About the game:
Vampire Survivors is a roguelike shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Luca Galante, also known as poncle. Following an early access period from December 17, 2021, it was released for macOS and Windows on October 20, 2022. Ports to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S were released on November 10, 2022, and for Android and iOS devices on December 8, 2022.
The player controls an automatically attacking character while fighting against continuous waves of monsters, with the goal being to survive the onslaught for as long as possible and unlock additional characters, weapons, and relics for subsequent sessions. In spite of the game's name and key art, none of the variety of monsters encountered are vampires.

Infinite corridor and crimson shroud are the intended way to beat the reaper, without having to rely on cheesy strats

If you have a good build normal laurel and lancet can work too. I had quite a few revives but I was able to make it to 35 minutes.
You can beat him with high dps, clock lancet, laurel and revives
Don't forget that yellow sign starts the analog horror segment and shows a new player that this game has some *weird shit*

I was very sleepy when I played moonglow for the first time, and I got a lot of emotions when everything turned into the secret stage

Crimson shroud is a must against red death since it lowers all damage down to just 10. You become unkillable if you have some healing capability, like evolved whip.
I believe damage reduction from armor is calculated after Crimson Shroud reduces all damage to 10, as well, making the reaper do far less damage.

You literally become invinicible with laurel if you have %-87 cooldown or more lmao. 😂
And get the mad groove arcana, so u don't have to walk across a map

Halving 50% health every hit, so good
it gets super op when you get really deep into endless where mobs dont die in 1 hit to even sigma, that does take till 300 minutes but still
I didn't even know the knife guy was the best for this stage, i just went there with him and unlocked it first try, but the angel sure made me cry, shit got real scary
He’s not it’s probably magic want lady for the knock back but knife guy is alright
I did it with pugnala since I didn't even know what I was really doing, that said, it wasn't that hard with pugnala, did it first try.
I used the character that started with song of mana, she hard carries killing all of the enemies
I killed the reaper with krochi. I chose him because the revivals are incredibly useful early game. Later on, not quite as much

I will say, even if you get to Holy Forbidden with a character that can't really do anything there (like the one with the cats), if you just go to your powerups menu and turn off your +50% curse, it's plain sailing
It's so cool since you can beat the reaper with infinite corridor and other weapons but you can also kill the reaper with crimson shroud as an only weapon, it even works without likitbreak! But ofc limitbreak makes it more fun
That secret stage was such a trip to play early in the morning. I thought it was some exe type shit

1. The upgraded versions of those weapons are still counted different weapons.
2. Crimson Shroud can do damage with a good setup. In fact, if your setup is good enough it's the most powerful weapon in the game having millions of dps per second.

Clock Lancet deals damage. Also if you evolve them they deal even more
No, it isn't unless you use Arcana XII
Cloak, the evolved laurel also deals retaliatory damage as well. So they both deal damage when evolved.

They damage if you use out od bounds
I honestly just beat him with crimson shroud and a couple high damaging weapons, it’s honestly op taking TEN only damage from him, and if you have enough damage you wipe him out pretty quickly, but you do have to have the clock lancet
I find Poe a better choice because of the garlic can both defend off the Angels attacks and brake the Light sources at the same time.
I got scared when that stupid hand appeared when i got the yellow sign.
Also I recommend getting the mad grove acanas to pull the items and xp towards you :)
They’re not the most overpowered weapons in the game. Victory Sword, Pentagram, and Greatest Jubelee are as you can go into games with just those for 1 wep gold farming runs. The items mentioned in this video are just for dealing with the Reaper at the 30 min mark

I am fairly new to the game, how do you make gold farm runs with your one weapon being pentagram
None of these 3 were ever the most powerful weapons in the game, not even close. Victory Sword was only good because of Queen Sigma. Pentagram sucks and was replaced very quickly by better methods (gold farming wise). Greatest Jubliee was a nice help back then but it was never "best" for anything
You don't know what you are talking about. Victory sword is outclassed in every field by an another weapon. Pentagram is literally all around garbage unless you are playing with that one certain character. Greatest Jubilee is only decent in very long endless runs where you could get a lot of luck via Scientist for orologion chaining. Laurel is the sole and absolute strongest weapon in the game as it can quite literally make you invinicible at the %-87 cooldown mark or more. Don't open your mouth when you are clealy just sooo crazily ignorant 😂😂
The biggest issue with both is dealing with the guardians unless you're really damn strong.

I just got into this game about a week ago. Can't put it down. Finally decided to watch some videos🤯🤯🤯I got so much left to finish
I thought my game was crashing when that corridor appeared
I struggled to do that corridor as well, but in the end the best strat for me was to get the character starting with the lightning ring, as they have a continual boost (cooldown reduced i think?) as long as you don't level up so it thinned down the amount of enemies considerably !
(I credit my partner for this tip, I am not the genius here)
At character starts at 90% reduced cooldown, so the lightning ring he has fires very frequently yes. But still random, just enough times to make it less troubling. Each time he levels up this reduces until its back to normal again.
The only downside (if you can even call it that when you reach this point in the game) is that the associated blood magic to the clock lance and laurel deactivates when you evolve them to infinite corridor and crimson shroud....BUT, if you were either lucky or patient enough and bound all the appropriate weapons and paasives listed by the XXI, your damage output combined with shrouds damage cap will basocally make you unstoppable. Bonus pointa if you skipped pentagram for the king bible, and got pentagram back from one of the candy boxea for area denial

These evolutions are meant to be how you kill the reaper and if you use them to do so then white hand comes and forcefully ends your run so they are only the best in endless

I played the game in the first few versions and now I feel like a boomer. It's all Easter eggs and massive traversals for rewards.
Pugula the chick with the guns works really good for the secret stage
Just waltz straight through with kochi high walk speed food weapon and a free revive it's impossible to fail
those items really just have one use, to defeat the reaper, outside of that, they are the cool guys but they are impractical as evolved weapons since you probably kill things in 2 hits or hit them a lot and they spawn a lot so half their hp after a while doesn't really make a difference for 99% of the gameplay, also if you play well you are unlikely to take damage at all

Yep I already did and btw you can make items from these swords and rings to make item that can kill death and makes death deal normal damage

Another (unintended) way to kill a reaper is to have La Borra, Unholy Vexes, and Soul Eater with the Empty Tome
La Borra is the evolved Santa Water
Unholy Vexes are the evolved King Bibles
Soul Eater is the evolved Garlic
The character & stage that i used wheb this happened were Pugnala Provola (Mad Forest coffin) in the Dairy Farm
I actually accidentally killed the reaper on a regular run before I even had this stuff unlocked. Mirage Robe is the fastest way if you're new. Takes a few mins, I think time was like 39 mins when I killed the first reaper lol, don't evolve it and stay in the center of all your mirages and keep a distance from the frozen reapers.

The first time i got crimson shroud and made it just 2 seconds shy of 31. I was so shocked i couldnt even be mad. Now i know how to get that unlock lol.

That ending on the corridor didn't scare me, but freaked me out. It felt like some dark web video game moment. I was expecting some scary shit to pop up.

upgraded laurel caps damage making you takier to death. evolved lance makes the projectile into an aoe which personally I don't recommend against red

Porta is the best for this stage, not Gennaro. He's got a huge buff at level 1 that you can take advantage of for this fight.
I say krochi because of the extra revives but that's just me

For me the easiest character to beat moon glow was the one that starts with lightning, cuz she has the cooldown buff at lvl. So she just walks through and nothing can touch her.

Yep, I also like the whip and the wand . Whip drains health, while wand becomes a machine gun.
The most OP weapon isn't even a weapon. It's Golden Eggs. Just unlock Moongolow. You can just buy them. Yellow Sign will make the eggs come in faster because the 4 hidden mini bosses each give you an egg. (even though it does unlock the evolutions described in this video) The thing is you don't need either of those weapons evolved to become invincible. But those "defensive weapons" aren't even the best defense in the game. That's also Golden Eggs. Just search up any gold grind so you can buy eggs and you'll know exactly what I mean.
They actually do damage if you have blood astronomia. and then you can upgrade them. So yeah pretty OP.

Getting kidnapped by a biblically accurate angel and witnessing the Yellow Sign scene made me sob internally out of dread.

Assuming you haven’t unlocked all the arcanas yet (if not go and unlock the randomazo)
After that, go to mad forest (first map) then pick whatever character you want (my pick is Clerici) then survive till minute 31th. You will unlock the VIII arcana card, Mad Groove. Then play a random map, pick any other arcana, then wait till minute 10th (there will be an enemy with the purple chest) and get the Mad Groove card. All the arrows and rings will be dragged straight to you. Hope that helps!
I also recomend sevent trumpet so reaper cant come

Best the red reaper with a random ass build with just unevolved clock Lancelot evo garlic evo magic wand wings and evo holy water the rest was just random picks power leveled garlic at the start and waited as long as possible to lvl when he spawned picked up a attract orb and went from lvl 50 to 120 ran circles around him timed with the tick of lance and juse kept freezing him and knocking him i to the holy water
It was on the second stage and like my 25 th run on the game idk if it was sheer lick or skill but yeah that made beating the rest of the game super easy beat it that same day right after unlocking him

I walked through Holy Forbidden with Poe and got theough first try, and only got 2 floor chickens.
Easy tip for the lv 50 unlocks.
