Aaaw it's the postage that kills it, about $120-$150 of my journal price is postage alone internationally. If I could afford to make them for less I absolutely would! I am thinking about making some simpler journals at a lower price, maybe with an embellished cover as usual, ephemera pieces, but mostly blank pages. That would definitely cut down the 90 hours or so it takes me to make them, Let me know what you think 😊

Thank you! I have this velvet fabric that is multi colored and a bit of an eyesore for me, it's on a blue background and has pink and red roses, the red rose has been fussy cut from that 😆

Absolutely beautiful and inspiring. I love the way you use gelli -print pages, so that they can actually be used. Some are ghastly because people mix up a ton of colours on them and they look awful. Far better to be more discriminating and use a limited palette and images so that they look lovely in a hand-made journal (sorry, refuse to call them 'junk' journals). Thank you (Diane, England).
Organised? 😆 organised chaos! 😆 I have a couple of shoe boxes where I keep all my original ephemera, one I made little folio pockets for and the other I used index cards to seperate. The larger things or one offs are just stashed in another box. When I know the colour or theme I need I have a rummage and pull things out and put them in an L pocket. I don't think this will help you much but I hope something strolikes a chord ❤️❤️❤️

But I lived in wellington 12years and I know how expensive and raided the opshops are down there so I highly recommend a day trip to Paraparaumu, Levin for the day! Shhhhh don't tell anyone 🤣🩷
