wooooo Boreal! holy smokes, thank you so much for this super like!! this is the biggest tip this channel has ever seen. really really appreciate your support and that money will go right back in the pot to help keep making these videos for you. Thank you again, made this little skotes day!
Wow, I can’t imagine the emotions that must of been felt when you separated. But there was no doubt in my mind you would continue. That’s what brought me to your channel several years ago, your never quit attitude when you were met with challenges. You have introduced us to some very cool people but Adam seems to be a real solid guy. I certainly hope you two collaborate again in the future. Matty watching from Illinois US. Keep on keeping on!
ehhh man thank you, hello form Newfoundland down to Illinois! and yes Adam is the man, there is no doubt at all that we will be doing many more adventures in the future. I could not ask for a better partner to tackle the biggest trips than him. Really appreciate your comment and stoked to have you on board this entire time. Really really appreciate your support
OMG Matty, what an emotional, heartbreaking and challenging time. You had brave determination to go it alone. I admire your courage. Incredible adventure!!
Oh my goodness buddy, Adam must have been devastated!! I honestly didn't know if you were going to continue or not but you are.... what unbelievable courage!! I can't wait for the next installment in your Arctic exploration video series.....Oh, I bet they were the best toutons you've tasted in a long time! Godspeed my friend, Godspeed!
Hi Matt , I've been watching you're videos for a few years now. You're the real deal when it comes to outdoor survival. I love your videos and admire your courage. Best wishes to you 😊
yes it really was a mental test being stuck in one place for so long. worst part is most of my recreation things like books had all been left with Adam to save the weight. basically all I had was my old iPod and audio books
Good stuff Matty. I’m a little bit of a physically broken man now because I never quit when the going got tough, but I’ll take the pain for the awesome memories that made me who I am. You will never regret those tough decisions to keep going, you would regret not keepin on. That is what separates the men from the boys. Cheers man.
Amen to that Boreal, the tough times is what shapes us the most. hard to sit back at the end of the day with any regrets if you truly believe you left it all out there and gave it your best. thank you again for your support ❤️
Amazing. So much respect for you both. As we passed camping Island many weeks later, Eileen and I spoke about you being trapped there and what it must have been like.
hey Andrew. it was something that's for sure. You are one of the few watching this that can understand what it was like up there. You are a machine sir, I tip my hat to you.
Going from a two person expedition to solo must have been an extremely challenging mental hurdle to overcome! I've done so on multi day hikes and it's hard enough lol
On man, this video ended way too soon! Haha! My heart broke for you both having to separate but I knew you could and would carry on alone. What an epic adventure and am sooo looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for sharing. :) :)I
naw thanks Jacqueline! it was too soon wasn't it lol like I've said in other comments, there will be a full length documentary produced for this trip that will be out later this year. that one will really go below the surface and get into the nitty gritty
You a mad man Matty lol. Sick o boat brother. Love the boom stick she’s pretty. Keep her close buddy Them white bears are hungry. Hurry with the next episode please :). Gambo out ✌🏻
Love the videos, love your environment, too bad on your buddy , had to leave with shoulder issues. I understand you’re in a tough environment and it is difficult with the camera but try to make your videos longer. Safe travels.
copy that Andrew, thanks for taking the time to watch. just to let you no.. there will be a full length documentry on this trip coming out later this year. its being produced by a production company so it will be on a whole other level compared to this little series.
Appreciate that but its not all about the numbers. I truly enjoy making these videos and sharing them with you all. no complaints around here! thanks for your support
So cool! I found your channel/journey because one of your friends dropped the link on Facebook. That is quite the journey and excited to see how it continues to play out. Random question but curious, how are you cooking? Is it by fire or are you using some sort of gas?
glad to have you aboard then! we have a multi fuel stove. it pretty much works like a normal gas burner, except it has a fuel tank that you can add pretty much what ever fuel you want, from diesel to kerosine. they work great. ours was an MSR brand
Thanks!

Sorry to see Adam leave the journey. Glad you where able to keep going but doing it alone sucks (even though we know you can be a lone wolf Matty)!
this really was the hardest part of the entire journey, leaving Adam on the beach that day
What a shame Adam had to throw in the towel. Be safe out there.
the biggest blow, we were both pretty torn up about this. how it goes on an expedition though. just have to roll with it

thanks for watching!
Is that a dragonfly stove? It really cuts through the silence. I’ve rocked one for years. Two settings, off and volcano 😂
I don't know how you slept seeing those bear tracks in the sand!
with one eye opened lol
What happened to your travel mate, Adam?
👍🏻👍🏻🤞🏻
❤️

Thanks!
Much love from friendly manitoba! ❤
