I have YET to see anyone post a video with them removing Faux Locs!! How do you remove them?? The knot at the base and all that wrapping terrifies me! Lol
Cut it. Cut as far up as you can go without cutting your actual hair. The cut will mess with the wrap and it should come off pretty easily. However, be warned, it takes a while still.
I don’t recommend tying the knot. You can take the hair to the base of the braid (leaving about an inch hanging). Take the hanging piece and hold it against the braid and start wrapping the rest of hair down around the extra piece. This will secure the lock without the knot! Easier to take out as well(:

love both looks especially if you dont have time. you can rock the box braids for a couple days and then proceed with the loc install.
I absolutely LOVE the suggestion of knitting the hair at the root and the ends to secure it! I’m definitely trying that technique.

Try crochet faux locks, they are just looped around a corn row.
