It’s more the time it takes - like I said most radios either seem to poll in the background or make their minds up instantly. This’un takes a while compared to my other DMR handsets but I should have been clearer.
Nice video man... i like your style. I have one of these... so far i cant make it work. I know there is some version of *turn off the radio...press menu and some other button... turn on... I wonder what other weird menu combos there are?

Dude that’s 100% what I’m trying to do. Too many forgot this is a _hobby_ and I didn’t want to make another “I’ve seen sent an x, let me read the spec sheet to you whilst I hold it against a white background” type video. This comment means a lot as at least to one person I’ve accomplished my goal 👍

Not tried the HG2 mate but if it’s built like the HD1 you have nothing to fear. I’ll put it on my list to buy and review but don’t wait on me! I don’t know what your use case is, but I don’t think anything badged as Ailunce is bad. Thanks for commenting mate. Andy :)
Yeah, although I do have another suggestion but you’ll have to wait for a few weeks but there’s something between the 1701 and HD1(2) that’s probably better than both if you can put up with a bit of an annoying fault! Thanks again for the comment @Menta2kGaming 🙂

Beware, these batteries do not have balancers in them, A lot of my batteries started to severely become unbalanced
