Nope. I think because I eventually just started wrapping the very top and pulling the rest of the braid through with the hook it prevented that. I think the wrapping process loosens the loc so it's better to just pull through.
asiatanae another way to keep the hair from coming out and the locs from becoming loose is jus to twist the loc tight and then put the blow dryer on high hot heat and blow the hair while it is tight and it'll stay due to it being synthetic. It's similar to putting the hair in hot water and letting it set

How long did this take
My locs tend to stick together . Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Are you using Bobbi Boss locs? I haven’t had any problems with them sticking together.

I think it might be the wrapping because I cant wrap them tightly bc my hair is long underneath so itll show

Can you do this on Caucasian hair?
Not sure if they would hold, but maybe with the right spritz or gel to keep the braid intact.
