    Have u heard of 4-7-8 breathing? I believe it was Dr. Andrew Weil who developed the conept. I find for me this really helps

      I have! I have used that in the past. I've found when I'm REALLY distracted, the counting really helps. But sometimes that prevents me from getting really into a thoughtless groove so sometime I just focus on slow deep breaths with a longer exhale and forget about the numbers. Regardless, great way to refocus!

      @@freshrn I love your channel Btw. Ive been a nurse for 17 years, and the last few years, I've really embraced the leadership role such as mentoring younger nurses, education, etc. Your channel was provided me with countless pearls of wisdom!

      Any recommendations on best resource for a new pediatric ICU nurse? I'm a super anxious nurse but it's starting to finally feel better after 3 months
