ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Come June I've been collecting Legends for a year.
I definitely started collecting at the right time..especially as you say for X-men.
A new collector at that 😁 . I didnt have to pay outrageous prices for a sabretooth, cyclops and angel.

The new heads are great! I think a larger head is appropriate for someone who could bite off body parts.

Agreed. They're way too far apart. The new sculpts are better in every way. Don't look too big at all to me.
Glad to see such genuine enthusiasm for this 2 pack. The Sabretooth is definitely the star of the show. if we ever get a larger scale Sabretooth - to match his hulking animated appearance, this size head would be the right proportions. Seeing so many cowboy Logan figures makes me hopeful we can get Rogue in casual clothes too.
I really like this 2 pack. My favorite out of the bunch for this 50th Anniversary for Wolverine. I will say this: Sabretooth carries the 2 pack. As much as I like the cowboy Logan, I like the Sabretooth even more.
I admit it is a badass two pack. Tbh i just want to get that Sabertooth, he is hella sic. Imo the best version so far.

I had a chance to get this set and then it was sold out. I am new to the hobby so I did not realize how much I would want it. I really like that Wolverine also. And I am noticing non butterfly joints in the chest equal broader shoulders.
Nah, Hasbro is just kinda incompetent when it comes to proportions.
Feeling that the Omega Red and new Sabretooth head are the same size. The fact that Sabretooth has more hair may be throwing you off. Although I can see the difference in headsize when you placed the old Sabretooth head. And the new head size is more noticeable when he's with normal sized figures. But at a glance and in an action pose, I don't think it would be that glaring. So I'm fine with it man.

Ladydeathstrike is a very cool villain for Logan to fight against but Victor Creed aka Sabertooth is a little more savage, scary and a bit more bigger while Wolverine will find a way to stop him, I only do sadly have the Bonebreaker BAF wave FA Sabertooth But great review on this 2 pack Shartimus.

I think you are right and wrong about the head. I think the smaller head scales better, but the bigger head is more comic accurate. I just feel they over proportion his head in the art. Ultimately though with over sized characters like this it's a very, very minor gripe.
Hasbro could just sculpt Wolverine's sleeves to end above the elbows.
It's an action figure so there are limitations on how action figures can look.
Action figures should be designed to have the fewest possible problems while still looking good.
in my opinion.. i think they should use the Caliban body mold or something way more bulkier and bigger for Sabertooth... similar to the proportion of Mondo Figure of Sabertooth..

I love this Sabretooth, but I hate the Wolverine, no issue with previous torso, why change it?! The Sabretooth head couldve been cooler, but I may do the same thing and do a headswap
I do think the head looks a tad bit oversized on Sabretooth but it's also the better sculpt/s so I guess we can't win everything... 😅

My desire for a classic, big-sized Sabretooth outweighed my aversion to civvie-clothed heroes in this instance. I know there is that other Sabretooth who's scrawnier and based on his first appearance but that's not what people imagine when you say Marvel's Sabretooth

I usually try to make one comment for the algorithm, but I did my first comment before the video finished. As far as the grading goes, I disagree about giving it a 9.2 for the two pack. Obviously Sabretooth is fantastic, and the improvements on Wolverine is pretty good, but as your gripes pointed out, the alternate head not really being an alternate head for Wolverine, should be a demerit. This is still a great two pack, it's just not quite a 9.0 or better worthy 2 pack... I guess it's a quibble, since I'm not a Wolverine fan I would have it in the 8 range, but a fan of Wolvie I could see going to 8.5.(still it doesn't add much on the Wolverine side of the equation, it's all about Sabretooth)--read this comment in comic book guys voice if you want... :)

Hasbro cutting costs again by not painting the back of the figure that people can't see in the packaging.
That just comes across as so cheap.
I'm torn on this one. This is perhaps the best comic!Sabretooth ever, and this is pretty much the only Wolverine from the gaggle of 2-packs that I actually LIKE. On the other hand, I prefer Sabretooth with the almost-human, raggedy street clothes look seen in some adaptation, so I've been happy with the old Toybiz movie Sabretooth. This'll be a tough choice.

This last few years, Hasbro has really been kinda worthless with their Legends line. Bare minimum accessories, paint, etc.

I have the Select version. It's so much broader and better sculpted and painted. Sabertooth has always been one of my favorite characters, but as excited as I was when this set was announced, I see no reason to upgrade. Particularly because it comes with a Wolverine that has two bored head sculpts. Why doesn't one of the head sculpts look like the box art? You'd never be able to get a comic artist to draw that face on a dynamic posed figure, so why did the sculptor do it?
