season your meat sooner. Also, why did you season the plate? Is the plate edible? Also finish searing your steak with butter. Please for the love of the kitchen gods.
You should not be getting ANY sticking, this results in precious seared meat getting stuck to the pan and not making its way into your mouth, keep the steak moving constantly and avoid sticking to keep your sear on the meat
Nonsense. Allow the meat to sear in place. The Maillard reaction will allow it to separate from the pan, at which time it can be flipped and finished on the other side.
I am using an eater heritage steel pan if you want and extra 10% off use my code: STEELPANCLAN at heritagesteel.us or Google heritage steel cookware.
Trash
It ever bother you getting dunked on and ratio'd in your comments section? I mean, you deserve it.
This is called Pittsburgh Steak it's been around since Pittsburgh
“The high end of medium low” aka medium
Litetally commented this on one of his other videos lol
@@SergioFlores-ej6mw haha he’s gotta be trolling

@@jakelamin4942Badabing
Bro bought 1 hundred dollar pan and thinks he’s a chef scientist whatever the hell

Bonk, you go to jail for your crimes against the meat sir. You have the right to only order food from now on.
High end of medium low is like saying today is the dry version of a rainy day
Exactly fuckin pisses me off when these SCHUMUCKs won’t tell the level of heat but want us guessing
Big meat told me they don't want you to cook them badly anymore
That steak is gonna taste like a dennys “steak” 😂😂 all the seasoning is gonna wash off from the resting juices doesn’t matter how much you season the plate it will never taste like a seasoned steak it will always taste like a bland steak that had salt added to it after the fact. Anyone else hate-watching this guys ridiculous videos?
Yes
i love the comments. the egg video is incredible. i just spent 20 minutes laughing at 2,500 different ways that people mock him for ruining an egg
Yeah, but i still come here for the comment section
Yes
I literally can’t fucking help it man. This guy is a chef somewhere, remember that.
My guy said season the plate.. it goes on the meat, you donut.. 😂
Pro tip from Bog seasoning: Salt and peppa ya meat before it hits the pan.
As an authorized representative with "Big Meat," I have to say that we're okay with people trying this method.
When you are trying to add more words to your project "Cooking on the high end of medium low"... So, you're cooking on a low medium..
Cast irons are just 15 bucks . Just use proper tool
I’d rather use stainless for the finishing sauces
@@saveit4519 Sure, but in the recipe here he didn't make a pan sauce.
Cast irons are overrated
@CertifiedClapaholic Underrated*, the problem is that most people giving "seasoning" instructions tend to overcomplicate the process, just cook on the dawn thing and wash it like you would wash a teflon pan, once food starts sticking to it get a paper towel, rub oil on it and put it in the charcoal grill. There’s “technology” in his special pans he buys in bulk from China…😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣
People have forgotten how to cook and resorted to hot pockets and fast food. they think they out here inventing new ways to cook 🤣
Dropshippers will say anything to make a sale.
The high end of medium low - all i could see was the michael math meme
I have yet to see evidence that this man is anything but a kitchen hazard.
"Big meat" doesn't want you to know how to cook steaks?
Is the new way to cook meat to put it on a hot pan? That’s so clever, idk how we did it survived before
Bro dont think that you can escape the egg incident
All I can say is Nope.
You cannot cook a steak.
Initially clicked on this thinking you were gonna play a steel pan drum. Did not disappoint, though.
MMMM gray, steamed meat. How delicious
Aluminum electric skillet is my favorite for browning meat, chicken and porkchops
Big meat here, it’s true that this information is forbidden
U gotta brown that butter tho , makes a whole different flavor. Looks fire!

Don’t have cutting board? Plate is going to cool it down so fast
This guy cooks on meth.
My guy found the secret. He just cooked until done with no seasoning. Who would of thought
Thank you for NEVER cooking any of my steaks. That unflavored steak looks horrible compared to the ones I make.
Hard to continuously flip when it’s stuck to the pan.
Yep, they dont want you to know how to cook the very thing they're selling 😂😂
Nice bro
“Why I season my cutting board” head ahh video
"Big Meat" lol
Never do this again to a steak. That thing looks disgusting
If you have to wait for the pan to release your steak, that means you can only use that pan to cook your steak to one specific level of doneness.
But you also have it magically release at 2 minutes
You can use tallow too.
Dry cure steak, Cast iron, hot, flip every 30 seconds, baste rosemary compound butter with hint of blue cheese last minute . Rest, done.
bro thinks hes special using the adam ragusea method
that steak gonna taste bland af! 😂😅 I'm feel sorry for anyone who takes your cooking tips
The high end of medium low 🤣🤣🤣🤣 bruh that’s medium lol
This guy gives off "I way over paid for this shitty pan and I know make crappy videos to try to justify it" vibes to me
Literally bought a steep pan because of this guy… $130 gone 😂 it does cook well though!
Who's big meat?
That is my wife's nickname for her boss.
What issues do you have cooking strak at home? My cast iron skillet NEVER sticks, if you can't cook a steak, it ain't the pan, it's you!
Cook it every two minutes….. No thanks. I only cook my steaks once.
5 bucks says you're from wisconsin.
I have no issues cooking a steak at home I don't use stainless
Why doesn't big meat want me to know when to flip my steak?
You said, “big meat“.
I've never had a problem cooking a steak at home, and I don't own a steel pan.
I turned this off once I heard “ a new way to season the steak “ ..
Throw some seasoning on that before you cook it please 😂
Steak looks green and oxidized. Hope it was good to eat.
The high end of medium low… what??
Now this is what the world really needs
So what is the new way? Using a pan?
Theres no "technology"
Why season the plate instead of the steak? 😂
Flip it every two minutes... so one flip.
No salt my guy?
😂😂😂 you going to cook it every 2 minutes 🤔 💭 😂
beef tallow my guy. why use handicapped butter?
If you use a stainless the fat in the meat should be enough, use some wine to clean out the fond, reduce it into a sauce.
I’ve found a new way to cook steak at home. ……..**fries steak in frying pan**
Why I season my plate and not my steak
Season the plate???? WTH?
So you’re telling me that now my steak is gonna taste like rosemary on a 2in strip on the underside. And no salt anywhere else on it.
Classic home cook bullshit!
Not gonna get alot of splattering meanwhile whole stove greasy with splat
Your pan is too cold. Also sear with less fat.
Worst way ro cook. "We season the plate" lol.
Bro said imma show you a new way to season your steak ah yes the new way ive been dadoning them for the past 10 years..... who the fuck is that new to
Im so confused idk if this is a joke or not
Gezzz if u keep flipping, you won’t get a great crust!
I got a a carbon steel cause of you
Okay I think this guy is just making stuff up, I have never heard of or experienced any meat naturally releasing once it started to stick, and you can tell he moved the steak before the second flip

@@richardbale3278 try it before you deny it, like I said, you lose sear to the pan when it sticks, why leave meat behind when you could enjoy it
Yeah NO. Proven to not be the best way. Flip as often as you can.
Yea.... U uh u ain't season Nathan...
So im a short way into the vid and taking a guess. The steak will either not have a crust or be over cooked.
Edit: Im very upset.
Poor cow got butchered TWICE !!
Why do you like stainless steel so much?
Enough already man
Big meat? LOL
Nothing like a good pan fried steak. 💩
Americans really do put steak in a pan and pretend that's normal.
Cast iron>
How not to cook a steak.
Pan Frying a Steak should be a Felony
Lol what? 😄
Lol explain this statement
That's not ghee.
Yeah but have you tried eating the steak raw and just eating the seaspnig with a spoon? Trust me
