Their shows are magical exactly because of that reason. We all feel that way. The first time I saw them here in Amsterdam it was amazing. Everyone was singing along and just putting so much emotion into it. I was there with a friend that didn't know the band and after the show, she told me that it was the first time ever she'd seen a band and thought "god I wish I knew the lyrics to join in with the whole crowd singing for the entire concert". it was amazing.
Seeing the effort they put into making their living room into a work of art inspired me Everytime I watch this and makes me wish I were better at painting.
And in morning time I feel like the colours match their parts so well like their instrument/parts of the song and the camera pans to each colour/vibe at the perfect moment ahhhhhh
Pinegrove.... Don't you just want to hug these kids? The songs are so brilliant.. lyrically.. the pacing.. the choice of instrumentation.. the subtle placement of supporting vocals.. the masterful use of dynamics.. and now this brilliant video.. My eyes tear up.. and I just feel thankful that this music exists.. and that there are people like this making a forthright statement that songwriting is still relevant, acoustic music can be powerful and that art still matters and still transcends.. my heart bursts..
First off, Whoever did the mixing, bravo! This sounds fantastic. Second, Evan and Nandi's voices sound so perfect together, just a perfectly matched harmony!
No drugs is one of the most beautifully honest and relatable songs I've ever heard. It's so heartfelt, melancholic and raw, it feels like someone laid out my thoughts clearer than I could ever think them.
Just getting into this band... they really grow on you. Can't get some of these out of my head. It's the extremely solid lyricism + good music theory and execution + interesting and unexpected little melodic things. Kind of an enigma. Lyrically remind me of Bon Iver / Decemberists / Gems on VHS stuff, but musically has almost a midwest emo and country vibe mixed with folk and indie. Really really really good music. Seems like a magic happens when they are in-person that is even better than the studio stuff.

This is the best album i've heard in years, the mix is perfect, the guitars dance together better than top level bands. The drums are powerful but companion, the bass sharp and the voice sweet. This is some kind of indie rock with some flavour of progressive, absolutely great. Here in Chile this band could easily fill arenas, we love this kind of music. Greetings from the end of the world. Hope to see you here when this COVID garbage ends.
How is it actually possible to create such phenomenal music? I was blessed to have the opportunity to support Pinegrove back in 2015 for a couple of shows and they were the kindest , welcoming and most inspiring band. I still feel blessed to this day.
In my mind…this is the best set since I seen Death Cab live for the first time. Good lord where was this kid all along! Hell, all of them are crazy lol just phenomenal!!!! Lyrics, riffs, vibes, Melodie’s! Everything could not be more perfect!
The best video on RUclips for me, hands down. Can't stop listening to them, can't believe they aren't more popular, the have spoiled every other band for me because all I can think about is how good the pinegrove guitar sounds when compared. What I thought was an unstoppable force actually came to an end, so let's just enjoy the music they have out. I love you guys

The details in both the lyrics and instruments, it's crazy how amazing they sound together and how everyone in the video is kind of high with their own energy and dynamic
I am French and I have known this group for not long (less than 3 years) and for me it is currently the best group on the American indie scene. It sometimes makes me think of Sulfan Steven too. The melodies, the arrangements, the groove, everything is excellent. And above all the most important thing for me: they know how to sound live! not a false note, not a weakness in the voices. They are all great musicians who deserve to be even more known!
This is how I stumbled on Pinegrove. Marigold was my album of the year in 2021. Then I discovered more of their discography and instantly fell in love with their old stuff. Pinegrove did something that almost seemed impossible. This topped even the Audiotree live set.

Man, yes. Screaming, crying and snorting with a smile on my face. They make me feel I’m not alone with my loneliness.
