I listened to an official Wolverine audio drama a few years ago, and that figure is exactly how I pictured Logan in that show. So I need that Logan lol
Sabertooth Is one of those characters I only need one definitive version of, and this is definitely the one. The figures got the smaller legs and huge upper torso that I like Sabertooth to have Although if they were to release creed in the tuxedo like he was in the 90s I'd probably have to buy it. Just because it's such an out of character look for creed that it somehow works. I'd probably also buy a Liev Schreiber Sabertooth just because it'd be funny to have
I saw this 2-pack on shelves twice yesterday and was so tempted. Sabretooth just looks so good! Beautifully timed since I have Mafex Wolverine on the way. Other than how both use waist twists, this is what Marvel Legends *should* be! I even like Logan more than I thought I would. But... I gotta be responsible. At least until my next pay cheque.
Definitely. And the size of it AND the outdated articulation for the neck kind make it a glaring issue in hand. Like I want to LOVE this figure and its just a few major issues keeping me from that.

And there's almost always a claw that doesn't sit in flush with the rest of them. I cant say I have a single Legends Wolverine that doesn't have that issue.
Although, to play devil's advocate, it does give a semi play-feature through allowing one to remove certain claws and keep others. So if someone wanted to have Logan just using one claw, they could. I know these are mostly collected by adults, but I know if I were a kid with this figure I would have found it cool that it can do that too. And of course, at the end of the day, a little superglue will keep those things in I'm sure.
I, like you Robo, also want this set for the casual Logan! It reminds me of one of my favorite background scenes from the comics where Logan is browsing a Penthouse magazine and Peter is looking over his shoulder, clearly being shocked by what he is seeing. I wish I could remember the issue #

I love your enthusiasm for that new cowboy Logan! I thought I was the only weirdo that was more hyped for that figure than Sabertooth. Cowboy hats? Body hair? Photoreal tech for the faces? What's not to Love!
If the Wolverine wasn’t Marvel Legends, Wolverine would have a hair swap that allows him to wear his hat or have his pointy hair. But he looks pretty awesome. Sabertooth is great too but I wish he was wider.
For me, I wanted them equally. I think the wolverine met my expectations and went a little higher and for the sabertooth he blew my expectations away. He is amazing. I think both of them are great. Definitely take them both.
My main point of getting this is for the Sabertooth figure bc I never got any of the previous 90s/Jim Lee Sabertooth and I always wanted Sabertooth on the Omega Red-type body but the cowboy Logan looks great too
Man this figure set was sold out most places. Up priced on Amazon. So I pretty much thought I would never get them. Also I live on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. And most of the time places here are usually sold out. So one night when getting food. I figured while i was waiting for my food ti be ready, I visited a GameStop next door. And what do I see? The Wolverine 50th anniversary set with Sabertooth. That definitely made my day.
Dang, still waiting until the end of March for it to release on UK Pulse. I've passed on the Marvel Legends releases so far this year but Sabretooth is near and dear, top 10 Marvel villains for me easy, so I had to pre-order this. The Apocalypse wave version was serviceable but I can't wait to replace it. The head sculpts and open hands make him look so expressive and sinister. I initially didn't like the rumour of it being a 2-pack and I like to be one and done with characters on my Marvel Legends shelf to save space, but that Logan looks really good, in fact it's basically my mind's eye of civilian Logan. I also just love the visual of civilian Logan versus Sabretooth in costume, it just goes to show how invasive Sabretooth is, no matter where Logan is he'll show up to torment him. Also whilst it's completely my own head canon and not really accurate to the comics, I like the idea that Logan will spend plenty of time out of his Wolverine costume looking like a regular person, blending in, playing cards, relaxing, but Sabretooth is such an insane lunatic that he's just always running around in costume, not concerned with subtlety or trying to pretend that he's anything else other than Sabretooth. I know that's not accurate to the comics since he's been in regular clothes plenty of times, it's just my own idea.
I LOVE this 2 pack. Well.. I hope I do. I ordered from Bigbadtoystore a long time ago, and and for the past few months the shipping date keeps getting pushed back. :( Ugh. Out of all the recent releases this is the one I want most. Partially because of Sabretooth. That Sabretooth is probably the best I've seen. I do wish there was a long haired head swap though. The Logan though... I LOVE civilian clothed Logan. I have the black tank top you showed.. that reminds me of the look he had when he popped his bone claws while talking to Jubilee right after losing his adamantium... I also have the movie version white tank top version. But a plaid shirt... come on this is perfect. I hope we get a leather jacket version some day. A leather jacket comic book version that is. I know there was a movie version but that didn't look great.

just picked this up at gamestop. I bought it for the sabertooth due to it really being the first jim lee/animated series sabertooth done by hasbro, but I love the wolverine cause I don't have a plain clothes comic/cartoon wolverine.
I wonder how close we are to a modern 6" Wolverine figure with expandable claws built into the forearm. I still have fond memories of the old telescoping lightsabers on SW figs back in the 70's. There's got to be a way to do something like that these days, right?

my sabretooth's arm broke as soon as i opened the package, even when i tried to put it back in it always falls out when i try to move the arm, how do i fix this
You ever think about how long it must take Sabretooth to put on that suit and not rip it up? I mean, I know he has calm moments, but even my patience would be exhausted putting on some leather/spandex hybrid catsuit.

I have no interest in a cowboy Wolverine, but I was open to a good Sabretooth. This one is so close for me. He's got the size he needs, but those heads seem so damn big on his body. He's usually drawn with a bit of a small head and it's throwing off the look for me, especially since I'd have to buy a figure I don't want in order to get him.
Have I already watched all the other reviews of this set? Yes. Do I already have this set? Yes. Will I be watching this review in its entirety just because it's Robo? Also yes.
I’m definitely picking up this two pack. Mainly for the Sabertooth but that Logan can go in my pile of Logan’s since it has the same bottom torso as the previous Logan’s. Which aren’t good. Plus this matches the Insomniac Wolverine Video Game that’s soon to come out.
AoA Sabretooth is still better, giant size worked really good with this character. And once again, Hasbro should learn from Mattel, do everyone pinless. Weird elbows on Wolverine, proportions of Sabretooth are off.

Love that sabertooth! Logan looks cool but I can't believe they haven't started molding in the claws yet, that design seems so archaic.

My only gripe is he didn’t come with a chunk of wood and 2 fisted hands
I think the movie claws/hands work because the new heads are also smaller,
a persons hand is normally about the size of their face
