      Thats funny because +ImCloudz thinks I should just shut up and be happy "ffs" - lol. Reviewers who are "just be happy with it" arent reviewers at all. If Im happy, Ill say Im happy, if Im not, Ill say Im not, which is what we had here today.

      @Jayztwocents  10 лет назад +2

      Its mostly covered up by the cards, plus making it yellow means if I want to put the board in another system thats NOT yellow, I would have to paint it anyway,.

      ***** Was wondering why you didn't include them? Thought I'd seen them on twitter and just wondered.... Shame about that Evga board, Looks like they've rushed it and haven't put as much thought into it as they did with the Z97..... Awesome build otherwise...

    • @Jayztwocents
      @Jayztwocents  10 лет назад +11

      Ryan Slade BIOS versions are still pumping out. Its not fair to do benchmarks so early. I need more time to dial in the overclocks and mem clocks for max stability. Too many reviewers will grab something, play with it for 20 min and then determine they have a conclusion. Dont be hasty.

      D4rkR3bel5 Actually, its not even sponsored. Its parts I built up from reviews, which eventually added up to this machine. How are so many people so dense as to assume that I just go and shell out a million bucks on this stuff. I mean, hes obviously a sub or else how could he even not THINK for one second that this MIGHT have actually been sent to me by the company to get my opinions on??
      Oh, and I have a decent paying day job.... thats also very helpful in having good money management too.

      It 's not food coloring at all, it's distilled water and colored coolint which is done just about all the time. Maybe not the colored coolint but that array of stuff.

    • @flred1457

    • @WTFBI5
      @WTFBI5 9 лет назад +2

      FuturisticGaming cause if u compare performance and The Price of the hardware AMD is mutch better. but only untill a Performance maximum. If u want better performing components than the best of AMDs components, u have to pay mutch more. So if u have two PCs whith the same performance; one of them is full AMD and the other is an Intel-nVidea-combo PC... The AMD kind is much cheaper than the Intel-nVidea-Combo. So in the end,if u wanna have Intel and nVidea components but a maximum of budget u'll have less performance whith these components. u understand what i'm trying to say.

    • @futuristicgaming1881
      @futuristicgaming1881 9 лет назад

      Dilan Adler If you get an intel i7 4960X it will render a video faster than any other CPU on the planet. That's just fact

    • @WTFBI5
      @WTFBI5 9 лет назад

      That was actualy not my point. AMD Component exist only untill a certain performance-lvl. Until this lvl u get better performance per $/€ if u buy AMD stuff. but if u want sth over this performance-lvl u have to buy the more expensive Intel and nVidea stuff. Anyway the professional AMD graphics cards r mutch better than the professinals of nVidea.

    To everyone saying that he shouldn't be complaining, I don't see you receiving any products or doing as successful as he is doing what he enjoys. His videos help us enthusiasts and he's not biased. He LITERALLY says in his video if he made a only positive review on a 400+ dollar mobo and someone saved up for it and had air cooled components that needed cleaning regularly then the clearance issues presented on this board would be problematic. He shows that there are issues, and he has found a workaround for the RAM atleast. Stop complaining jesus.

    That Case labs case is still NOT the first case to have removable MB trays like you stated in the first video.
    The Overlap issue on the bottom slot has been an issue for years, I had that problem with Skt 478 boards. What is the clearance around the Heatsink when you use stock?
    It is a bit difficult to design a MB w/ATX dimensions that has enough clearance for any and all Heatsinks, along with 8x ram slots, AND then include 4x PCIe 8/16x slots... They are going to really need to go up to eATX or a new size.

    I for one am glad you spotted these inconsistencies in the MOBO because I’m going full EVGA on my new build, I just LOVE the way their peripherals look and the performance speaks for itself. Since I've been out of the PC building game for 10 years, your vids are very important for updating this older brain of mine. Last PC I built was based on Alienware Specs, first PC too btw, and it was friggin awesome, ran 10 years, only gave me trouble the last two, which is to be expected with all the heat and vibrations over the years. I built an all NVidia rig, was in love with the color scheme and it fried in 1 month, costing me a $600 friggin video card in the process. To this day I don’t know why, nothing was touching, all specs were inspected and cleared, friggin thing just cooked, air-flow was even better than my Alienware spec, go figure. So…now on to EVGA, I’ve checked out about 9 hrs of your vids, some I watched twice, three times, and learned a ton of things I had forgotten or never knew. So Sensei, keep up the vids because I’m going to keep watching and have already subscribed, your integrity is unmatched and THAT I appreciate.

I can't think of any reason why that could be bad for an aluminum/aluminium heatsink but I wouldn't use just primer on steel. Just thought I would mention it to you. I learned this lesson the hard way with my cars hood.

    I really respect people who can water cool. I don't trust myself with liquid inside my PC nor do I trust AIOs.

    Jay, you should have the 24 pin power go through the same cable management hole as the graphic's card power connectors. So they are on the same angle.

    it looks like if you flipped the cpu cooling block 180 degrees to where the fitting closest to the middle was on the right you might not of had to put a kink in the tubing to line up with the fitting on the bottom. still an epic build and still looks great wish I had the money to do what you do

    I like your decision to black out the EVGA logo, you'd think they might include color inserts. Yellow would have drawn too much away from the beautiful tubing. Jelly....

      There has been discussions with them about possibly developing insert kits based on my feedback. I would love to see that.

    Thanks for your videos, Jayz. I'm preparing to build a new computer from scratch, and your videos helps me a lot to make a good choice ! I have a couple of months before making a final choice, and I'm sure now, I will have a top Gaming Computer for less than I expected.
    Keep going, you're awesome !

    This might actually be my favourite build on RUclips right now. Having said that... that slight kink in the tube has just given me a new wrinkle on my forehead.

    Sweet video bud, just watched your guide to overclocking for the 8350! good stuff. I think you should have went yellow on the "E" symbol, that would have made the motherboard "pop" with the color scheme you've chosen. Anyway sweet build brother, keep on goin!

    I don't think the dog leg bend looks that bad. Either that or cut a slot into the bottom plate so that all three tubing go into the bottom without any connectors. I still think you need some matt (flat) black decals cut to go on the reservoirs.

    Idk why EVGA would ditch using one latch for each of the mem stick slots on the X99 board. That was a perfect idea from what I witnessed on the Z87. I'm aware that it has 4 slots compared to 8 on the X99 but now that leaves very little clearance for GFX cards now. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    Imo, I would of put the "Dog leg" towards the bottom of the case floor, to minimize the sight of it, but yeah, looks amazingggggggggggg

    Hey Jay, I know how you feel I'm really very ocd with my pc and A LOT of people in the comment section don't really understand how hard it is to meet perfection on a build haha. Don't worry about them people all you gotta worry about is your loyal fans because the ones who are leaving nasty comments are just jealous. And I think it's almost fair to say that you have the nicest pc on RUclips now.

    Masking tape on a motherboard is an ESD no no. You can create tens of thousands of volts when peeling off the tape, which can potentially fry chips on the board or make latent defects, which are terrible because the motherboard stops working some short time in the future. Try to keep the tape localized to the section with the "E", and use aluminum foil around it to catch overspray.

    lookin' good, jay!
    about the bend for the cpu-tube, i would have placed above the top card or below the bottom one.
    imo the best way to make it look slightly better than it already looks!

    I built a computer for someone over the past couple of days with a coolmaster VM2 or whatever it's called. Exact same issue. Couldn't get the graphics card out. BUT! This is not all. The graphics card blocked the latch for the DIMM slots and I was using one of my own DIMMs as the ones for this rig hadn't arrived. So long story short, I feel you bro.
