I loved my Nu Locs crochets. I had them installed Jan-Feb and the longer you keep them in the more realistic the hair becomes. I have fine frizzy hair, so faux locs are my go-to style.

My hack is, don’t remove the hair from the yellow string in the package . Just side your crochet hook into the hole made by the string and WHALLAH! It was sooo much more easier than trying to find the hole.

did my hair in single braids just so I could do this but I love the natural look so I got these dreads. for the life of me I couldn't find a tutorial for them cause I thought it wasn't hollow. you just saved me from taking them back lol. THANK YOU!!!

OK . you look amazing with his hairstyle, I was i so excited. I purchase them and they were exactly the quality you said. Even though I had to go to 3 separate stores to purchase them because everyone were sold out lol BUT I have to say I'm disappointed this method does not work these locks are not "hollow" I spent 3 hours working Just the Wrapping part and I actually know how to do hair. When you unravel it and put it back around it does not just roll back over it looks frizzy and unkempt like you have old dreads. And it takes out the little wave and it's just super straight at the top. I ended up having to just crochet the front before I messed up any more dreads and these packs of hair are not cheap. I love the hair but I hate when videos make it seem like Something is when it is not. Good news is I maneuvered it enought and it looked really great when I finished. But method could you some revamping.

I’m a little confused with wrapping my hair around the crochet loc, what about when I get to the end of my hair do I just stop wrapping? Will it stay? I couldn’t see how you kept it secured

how did you get an even blend with the different colors? i also ordered three different colors but don't know how to place them so that the blend looks effortless and natural.

Did your locs stick together a lot? I had that issue with mine and it made me not enjoy wearing them.
Is it heavy when you put it up in a ponytail or bun
And easier way is to just pull the braid through the hollow of the loc so it's completely tucked away.
I HAVE NATURAL LOCS, BUT UNDERSTAND. THESE ARE FAB!! SUGGESTION. YOU SAID THAT YOU WISH THEY WERE LONGER. JUST ADD A LOC TO THE END. TO ENSURE THAT IT WON'T FALL OFF, JUST DO A LIGHT STITCH IN AN X PATTERN TO CAMOUFLAGE THE THREAD. EXPERIMENT. GOOD LUCK
