I upgraded my sons computer to make it a windows 11 compatible computer and following this video using Rufus to create the Windows install disk I think it made the process of installing windows so much easier than using the Microsoft media creation disk. Thanks for the video!!
Thank you for the video Carey! Last night I was up until 5 am trying to figure out how to reactivate my windows after using the update assistant to upgrade to 24h2 on my beelink
@@CareyHolzman I after digging into the registry to find the backup key and a few cmds in cmd / run… found out that it was a a volume mak license, and from what I could find left me with the only option to reach out to beelink or purchase my own key. Fortunately I sent them an email at 4:30am and they responded within minutes with a new key. However I was told by them to not share the key with anybody or it could put my system at risk. Not sure what that means, but it was interesting for me. I’d love to hear more about the subject from you, as you are THE man. I have been watching your videos since I was 13 (25 now).
Its not the ISO that does that. Its that you are connected to the internet while you are installing, it does a check for updates during the install. If you disconnected from the internet while doing your install, you'd find there are many updates waiting after the install has finished and you have connected back to the internet.
I just want to know one thing. Do you need to perform a clean install or will the update come via windows updates? I have a 13500 in HP prebuilt but after I performed all the updates still no update from 23H2 to 24H2.
Carey, we had a bad Hurricane last week in east central Georgia. It was pretty bad I am running on my phone plugged to USB. I would not get the Wi-Fi to work. I think the USB is faster anyway. It is a Total Wireless Moto 5 G something. Total Wireless runs off Verizon and Verizon does not offer 5 G in my area. They say they do but they don't they lied. Anyway, my main Cell phone is through Cricket, and it has 5 G. But by the time the signal gets to my phone it's not a full 5G. This is a hot mess Fiber Optic lines are down everywhere, and they just got Fiber here.
You get about 3 days of free use until that watermark appears. I typically activate the machines after the live video or the day after. I just have not had time to do it yet and have since used the computer in follow-up videos.
It needs to be clarified that the support is only for the Keys and Activation, not the general Windows support that Microsoft gives when you pay the full price.

first time I've actually seen your PC builds with the "Activate Windows" watermark.....
