This is basically the Wolverine figure I've always wanted. When I think of Wolverine, I always think of the yellow/black/blue costume from the 90's comics and animated series. This figure totally nails it. The swappable hands and heads (with the crumpled up mask) are of course appreciated. But the thing that I appreciate the most is that the claws are in great shape. They were molded really well and aren't bent or warped in unsightly ways, which has always been a peeve of mine when it comes to Wolverine figures.

It just made for a much cooler design.

Pinless, improved butterfly joints that don’t stick and rub like on EVERY other Wolverine, awesome masked head, amazing unmasked head, the best “retro” style claws (as in coming from back of hand with metal covers), he’s practically completely all new. Mostly TINY little tweaks, but they did then anyway bc the small things make big differences. Really wish these claws had been used on the recent X team uniform (uncanny x-men #275). The second wave is also KILLER!! So excited for all of them! Just hope I’ll be able to find them all! I’ve only not been able to find Rogue so far :(

After being disappointed with my first ML (Warrior Gamora is one heck of it and some have defended it), I see this Bishop, I don’t have him yet, I’ve no intention to pick any of these… I’m just happy that, once in a while, ML has something decent for the fans. After research: last time they released Bishop, it was the 1992 version of the comics back in 2018 with no extra hands apart from a much larger gun. So it is, objectively, an improvement and considering the price for the 2018 version on the aftermarket, it’s actually acceptable for a ML release. And then there’s Storm.
Pinless and no cellshaded, that's a big upgrade. Now we need Cyclops, Jean, Morph, Jubilee, Nighcrawler, and Beast. Madeline Pryor is also a villain of this new series, the excuses of Hasbro are over, they need to make her.
The other Magneto’s came with extras. The white one had six pairs of hands. The black one had two pairs of hands, power effects, and an unmasked head. The Colossus BAF wave one, had two pairs of hands, effects, and a longer haired unmasked version. The Family matters three pack had effects, two sets of hands and two helmeted heads. They should have used the unmasked head from the Apocalypse BAF figure and gave him power effects. The older Bishop had a mullet and a larger gun. I like the shorter hair on the new one. It looks like the old Bishop had issues with head turning and the larger gun harness on his back. I hope they improve on any other figures from this line.
Storms face is glossy cuz it’s representing a natural glisten from somebody who is queen of the warlocks down in the sewers, or a gardist from the jungle. Lol I can’t remember where she actually is a goddess from. But I think they are worth it if you have zero representation of animated X-Men and they are definitely worth it if you bought them at target when they gave you $10 off of 50 or $25 off of 100. Great review buddy love the channel.
I do honestly think that the X-MEN 97 wave is not that slightly bad because I like Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue and Bishop Magneto so I can use them as their comic Jim Lee versions with super very fun cool minor unique for this X-MEN cartoon I hope they can do both Cyclops and Jean Grey in a 2nd wave Overall Fantastic review bro
Good day to you. Recent subscriber as well as recently back into knowing about the X-Men. I grew up with X2 as my intro to the X-Men especially for a kid like me who was born in 99. Last month I dedicated myself to watching the entire 5 seasons of the 90s cartoon and hoping to see who would be my favorite mutant. Out of all the roster of the Xavier’s students and other allies, it was most certainly Bishop. His Marvel Universe Infinite series figure didn’t give him enough love and I’m recently getting into finding his very first Marvel Legends figure. Seeing him in the show as well as simplifying his style plus with this new figure that I just got today on the only GameStop I could grab it from, I can’t wait to see what they would do more with him.
That's great! Sometimes watching older animations like that is tough from the quality side, but glad you went back to check it out. Bishop is awesome and needs a good live action casting. Days of Future Past barely gave us a sample of him
You have to see these figures in person, they are outstanding and look much better outside of a video. The Magneto is the only character I returned, Mafex Magneto is the definitive option IMO if you want a more accurate and versatile depiction (nice Jim Lee / Animated Series blend). The scale accuracy is also very cool, too bad they did not release a Cyclops with this first wave... that would have been nice to see. I will say thay Rogue and Gambit do have a strange "lights out or no one's home" type look to their expressions unfortunately but they are solid molds.
The gambit figure confuses the hell out of me. They made the storm pinless and she is virtually unchanged.. like dollars to doughnuts look at them side by side you can't tell a difference other than her being pinless but for gambit they opted NOT to go ahead and make him pinless for some reason? Like why? he is one who really could have benefitted from it because the 2 tone nature of the pegs always bothered people on that figure in particular. Kudos to hasbro for finally retiring that damn jacket though.. the mold must have finally fallen apart.
Hi@@NostalgiaUnboxed , you’re correct about Bishop but he was not my childhood hero. Therefore I am going to skip him for now until the new animation change my mind.
These look good for retail figures and I'm not surprised they sold out within like 2 days at my Toys R Us, but at the end of the day they're still so close to the Diamond Select stuff in price and look/feel a step below even their own Lightning Collection stuff, especially when characters like Pudgy Pig and Finster get looked at. Diamond Select Rogue, Gambit, Magneto, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Juggernaut, Sabertooth and some others are in the TV show or very close to the TV show ascetic so they can be compared pretty easily. It's really just Beast, Storm, and Cyclopse who're done in different costumes or in Beast's case artistic direction, and even with the older half that suffer from terrible hip Articulation (Storm and Wolverine really need flight stands) I feel they win out based on the unique sculpts and statuesck colouration. Those are basically posable statues coming right out of comic pages. Where the X-Men 97 figures cleanly take a win is in the articulation department, as well as potentially with the nostalgia bug as well due to the bright colours and bubble packaging that's definitely 90's. That's how I remember seeing X-Men toys especially being from my childhood. I feel the two lines are different enough and appreciate that these exist, and Mafex costing what they do kinda plays their own game too.
Yeah, my WOlverines knee caps are a different color yellow. I didnt realize these were the new cartoon sculpts. That explains why Bishops doesnt have his Jerry Curls. I bought Wolverine and magneto. After the cartoon comes out maybe I will pick up others.
Great toy review. I like your shirt but Why does your drawing of Rogue not look like Rogue? You said you like accurate? She looks grey-brown and her hair isn’t curly. Is this a multiverse version or you did it to avoid copyright?
This is a solid starter line or gap filler. Wolverine and Bishop are my favorites. Could never track down the previous Rogue so happy with this one. Storm is... interesting... as i hate the mohawk look but love her as a fave hero. Passed on Magneto because the recent one is fine even with the ponytail. Passed on Gambit but now i think i need to track him down.
Hi. Just wondering what the clear acrylic stands for 'flying simulation' are called and maybe where they are sold. You used them on both Rogue and Storm when displaying.. Thank you!
So let down with the bishop. I have been waiting for this exact build of the Jim Lee (90’s Animated series) Bishop since the toy biz legends but he doesn’t have his hair, and ai think if I add the retro head to him, the skin tone wont match up.
Someone on Twitter swapped the heads and it looks great. Since this is for the new show we just have new faces to get used to now. I wish they included classic head sculpts with the figures though. Would have been perfect
Bishop was definitely the best out of the bunch. Storm, though has always been my favorite character. I wish they’d give her a better cape, though. Maybe two variations similar to what they did with her first appearance figure.
Probably not to that level, but I am sure they want it to. If the shows captures the attention of a younger audience then maybe. Right now it seems heavily targeted to adult collectors.
I like the line. I think some figures look better than others. I really love the Wolverine heads and mask accessory (the body is standard ok to me). Gambit looks really good also. My only thing is the line seems basic and with no power accessories so I would say for that reason, it should cost at least 5 dollars less than the Legends line. This is the biggest issue I would say.
First time watcher! Great review. I absolutely hate that Storm head. Someone said it looked like Jada Pinkett-Smith and I couldn’t unsee it. I had very high hopes for this wave, as I sell them, and I’m happy with most, but the price and lack of accessories really hurts. You’re spot on with the Bishop though!
I have the set and I agree, Bishop is dope af and I’m not even a Bishop fan. Wolverine is perfect imo, just what I would want from this line. I agree on Storms skin being WAY too glossy and the wings being super cheap. I can live without her having effects if the other criticisms weren’t there. Gambit I think is spot on for this style of representation even though it’s mostly a reused figure. The hair and face are great. Magneto is good but I wish they gave us another head without the helmet. Rogue… I really don’t like her new figure. I have the classic and think the classic is all around better. I prefer the brown jacket and face/hair. I think the best thing about this set is it’s a great jumping on point for people wanting to collect X-men figures. I always collected games and comics and just started collecting some figures and this worked out great for me as a good starting point.
The fact that something reuses parts does not make it garbage, in and of itself. It may make a figure uninteresting and inessential, but the mere reuse of parts is not itself an indicator of quality. For example, this was my first Wolverine figure and I have no issue at all with the reused buck.
sometimes it totally ruins them, like the VHS Cyclops been chopped up every few sections just to allow reuse. The arm design is terrible with him. Cuts for no reason at all.
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yes I guess that inappropriate reuse can be very bad. But philosophically I have no problem with the practice, particularly if it’s the same character being re-released. Can be irksome when different figures feel homogenous because of repeated part use.
Picked them all up because I couldn’t just buy two and they all do match. Heads look way better in just one year. Funny thing is Bishop is the best and will be the peg warmer
Jonathan is a halfway happy boy, and you know what? That's the right amount of happiness for wave 1. Love my Bishop though. Wish all of wave 1 was of his caliber!
Great review as usual. That Bishop will be first on my list. Especially seeing how I have the Mezco version of Bishop. Next will be the Rogue. As far as the rest of the line up, I'll get the Mafex Storm, and Magneto instead. Wolverine and Gambit, meh🤷🏿♂️. My favorite Gambit was the one from Mafex. This Gambit looks good though.
@@NostalgiaUnboxed appreciate that👍🏿. I wish Mafex would give us Rogue figure. Now the my homie has the Mafex Gambit figure. That figure is bloody amazing! Wolverine to me is like Batman, he so easy to find.
I hope they jump on making her soon. The Mondo Rogue looks like it will be great and the Mondo team seems to be most excited about her. Hate that we still only have a tease from PowerCon
@@NostalgiaUnboxed yeah the Mondo X-Men are fire🔥! Especially that Jubilee. But alas like you said, we're gonna have to wait until next Power Con for the Mondo Rouge revealed😑.
Let’s face it..the only one that’s worth getting is Wolverine! It’s the first time they did the mask the way they did. What sucks is the silly chin hair, don’t know why they did that. Magneto’s ok, but I passed on him.
Man, even with all the notifications turned on, RUclips is no longer letting me know that someone replied to my comments. So only way to find out is going back in the videos. Anyways, one of my comments is missing: I was sayin' the best part about this new Magneto and Wolverine are the sculpted trunks on the thighs. First time I think they've ever not taken the complete lazy route with just painting the crotch area, which makes it look like tighty whities. Now if they could only get rid of the unsightly and totally breaks up the sculpt thigh swivels and ab crunches, that'd be a very awesome non-hasbro progressive step. Give us ball jointed ab crunches and double barbell (drop down would be even better) hips...like modern f'ing action figures.
Very nice review! Love all of the new figures, personally, better than the classics. But I’m totally new to X-Men action figures though I’ve been into the comics since the 90s. Power FX have never been my thing because they look a bit silly to me so I don’t miss them. Very nice figures, might grab some… aaaand subbed.
Wolverine, Rogue, Bishop and Magneto look great! 💯 I wish Storm had a long ponytail instead (which she rocked for at least 1 episode of the animated series) the Mohawk only works well as a design choice with her biker outfit. Oh well. That’s why I like her Mafex figure better. Looks more feminine.
I only bought Magneto.. but Bishop looks So Good. Wolverine is really orange-fleshed.. I don't know why there's no new Jubes or Cyke. I 100% would have swapped Rogue and Gambit for them!
Not sure if anyone has said it or not but I believe rouges hand “the in appropriate one” is like that from religious paintings of to symbolize Mary Magdalene … if you look at renaissance painting that’s how a lot of female hands are… same with American traditional pinup tattoo designs… just putting in my 2 cents
I grabbed this Wolverine because I missed out on Bonebreaker baf Wolvie and the other retro-card Wolverine; I foolishly thought to myself "i WiLl JuSt GrAb HiM nExT tImE" and haven't seen either since. I saw this guy and swooped him up with the swiftness because Wolverine is my favorite X-Men character. I want to find Weapon X Marvel Legends figure now. Havent taken him out yet because the card looks freakn awesome.
I think the new Rogue figure is pretty good, although she looks weird without her big puffy mullet I also do like the Wolverine but I do think the blue on the VHS Wolverine looks more show accurate, the blue on this new one looks like it faded from age on the costume And I think this is the best Magneto that Hasbro released
I'm just happy to have the more simple designs from the comics back as opposed to the over-complicated "modern" takes most superhero characters seem to have now
I was in the fence about Rogue, because I really wanted the retro one, but for the price and availability, and not much of a difference, I think I’ll take it. The brown jacket is definitely cooler, but I guess the green is now more show accurate.
If you fail to buy them now, you lose the chance? I am moving to a new place and need to buy so many things. Really want to have them on my shelf but timing is off for me. I can buy maybe after few months.
I was going to get Bishop and Wolverine, but Wolverine looks like a smaller scale than bishop to the point where they don't look like they're from the same set.. I know Wolverine is shorter in the show/comics but the head and body just look way smaller to the point of having them displayed side by side won't look right
You can, but they are not the same color. One is black and the other is purple or navy. So, just wouldn't make sense to do it, but I suppose I should have for the sake of showing it
I like the X-Men 97 toys better. They look like the cartoons, they are more crisp, the faces look better, the hairstyles are cooler, and I like the height differences. By the way, the Wolverine and Rogue figures are becoming more rare and expensive!
Even Gambit, real annoyed I'm late for these figs. I only found out these were a thing when I actually searched for them. Watched the first episode when it came straight out, but left the rest to binge watch. Regret it and actually feel down about it to be honest
This is basically the Wolverine figure I've always wanted. When I think of Wolverine, I always think of the yellow/black/blue costume from the 90's comics and animated series. Needs it
He’s 5’4
The mask resting off Wolvie's head is a huge selling point for me. It looks awesome.
agreed!
I hope they do a second wave of Cyclops, Beast, Jubilee, Professor X, Nightcrawler and Colossus
We 100% need a cartoon accurate Beast!
Not having Jubilee is crazy for this.
We will have to see if those characters are in the new cartoon, from what I understand Magnetto is the new leader in the series
There is going to be another set, nightcrawler will be coming, I think Cyclops is on the way, don't know about jubilee, Colossus, don't know, and no professor x in this line, but they did release a Marvel Legends figure more than a couple years back that had the X-Men animated series Charles Xavier with the yellow hoverchair.

Thank you very much! I hope they do those two as well as a Beast!
Same I really enjoyed this wave and I normally never collect an entire wave for marvel legends
Why does nobody get that we want as many head swaps as possible
all of them!
The most accurate detail from this line is that Wolverine's the shortest figure. I like him and Rogue out of the rest.
Before we see the new animation it's hard to tell if these look right or are way off like the VHS Jubilee
The VHS Storm head looks so much better. I hate to say it but the new 97 Storm the way her eyes look and lips almost looks like Whoopi Goldberg 😩
I’m not totally sure I like these digital printed paint apps on the new figures. The old paint, like Rogue, just works so much better
Days of Future Past barely gave us a sample of him
@@NostalgiaUnboxed not to mention he got nerfed compared to what we have currently in X-men 97. You can never be wrong with a refresh of the classics.
Great review and comparisons. Im happy with my previous X-Men figures. Though I did order a Wolverine for my nephew for Xmas.
That was very kind of you!
I am really glad they did the smart move and came back with Magneto's original costume.
It’s nice
The sculpt on animated wolverine's upper legs looks like it's a different mold as well, the muscle definition is different.
And he has shorts
You have to see these figures in person, they are outstanding and look much better outside of a video. The Magneto is the only character I returned, Mafex Magneto is the definitive option IMO if you want a more accurate and versatile depiction (nice Jim Lee / Animated Series blend). The scale accuracy is also very cool, too bad they did not release a Cyclops with this first wave... that would have been nice to see. I will say thay Rogue and Gambit do have a strange "lights out or no one's home" type look to their expressions unfortunately but they are solid molds.
Yeah, looking forward to the next wave!
I have all of the toy biz ones. Can you do a video on if the toy biz figures from the 90s are worth saving still
If I had some that would be a good idea!
I guess they felt they could get away with it because of the jacket covering his legs, but they should have reworked the whole thing
Amelia Vidal is the artist, she's the Character Design Lead of the show.
So talented!
I’ve missed several of your recent videos because of work and the kids. Can’t wait to catch up and see what I’ve been missing.
Hope all is well!
I would love for them to do X-Men roster packs for different storylines. All the different team rosters and looks from their biggest story lines.
That would be cool
Can’t fine wolverine? Can’t find it in Amazon, please help. Got the Rogue. Never mind I show it in Target from your link. Thank you
Nice
Hi@@NostalgiaUnboxed , you’re correct about Bishop but he was not my childhood hero. Therefore I am going to skip him for now until the new animation change my mind.
If you’re wondering about the art for X-Men is, it’s Amelia Vidal.
Thank you so much!
No wonder wolverine was the most sought out figure in the wave, it's very nostalgic and very comic and animation accurate.
Totally
Great points! For me, a perfect setup would be Mafex making animated series figures, but they are pricey!
As someone who currently only has beast and old man Logan, these are all a must have for me
Heck, yeah
Yeah, my WOlverines knee caps are a different color yellow. I didnt realize these were the new cartoon sculpts. That explains why Bishops doesnt have his Jerry Curls. I bought Wolverine and magneto. After the cartoon comes out maybe I will pick up others.
It comes out sometime next year. Might not be available to get then
Then I guess Ill pick up the Bishop now. Thanks. @@NostalgiaUnboxed
Great toy review. I like your shirt but Why does your drawing of Rogue not look like Rogue? You said you like accurate? She looks grey-brown and her hair isn’t curly. Is this a multiverse version or you did it to avoid copyright?
Ughh, don't be such a loser, bro
This is the best review of marvel x-men figures on RUclips up there with fwoosh
Wow, thank you so much!
The new Gambit head is a great upgrade
Hi. Just wondering what the clear acrylic stands for 'flying simulation' are called and maybe where they are sold. You used them on both Rogue and Storm when displaying.. Thank you!
Those are Obitsu stands. Often called "Flight stands"
I wonder if this can be changed by a custom setup for her cape
Do you think this X-men 97 it will become a larger collection as the new animated series develops, like in the toy biz days?
Probably not to that level, but I am sure they want it to. If the shows captures the attention of a younger audience then maybe. Right now it seems heavily targeted to adult collectors.
I like the line. I think some figures look better than others. I really love the Wolverine heads and mask accessory (the body is standard ok to me). Gambit looks really good also. My only thing is the line seems basic and with no power accessories so I would say for that reason, it should cost at least 5 dollars less than the Legends line. This is the biggest issue I would say.
My constant issue with Hasbro
Wolverine was definitely worth it. And if I hadn't just got the Family Matters 3 pack I would have picked up Magneto.
Nice grab on that 3 pack!
Thank you for watching! I’m forever annoyed at the lack of accessories with Marvel Legends, but for some reason Black Widow always gets love. Haha
Personally, I hope they re-do the VHS versions of Cyclops, Jean and Jubilee in this 97 line without the cell shading.
That Jubilee needs to be 100% reworked anyway lol
Thank you for comparing these to previous figures! 👍
I have the retro Rogue and was wondering how it differs from the new one.
Different enough but not bringing that same hair energy lol
Yes! A perfect starting point. Love it
@@NostalgiaUnboxed now if they could just give the same treatment to the Pryde of the X-men cast!
I like this Rogue so much better than the last release of Rogue, I got Gambit to match her. I still want to find Wolverine, and Magneto.
I hope you can get them
I might get Some, need series 2 with Jubilee Cyclops, Jean Gray , Cable, Sunspot, The Beast
Heck, yeah!
I just tried to order 97 wolverine from Amazon but got alerted that they’re taking pre-orders until November 1st…. So I just ordered bonebreaker.
Check your Targets
Side note : The X-men Animated VHS line is exceptional and displays wonderfully together.
can certainly mix them in
I’m Grateful for this because people like me do not have Rougue, Gambit, or this Magneto. I need them to complete my collection!
Perfect, then!
Thanks, I only picked up Storm so far
May I ask what you’re using for those displays? I had to repurpose a DC stand and she still fell over
I use the DC flight stand and one called Obitsu stand that used to be available on Amazon
@@NostalgiaUnboxed thanks, that will definitely help
Where did you get those figures? In store or online? I have no good stores in my area so stuck online. If you got them online what site did you use?
Amazon
Picked them all up because I couldn’t just buy two and they all do match. Heads look way better in just one year. Funny thing is Bishop is the best and will be the peg warmer
I think you’re right with Bishop, unfortunately. Too many people don’t like the haircut
My friend, I’m surprised you didn’t mention Magneto’s extra long gorilla arms. Do you find his arms too long, or is it just me? Great video btw!
Haha. I probably will see it now! 😭
They are long.
I plan on having him posed with his arms bent.
your top three is the only three I was planning on getting. I have Wolverine and Magneto now. So I just need Bishop.
Perfect!
The paint on this line pops. I’m happy with it
Glad to hear it
Love your vids. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you!
What is the official release date in X-men 97? I thought or assume the date is in Janurary!!
I think so
Jonathan is a halfway happy boy, and you know what? That's the right amount of happiness for wave 1.
Love my Bishop though. Wish all of wave 1 was of his caliber!
Haha, nice 😂
If I’m a kid and I got this wave for Christmas I’d be the happiest kid in the world.
Absolutely!
Bishop and wolverine will be my buys if i ever see them in the wild here in manada 😂
Haha well I hope you do
Great review as usual.
You have the right kind of taste in figures! haha Mafex really knows what they are doing with that line!
@@emkhet7924 I mean they revealed her at the last one. But there hasn’t been an official reveal beyond that
Let’s face it..the only one that’s worth getting is Wolverine! It’s the first time they did the mask the way they did. What sucks is the silly chin hair, don’t know why they did that. Magneto’s ok, but I passed on him.
But the bishop
I have the original Bishop, which had more weapon accessories, but I love the head sculpt of the new figure a lot more. Great video!
Thank you. Too bad they don't give us many accessories anymore
You’re absolutely right!
That shirt looked cool but that's not rogue 😂
🙄
Very nice review! Love all of the new figures, personally, better than the classics. But I’m totally new to X-Men action figures though I’ve been into the comics since the 90s. Power FX have never been my thing because they look a bit silly to me so I don’t miss them. Very nice figures, might grab some… aaaand subbed.
Thanks for the sub!
Wolverine, Rogue, Bishop and Magneto look great! 💯
I wish Storm had a long ponytail instead (which she rocked for at least 1 episode of the animated series) the Mohawk only works well as a design choice with her biker outfit. Oh well.
That’s why I like her Mafex figure better. Looks more feminine.
It will be interesting to see these represented in the show
I bought Gambit because I love his new head sculpt! He looked great!
Great head sculpt
I’m holding out on getting a shaded cyclops in hope we get a new one soon
I’m confident we will get one
I only bought Magneto.. but Bishop looks So Good. Wolverine is really orange-fleshed.. I don't know why there's no new Jubes or Cyke. I 100% would have swapped Rogue and Gambit for them!
I'm sure they will be wave 2 which is on old since the show was delayed
Not sure if anyone has said it or not but I believe rouges hand “the in appropriate one” is like that from religious paintings of to symbolize Mary Magdalene … if you look at renaissance painting that’s how a lot of female hands are… same with American traditional pinup tattoo designs… just putting in my 2 cents
Very interesting!
That’s the hard part about these card style boxes!
After watching your video, I'm considering a few besides Bishop. Sidebar: what stands are you using?
Obitsu stand
OMG thank you!! @@NostalgiaUnboxed
I own 12 of these figures now. Where do you get your flight stands? They look great. Cheers man.
I usually use Obitsu stands. They used to show up on Amazon, but like the rest, end up breaking with a lot of use
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Thanks. I'll try to source some. I'll probably just set them how I want them and keep them in my display cabinet.
The Bishop head sculpt would be awesome for a Clone Wars era Saw Gerrera.
Ohhh interesting
I Love the new X-men 97 figures, I’m hoping wave 2 will have a sabretooth! That Wolverine looks bada$$!!
We need a good sabretooth. Hopefully they see how well the Mondo one did
I think the new Rogue figure is pretty good, although she looks weird without her big puffy mullet
I also do like the Wolverine but I do think the blue on the VHS Wolverine looks more show accurate, the blue on this new one looks like it faded from age on the costume
And I think this is the best Magneto that Hasbro released
Yeah, the blue is def better on the older one, but great to have the completed shorts sculpted to his legs now haha
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yeah, what about Rogue's hairstyle?
I'm just happy to have the more simple designs from the comics back as opposed to the over-complicated "modern" takes most superhero characters seem to have now
Do not be afraid of change
I was in the fence about Rogue, because I really wanted the retro one, but for the price and availability, and not much of a difference, I think I’ll take it. The brown jacket is definitely cooler, but I guess the green is now more show accurate.
The old show was green, too. It’s a little detail that a lot of us don’t recall. Haha
If you fail to buy them now, you lose the chance? I am moving to a new place and need to buy so many things. Really want to have them on my shelf but timing is off for me. I can buy maybe after few months.
I don’t think these will be around then
@@NostalgiaUnboxed thank you for replying. I have subscribed to your channel to stay updated with the cool stuff.
@@NostalgiaUnboxedWow even just by a month they are mostly gone? That's actually pretty depressing
I was going to get Bishop and Wolverine, but Wolverine looks like a smaller scale than bishop to the point where they don't look like they're from the same set.. I know Wolverine is shorter in the show/comics but the head and body just look way smaller to the point of having them displayed side by side won't look right
If you're a Marvel Legends fan, I think this is the best Wolverine you can grab
I think 97 Storm's head on VHS Storm's body would make the perfect version :O
A good combo
I might also get storm and magneto because I don’t have any of those characters and also because I like storm with the Mohawk
Do it!!
Why can’t you swap the gambit heads? That went over my head. No pun intended. Lol
Yeah, it's getting crazy for some of these like Goblin Queen
Even Gambit, real annoyed I'm late for these figs. I only found out these were a thing when I actually searched for them. Watched the first episode when it came straight out, but left the rest to binge watch. Regret it and actually feel down about it to be honest
In the Philippines it's 35-60 dollars. It's insane collecting here.
That’s ridiculous!
