Yeah man I absolutely agree as a buggy and stock tires and handles amazingly but not the best and absolutely rough train nowadays I run her with 2.8 inch tires truggafied seems to be the way to go for my style bashing this also gives me more rotational mass for air control. , appreciate your time and comment brother I hope you're enjoying the channel see you around bud

@3SonsRC sketer tyres are on my rig but keep ripping apart unfortunately..they are made for 4s ...lm about to try dboots fortress 6s ...l here they do well on Asuga

Should do well, the stock tires are almost as big. I'm now using the Skeeter tires or Duratrax Lockup 2.8 (discontinued) I like the 2.8 or smaller size to truggafi the rig, the Talion tires are almost MT size but I'm sure still fun, problem is with tires that size you'd probably have to add wider arms or hub extenders because taller tires that close to the body would make it unstable. BUT the stock tires probably handle better than any of the options I just mentioned, they just lack for air control and because of size there not the Best for really rough terrain, but even in the rough they handle surprisingly well to be fair. @3SonsRC if the front and your running and hit the brakes you will hear the Grind as well. Not only driving. The rear you won't hear so much in braking as you do on throttle. 🤙 First Way I check to see which one. If It does it on the brakes I'll check front first.

Duratrax lockup 2.8 belted. Unfortunately Duratrax is no more. Sicks they were the best cheapish belted tire option out there. Big fan of Method RC Tires but yeah there a sponsor so I like them regardless of that. The Corally Skeeter tires are really good but not belted so not near the durability. Correction I noticed my intro.... Those are actually the proline badlands 1173. Tgere hard to find now days, not belted, there fantastic but I'd use them on the regular Typhon, not the xl

The ADU Center diff cover comes with a 3d printed cover for the Spur, the pinion is still exposed but that's not a big deal IMHO, plenty of rigs are like this, every Arrma rig, it's fine. Just have good wire management and don't allow your wires and battery cables to just flop around. Hope you are enjoying the channel brother, see ya round

This is an older video, so unless you have the old v1 RPM arms for Arrma (that IMHO are better than v2) then this is not relevant today. RPM had v1 Arrma arms that for a while we're not changed when Arrma came out with the v4 and later chassis and the droop tabs on the chassis were changed. So for like 1.5 years if you had the newer chassis your RPM arms were really not compatible, this was a half fix, but if you have the normal RPM arms being sold today (v2) then this info does not matter. I don't brother, sorry, I've had to change my living situation and that Hurricane Helene messed up my home town of Augusta so been out of it. I'm wanting to do a tire test, I have Brand New Akill slopes, both sets of Method RC, Badlands, TIT racing Nobbies. But I'm trying to get a Max5 G2 in there before the test because it's probably gonna need that OVER the Firma 160 stock ESC. To be honest it might not be till early next year 😔😔 I WANT TO brother, she's starting at me but life has got a hold of me right now.

Yes all my rigs have M2C pistons with Bladderless ZRS M2C setup, and the Kraton 8s has the 7mm shafts and piston kits

Mega Kraton is where it's at but honestly I'm trying not to spend any money on RC now days, just minimum for repairs, but I am swapping to max5 G2 on a few rigs but that won't cost much because I will sell the old stuff. But yeah man heard the max 4 makes it handle like a 6s.
