I got a Grom Typhon as my first RC and I fell in love with it. I couldn’t believe how fast and in control that thing is straight out of the box. Makes me want to get the new 1/8 Typhon.
Ya those input gears sneak up on ya. I think the most overlooked thing in RC. And the first time we deal with it, we swear we've touched all the diffs chasing that sucker. And it be one tooth squared off at first. 🤣
I hear ya brother, it's always a pain!.... on the same rig I literally just replaced all the gifts and I just finished bashing her for the first time since changing all the dips just now and I'm still hearing bad noises and now I'm thinking it must be the input here in the front now yeah just like you said it's like you're chasing a gremlin around the freaking RC. @3SonsRC if the front and your running and hit the brakes you will hear the Grind as well. Not only driving. The rear you won't hear so much in braking as you do on throttle. 🤙 First Way I check to see which one. If It does it on the brakes I'll check front first.

Duratrax lockup 2.8 belted. Unfortunately Duratrax is no more. Sicks they were the best cheapish belted tire option out there. Big fan of Method RC Tires but yeah there a sponsor so I like them regardless of that. The Corally Skeeter tires are really good but not belted so not near the durability. Correction I noticed my intro.... Those are actually the proline badlands 1173. Tgere hard to find now days, not belted, there fantastic but I'd use them on the regular Typhon, not the xl
My durability tests are longevity IUltimately besides fun and having a sexy new rig that arrma tuned for platform, typhons are the best in performance and longevity. I regret not starting with m2 chassis with my daily . I’ve worn 3 sets HR hubs truggified typhons a lot hours of run time . The other guys aren’t as reliable once get to the dog days 😂 . You think arrma going drop new versions of there line up
