Why doesn't the California Governor have the national guard help out our Fire Fighters. The fires need to be under control. The fire fighters are doing an awesome job. The fire fighters have been working hard to help save lives and homes. Come Governor, let's give our fire fighters some help.
Wildland fire crews can't stop enough fire to make a dent in a 400,000 acre wild fire. They need air support from the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, U.S. Navy and any other un used resource that is standing by and doing nothing to suppress the 5th biggest fire in California history known as the Park Fire.
Good luck getting a new insurance policie on your rural rebuild.....insurance companies are pulling out of the California rural markets....if you cant insure.....you cant live there.....its another way to force you to move back to a city
They said it correct, alot of dead and fallen trees to give fuel we are not actively cleaning up the forest like we used to, this type of fire will happen more and more, arson or not, since we dont manage the forest, this happens,
It isn't just forest care bud. Climate change is a thing. It's getting progressively hotter EVERY SUMMER than the previous summer. No amount of forest care will do anything at this point. When it's 110+ and climbing every summer forest management isn't the sole problem.
Why is it possible to lay pipelines for gas and oil around the world, but not pipelines to transport water for extinguishing fires? The water would already be there to extinguish fires and would not have to be transported in insufficient quantities by airplanes. And if there are already pipelines, there are too few and they are not sufficiently positioned. Why is there no money for this?
Is it possible to extinguish a fire after it has started? Can we use water or other means to control and suppress the flames? There have been some promising developments and advancements, but we must continue to explore and innovate. Why can't we leverage technology to address this issue? It is not solely attributable to climate change. Could we consider utilizing seawater as a potential resource for firefighting purposes? Given that Hawaii is surrounded by water, it seems feasible to invest in pumps that can draw water from the ocean and direct it towards extinguishing the flames. This approach could potentially mitigate the risk of fires and enhance community safety.
No, this is what happens when you get rising temperatures every summer consecutively for the past 15 years. The poor forest management is just the cherry on top.
The highs here in the summer of 07-08 were 101 102. Now our highs are 112 113. This isn't just forest management. There will come a point where it's so hot that it doesn't matter how often you manage forest, because the second you leave and new brush falls off a tree it's already dry and ready to go up in flames as if it had sat there for months unattended.

Absolutely correctly. But most insurance companies started to cancel their policies in 2020. So these people will apply for FEMA aid. The taxpayers will be forking over money so they can live their dream.
I'm not sure selling a burnt house in the "rural" foothills will get you more than a 3/2 crackerbox in most other states either....but it might be the push to get many of the undesirable inherently anti-social people to move to places that are concentrating and cleaving away their non-productive, reactionary peers from a society that wants to work to better the social contract rather than avoid it.
God be with all the firefighters!!!

I think she and the scared kids both care, which is the important part. kind of difficult to make a stream of bad news 'refreshing'

It’s amazing we can’t manage the forest area prior but we can spend billions after

I was scratching my head with that one, too.
Building fire roads for access of men and equipment .

they're cancelling fire coverage everywhere even in the not so isolated communities.
Mad stuff, fire fighters brave

President Trump told Newsom to do this in 2018 right after the Paradise Camp Fire happened. 6 years later, nothing.

Use commercial ionizers to help combat the fires! Use power inverters on a flat bed or something. Worked before.

Chinese Communist Party bot. China has lost 8% of its forested areas to wildfires over the last 20 years.
Thats some African stuff

They all PROFIT from every single fire.
