I've never replayed a video on youtube as many times as I've played this one.
Still think Nandi's harmonies are one of my favorite things about Pinegrove. Her voice is just honey with Evan's, elevates every line.
I agree, it sucks that she's not on their full-time line up anymore.

@@mccay6433 GOOD ADVICE! If expressing yourself in a musical/otherwise poetic way is your dream, just keep working at it! I can't stand when people try to act like it should come easy if you're supposed to be doing it. That's not how it works. It takes a lot of practice and perseverance. But it's ABSOLUTELY attainable if it's what you really want.

Pinegrove is the only band that make me want to passionately belt out their lyrics whilst crying my eyes out like a blubbering mess.
Their shows are magical exactly because of that reason. We all feel that way. The first time I saw them here in Amsterdam it was amazing. Everyone was singing along and just putting so much emotion into it. I was there with a friend that didn't know the band and after the show, she told me that it was the first time ever she'd seen a band and thought "god I wish I knew the lyrics to join in with the whole crowd singing for the entire concert". it was amazing.

Seeing the effort they put into making their living room into a work of art inspired me Everytime I watch this and makes me wish I were better at painting.

This version of Skylight has become my favorite song of all time.
On Jet Lag never resonated with me until this version, but now it's gotta be top 5 for me
No drugs is one of the most beautifully honest and relatable songs I've ever heard. It's so heartfelt, melancholic and raw, it feels like someone laid out my thoughts clearer than I could ever think them.

The songs are so brilliant.. lyrically.. the pacing.. the choice of instrumentation.. the subtle placement of supporting vocals.. the masterful use of dynamics..

My eyes tear up.. and I just feel thankful that this music exists.. and that there are people like this making a forthright statement that songwriting is still relevant, acoustic music can be powerful and that art still matters and still transcends.. my heart bursts..
I've watched this so many times and it's always such a profound experience for me. It never fails to put me in a certain, unexplainable mood.

Second, Evan and Nandi's voices sound so perfect together, just a perfectly matched harmony!

I still haven't recovered from that face melting solo by Nick in Morningtime. The video of that is truly awe inspiring.

How is it actually possible to create such phenomenal music? I was blessed to have the opportunity to support Pinegrove back in 2015 for a couple of shows and they were the kindest , welcoming and most inspiring band. I still feel blessed to this day.

Just discovered Pinegrove thru a friend, she showed me this video last Saturday night..... My heart is warm and in love with all of their songs. The details in both the lyrics and instruments, it's crazy how amazing they sound together and how everyone in the video is kind of high with their own energy and dynamic

My God. The way colours are used to tie everyone to room is breathtaking. So intricate. Nothing is accidental here.

This is how I stumbled on Pinegrove. Marigold was my album of the year in 2021. Then I discovered more of their discography and instantly fell in love with their old stuff. Both "Moment" and "Aphasia" are songs that will always hit a certain nerve within me. Thank you for your art and sincerity. I hope a lot more people find you guys and fall in love with your songs as much as I did!

They play much older than they are. Master weavers of sound and rhythm. I look forward to what they mature into. They remind me of Uncle Tupelo which I still lament the passing of.
I didn’t regret one second of the 1 hour, 20 minutes and 18 seconds I just spent experiencing this. Authentically gorgeous sound!
I've just realised I tense my whole body every time Evan sings the high notes on 'On Jet Lag', like my body is willing him on to hit them. He always does of course.

I love when a band isnt afraid of a loud bass
I am French and I have known this group for not long (less than 3 years) and for me it is currently the best group on the American indie scene. It sometimes makes me think of Sulfan Steven too. The melodies, the arrangements, the groove, everything is excellent. And above all the most important thing for me: they know how to sound live! not a false note, not a weakness in the voices. They are all great musicians who deserve to be even more known!
This is the best album i've heard in years, the mix is perfect, the guitars dance together better than top level bands. The drums are powerful but companion, the bass sharp and the voice sweet. This is some kind of indie rock with some flavour of progressive, absolutely great. Here in Chile this band could easily fill arenas, we love this kind of music. Greetings from the end of the world. Hope to see you here when this COVID garbage ends.

Just here to appreciate how absolutely impeccably they've managed to color their space sonically AND visually. On top of that, they've managed to craft an incredible soundproofed, acoustically treated environment all without compromising aesthetic. These mofos are ARTISTS.
There's nothing even remotely negative I could ever say about this other than that I kinda really wish they had done "Rings". Luckily, this is so amazing that I got over that immediately lol..
