Good overview of this little device. I've been very intrigued, just having a hard time pulling the trigger with the price tag! I will agree though that trying to send messages from the FT500 or FT5D is not super fun! 73s

I would buy this If I had the funds, seems like a very neat and compact device with several features.
It's a sweet gadget, makes APRS a lot more useful, especially without a lot of digipeater or igate coverage in different areas.
The pico is pretty cool.
While a great idea, that is about 4x what the price should be for no antenna, no extra battery, and not waterproof.
Look at the price of Meshtastic WisBlock based devices.
Looks interesting, but then I saw the price was £298.54, that is just a little bit cheaper than an FT-5DE!
Yeah, it ain't cheap, but it is extremely useful.

400 bucks and doesnt come with an antenna? dang man thats high dollar I wish i could afford one but out of my price range for that little thing. Would be so scared of loosing it its so small.

It's cool but physically too small for my OM eyes. Also, I'll lose it and it ain't cheap.
However, I wouldn't mind a free sample if they sent me one.😊

I have absolutly no idea what you just said, there where so many letters & abreviations that i was uanble to watch it all. I still dont even know what it does.
