Hey man. I'm the systems administrator at a small government facility (less than 100 endpoints) and have been using your utility for over a year now. We can't really justify the cost of some of the bigger management tools so I end up doing a lot of stuff manually when deploying new machines. Your utility has been a life saver and I've used it on probably 60 deployments in the past year. I REALLY appreciate your work and I'm a big fan of your channel.

I've run his utility on some new computers last year and it set off the alarms (IT alarms lol). My bosses were asking me what i did lmao. I told them it was legit, but the VP of IT said "lets use tools we've vetted" blah blah.
I work in the hotel industry, so we have shit ALL OVER the place, sensor-wise. I can't use it on our network. I'm sad.

I had an epiphany this week about the ethos of each major OS. I think this sums up how people get locked into each one:
Windows (ideally) = broad, top-down power user control, messy if consistent enough for users at most experience levels to get around
Windows (in practice) = sloppy, dictative control as predicted by Microsoft, shoehorning together the experiences of basic and power users... we all know how that's worked out
Mac OS = stripped-down, tucked-away control, intended to reduce drudgery/busywork of computing to automated processes or muscle memory gestures (e.g. drag+drop, swiping, etc.)
Linux = DIY, built-up control, depending on the distro could be extremely intensive to straightforward (I'm a dirty Mint casual myself)

I'm pleased with the chocolatey option available for installations. I don't know why, but I often encounter various errors during fresh installs, which sometimes leads to frequent reinstalls of winget, resulting in functions like "upgrade all" not working well, or even not working at all in some cases. I have recommended this tool to friends, family, and other admins at my job, many of whom end up put off because of this. So, it's great to have an alternative.

I can see some of the people haven't had the need to install windows to tens of machines. at the same time.
The reason OP asks this is simple; This way you can create and ISO, With the desired tweaks, that can be installed onto multiple machines, making them ready to be used as intended.
At this time you need to run the tool, Choose the preferences and double check it, reboot the system. this takes likely 3 to 5 minutes, meaning per 10 devices it takes op 30 to 50 minutes of work.
To mitigate this you COULD create an ISO of one system, and install that to the rest of it, but then it defeats the purpose of using MicroWin to begin with as you could have done everything after installing windows and making that ISO afterwards.
I think this feature would work wonders for certain people for sure.

I will just stick with it since I only use it for gaming now until I move places get better internet and a bit more time to set up everything with your WinUtil. What a godsend! You and contributors have done an insanely amazing job.
Edit: Question, with the "new" microwin ISO, do we not need to do the "worldwide" trick anymore and such when setting it up?

This is amazing, this is having Windows 11 without the bloat as Chris says as I've seen a lot of people want to get Windows 11 LTSC. You don't have to if you don't want to.
    Thanks, Chris!

Oh heck yeah I have GOT to try that ISO creator! It would be nice if it would have the option to auto apply all the currently selected tweaks on install But I LOVE everything I see. Fantastic job Titus, thank you 😁

Hi Chris, I'm Don from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm one of your subscribers, fans and learners. I thank you for all your hard work, effort, and time for doing this. I've been following you since 2017, sincerely you have inspired me and still till today. I'm no longer a computer illiterate dude and able to manage and understand my machine ability well.
Usually I have no problem with tweaking and fixing my PC, but this time as i was running windows tool doing standard tweaking on my HP 14 laptop, it got stuck with error 362 and repeating that same task many times (plus waiting for 30 mins for more than 45 minutes).
I'm not sure what to do. I'm hoping that I won't get any ideas before getting advice from you.

Your tool has improved so much! Very well done! Should I need to reïnstall windows at somepoint I should remember to use Microwin, it looks incredible.
Though, so far, I have no need to do so sadly.. but seeing this tool makes me want to do it anyhow.

Thank you for your Windows install videos! I've been watching them getting ready for a new PC build after 7 years. In your older videos you suggested deferring non-security Windows updates as long as possible. Is this still something you suggest? Won't connecting to the internet to download your script also let Windows run updates immediately on a fresh install?

Brand new to this Utility, but so far VERY useful. Two things I was curious about, 1) Will this tool eliminate the whole Windows Explorer hesitation to load issue? Sometimes takes 30 seconds or longer to load what's in Explorer. And 2) Can this tool be used so that you don't have to put a fresh install on my desktop? I don't want to lose most of the programs or go through the tedious task of reinstalling all the programs that I use on a, say Weekly basis. That takes the better part of a day.

I think it would take microwin to another level if there are plans to integrate options from the tweaks and install section that gets added to a first logon script. That would make it mass deployment a breeze
