My understanding is that no one who believes the Gospel and gets saved during the Tribulation can't take the mark of the beast since ALL who take the MOTB spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (REVELATION 20:4) and we know that no saved person will ever spend even one single solitary second in the Lake of Fire. Do you agree? Someone told me you have taught that believers can take the MOTB and still go to heaven...

I know it is but a lecture and I know it's not exactly fair to say, but it's funny that I almost feel robbed by his missing wallet. The wallet got me some time ago. I am 48. I was believing I was saved from my rapture dream at 7yo but was in a puddled mess sobbing how I couldn't be good enough therefore I was really feeling quite mortal. It was around this time that I found the wallet truth and the truth of Biblical Cosmology and a deep understanding of how to win souls when walking through public places as by products of the TRUTH has shown so many confirmations that He is who He says He is. The wallet is, in my opinion, the best presentation of the gospel visually.

"THAT DAY" is very clearly defined by the benchmark already set in verse 1: When he comes for us!
This has never happened before except for a few in the Old Testament!

I was always taught that the word apostasia means falling away, so, this was the first time I've heard it explained as departure, as in the departure of the Saints at the rapture, that's given me something to think about.
Andy Woods gives a great explanation of it in his teaching video series on the rapture. It means a physical departure, not spiritual. Spiritual departure has been going on for centuries.
I certainly believe in pre-tribulation rapture. However, if you read KJ Bible, you will know for sure the “falling away” CAN’T be the rapture.
@@jk11222 As long as we are saved that is the most important thing we can all agree on. However in the KJ bible "falling away" comes from the Greek word apostisia , which has 2 meanings. One is a spiritual departure, the other is a physical departure. As we read in the NT we see spiritual departure happening as long ago as 2000 yrs. So logic tells us the falling away , apostasy, is a physical departure.. To me it makes much more sense. Anyway, thats where I am and hope to be true. we certainly dont want to be here when satan goes bonkers and the judgements upon the earth fall.
If we read the KJ Bible, you will see the “falling away” CAN’T be the rapture and “the day of Christ” and the day of the Lord AREN’T the same.
Philippians 2:16. Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Here, “the day of Christ” surely refers to the day Paul will rejoice for not running nor had laboured in vain. This day CAN’T be the tribulation or the day of the Lord at the end of the tribulation.
It certainly refers to the rapture wherein Paul will REJOICE. When else will we as well as Paul rejoice? Only the rapture is the day of rejoicing as it’s our much awaited blessed hope.
Now, as the “day of Christ” is the rapture, then, the “falling away”:CAN’T be the rapture or else, 2Thess 2:3 won’t make sense.
2 Thessalonians 2:3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
When we replace the day of Christ with the rapture, then 2 Thess 2:3 will be like 👇🏼
... the day of Christ (rapture) shall not come, except there come a falling away (the rapture) first...
It sure doesn’t make sense. So, the “falling away” has to mean the DEPARTURE from TRUTH which is the mystery of iniquity that began in the first century and it’s waxing worse and worse till he that let it happen be taken away at the rapture.
Check out all three instances of “the day of Christ” in KJ Bible. Other English versions change the day of Christ to the day of the Lord in 2 Thess 2:2. If you cross reference with the Greek, it’s the same word in all three verses.

I would like to explain how and why I believe the falling away can’t refer to the rapture by using scripture. I have just given the first reason. There is another reason which I can explain to prove the falling away definitely refers to the departure from truth using 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
Anyway, I just put forward my view and understanding from reading the KJ Bible. You can surely disagree. You are right. As long as we are saved, we are saved from wrath.

Those who hold to a midtribulation rapture teach that the seventh trumpet of Revelation 11:15 and the last trumpet of 1 Corinthians 15:52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16 are identical. Those who teach a pretribulation rapture identify them as separate events. What difference does it make, and how can we know the truth?
Why does it matter whether or not the trumpets are the same? God has given us His Word as the revelation of His plan of redemption, and that plan covers everything from creation to the new creation. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” There are many things that God has chosen to reveal to us, and it is important for us to understand them so that we can obey Him. We don’t always understand why He does things, but we are called to trust Him for the parts we don’t understand and to study to understand the rest. As we look at the texts about these trumpets, it becomes clear that they are part of a chronology that God has given us of events in the last days. Whether or not we are still living when those events come to pass, they involve us, so we ought to know what God has revealed to us.
The book of Revelation has sometimes been viewed as a book of mystery, yet the title itself implies something brought out of hiding. More specifically, it is “the revelation of Jesus Christ . . . to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass” (Revelation 1:1). God wants us to know what is going to happen, so we can be prepared, and to help us in calling others to repentance. Beginning in chapter 6, we are given a chronological record of things that will happen in the last days. There is a series of seven seals, then a series of seven trumpets, then a series of seven bowls of wrath. We read in Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.’” In the context, this seems to come around the middle of the tribulation period.
In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul is writing to believers concerning the transition from this life to eternal life. Our mortal bodies will be transformed into immortal, incorruptible bodies, prepared for the eternal kingdom of God. Verse 52 says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” Paul addresses the same subject to the Thessalonians, and specifically connects it with the rapture of the church. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
There is no question that God has revealed these things to us and that He intends for us to be encouraged and instructed by them. The question is whether these trumpets are the same. If they are the same, then the rapture of the church happens in the middle of the tribulation period, and saints need to be prepared to endure those trials. If they are not the same, then we need to know when the last trump will sound, so that we can be prepared for it. In order to find out whether they are the same, we can compare the events they are associated with.

It is clear that the first two passages (Corinthians and Thessalonians) fit together, but the third doesn’t appear to have any correlation in either the events described or the intended results. The argument connecting them has to depend on the meaning of the word last in 1 Corinthians 15:52. The Greek word eschatos can mean either “last in point of time” or “last in point of sequence.” This trumpet sounds before the wrath of God descends, yet Revelation 6:17 speaks of the wrath of the Lamb as having come, and the seventh trumpet doesn’t sound until Revelation 11:15. The trumpet of 1 Thessalonians is given in a moment, whereas Revelation 10:7 indicates that the seventh trumpet will be sounded for a number of days. Even though the seventh trumpet is the last one described in Revelation, Matthew 24:31 indicates there is yet another trumpet which will sound “after the tribulation of those days,” when Christ returns to the earth, which parallels with Revelation 19.
If the “last trumpet” of 1 Corinthians 15 is not the same as the seventh trumpet, then what was Paul referring to? Both 1 Thessalonians and 1 Corinthians were written long before John wrote Revelation, so Paul’s readers would have no knowledge of the seven trumpets of Revelation. Paul intended for them to understand what he was writing about, so we need to look elsewhere for clarification. Paul’s writing was distinctly in reference to the church and the closing of the church age at the rapture. Throughout Scripture, trumpets were used as signals to gather people, to set armies on the move, and as part of the worship of God. The trumpet that summons the church is called “the trump of God,” while those in Revelation are angelic trumpets. Since it is a summoning trumpet, we can look to the Old Testament for further understanding. Numbers 10 gives instruction to Israel about the use of trumpets to call an assembly of the people and to set them in motion. The first trumpet blast (v. 4) called the leaders together, while a continual blowing was an alarm for the people. A series of trumpet blasts was the signal for each group of tribes to begin their journey, and the last blast indicated the movement of the last group in the camp. Similarly, 1 Corinthians 15:23 speaks of different orders, or ranks, in the resurrection: “Every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.” Further, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 divides Christ’s own into two groups-the dead in Christ and those who are alive and remain.
So, if the trumpet is the call for saints to assemble and journey to heaven, what does that mean for us? Jesus said that no one knows when the Day of the Lord will begin (Matthew 24:36), and 1 Thessalonians 5:2 describes it as coming as a thief in the night, without warning. In 1 Corinthians 15:58, we are told to be “steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.” Just like the Israelites in the wilderness, we do not know when the trumpet will sound, so we are to be always ready. While we may not know the day or hour, we have been given enough information to know it can happen at any moment. We are to be ready, putting on the armor of God, because we have been appointed to receive salvation through Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:8-9).

Falling away is not the Rapture.
The argument is that the word translated "falling away" just means "departure". One of the interesting things that has been brought up is that KJV started this trend of translating the word "falling away" possibly to refer to the Catholic church. A note to that effect appears in the Geneva footnotes too (although Geneva uses "departure"). Remember that the common believe at the time was that the church is the kingdom, so the translators probably had a very different understanding of the end times to begin with.
Falling away IS the rapture.

Are we to look for a mass exodus all at once, but even if so, how many? What standard of measurement do we even use? 2ndly *=====>* To conclude that this is a *DOCTRINAL* departure, is not giving enough weight to the whole context. This is only used two times in the entire New Testament like this, the other time being found in *Acts 21:21* where it says, "And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to *FORSAKE* Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs." When the word is used in *VERB* form, of the 15 times it's used, only 3 point to a faith departure, and *_TWELVE_* times it speaks of s/thing altogether differently like "departing" from iniquity, from the temple, etc...
So yes...there will be a *DEPARTING* but I believe it speaks to departing/leaving planet earth, for heaven, a *PHYSICAL* departure, i.e. the rapture.

If we read the KJ Bible, you will see the “falling away” CAN’T be the rapture and “the day of Christ” and the day of the Lord AREN’T the same.
Philippians 2:16. Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Here, “the day of Christ” surely refers to the day Paul will rejoice for not running nor had laboured in vain. This day CAN’T be the tribulation or the day of the Lord at the end of the tribulation.
It certainly refers to the rapture wherein Paul will REJOICE. When else will we as well as Paul rejoice? Only the rapture is the day of rejoicing as it’s our much awaited blessed hope.
Now, as the “day of Christ” is the rapture, then, the “falling away”:CAN’T be the rapture or else, 2Thess 2:3 won’t make sense.

It sure doesn’t make sense. So, the “falling away” has to mean the DEPARTURE from TRUTH which is the mystery of iniquity that began in the first century and it’s waxing worse and worse till he that let it happen be taken away at the rapture.
Check out all three instances of “the day of Christ” in KJ Bible. Other English versions change the day of Christ to the day of the Lord in 2 Thess 2:2. If you cross reference with the Greek, it’s the same word in all three verses.

What I don't understand is, when lets says Hundreds of Thousands believers will be raptured from earth, what kind of impact that has to the unbelievers. Those who have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the payment for their sins and have believed that He was crucified, died, and rose again on the 3rd day, and that His shed blood paid the price for their sin will be saved. I'm not sure that people who are left behind (when we are raptured out or "caught up to meet the Lord in the air") I'm not sure that people will be able to be saved then I hope so. The best thing to do is to BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST and ask Him into your heart and life. We are all sinners and in need of a Savior. A Savior who died on the cross & resurrected on the third day. This pretrib has always bothered me for this reason: If there is a rapture that happens before the second coming, would not those who are left here know that there is a 7 year tribulation period before the second coming and therefor know of the time period of Christs return? You see, it says that no one knows the day or the time when this will happen, not even the son, as was said of Christ while here as written in the Gospels, yet this lesson and those that believe in pretribulation are testifying as to the day and the time in which Christ will return. Huh? Do you see the problem here? I apologize for offending anyone, that is not my intention, but I do not see it as possible to happen this way. What it means is that the 2nd coming of Christ is the same event as when we get raptured. For the rapture being a total separate event was only introduced into Christianity in the mid 1800s by Darby. Darby was a Irish missionary.

I don’t see scripture showing a pre-tribulation rapture. However, if it’s pre, there’s no need to prepare for this. If it’s post, then we should prepare.
So preparing for the tribulation is the smartest thing we can do. That being said, I don’t know why so many believers think God wouldn’t allow us to go through tribulation. All of the New Testament tells us we will go through trials and tribulation, and suffering.
First, while 1 Cor 15:51 is talking about the rapture the mystery is not talking specifically about the rapture as a whole, rather the mystery is that we will all be transformed in the twinkling of an eye. It's about us getting immortal bodies and there is no indication here about this event happening before the trib. He inserts these into the text with zero support, this is eisegesus, plain and simple.
Then he moves to 1 Thess 4, right off the bat he says it's referring to the period of time before the rapture but does not substantiate this and he cannot because this passage does not say when this event is going to happen. Btw this passage parallels Matt 24:29-31 perfectly, Jesus in the clouds, trumpets sounding, angels and gathering the elect, and it's after the trib.
Then he builds a whole case based on day and night. This fails because 1 Thess 5 doesn't say Jesus comes at night but rather He comes like a thief in the night. It's a simile, Paul is making a comparison here saying Jesus comes when unbelievers won't be ready because night is the time when people sleep and people aren't ready when they sleep. Notice in v.4 believers are not in darkness and Jesus won't come like a thief at night for us. This darkness is a metaphor for knowing or not knowing or being surprised when Jesus comes back. Believers will be waiting and watching for the signs because we are the children of the day. This is clearly talking about the same time period, for unbelievers it will be like darkness and for believers it will be like light. Again he has inserted his meaning into the text.
He gets one thing right, that the wrath of Satan and the wrath of God will be poured out during the final 7 years but who will Satan pour his wrath out on if the church is gone?
Then he get 2 Thess 2 completely wrong. The apostasia cannot be the rapture, it would then be a prerequisite for itself.
The order of events in 2 Thess 2:1-8 is very clear:
1. Apostasy
2. Restrainer removed
3. AC revealed
4. Day of Christ.
-Jesus's Coming
- His Gathering to us.

John you need to understand how to rightly divide the word. We are in the dispensation of grace . When the tribulation begins prophecy starts and then it’s all about works and faithfulness your under the law at this time because of sacrifices at the temple. Right now Christ full filled the law he was the last sacrifice for all sins. All you need to do is believe in Christ 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 if your saved your going like it or not no one wants to be here during GODS wrath. There are quite a few things here that are pretty significant that should be talked about
Revelation is actually called the Apocalypse of John. We just changed it to Revelation, as it was give to him in a vision. The whole Bible is a revelation.
Stating being caught in the air and the book of Revelation are two different things are not supported in any way in scripture. Here is why.
First I want to clarify the mystery Paul talks about. Paul actually does reveal a rapture here at the coming of Christ. However, the mystery itself it attached to other events. Those events are at a trumpet sounding, and dead rising.
When discussing 1 Cor 15, there is a twist of the last trump that is not supported by scripture. The video states it's not one of the 7 trumpets that takes place in the Revelation period. When you look at this statement, you can tells the faulty evaluation of the verse. What trumpet is Paul referring to? If it is a last trump, there must be trumpets sounding before it. That is first mistake evaluating the trumpet in this verse. Paul is referring to a trumpet that will raise the dead. When you read about the Day of the Lord, that is when the dead shall rise. How do we know this? Isaiah 26 sheds light on this. Also, Daniel 12. That leads to the next question. Which is, when is the Day of the Lord?
Joel 3 gives us events to identify this. It tells us there will be quakes in the Heaven and Earth. The sun, moon, and stars will not shine. That all happens before the Day of the Lord. That now brings us the Matthew 24. Jesus says what? Matthew 24 verse 9 is describing what we see in Joel 3. There are trumpets sounded before the sun and moon go dark, which is the 6th seal. At the very least, a rapture could not happen until here.
I would like to add here that at the 7th trumpet (or after it), it is then that we are rewarded, not during the first 6 as the background in this video describes.
1 Thess 4 refers to the Day of the Lord being the day the dead rise. 1 thess 5 goes into the detail of the Day of the Lord. This is how we can confirm this is the context of the rapture Paul talks about.
Lets head to 2 Thess 1. Paul teaches Christians here that their relief for afflictions comes when Christ is revealed from Heaven and comes to take vengeance with his angels. He does not teach it happens at a rapture before Christ is revealed.
2 Thess 2 tells Christians they will not miss the Day of the Lord until there is apostacy and the Anti Christ is REVEALED. How is he revealed? He will sit in the temple and declare himself to be God.
The dead rising and the alive being caught up are all attached to the Day of the Lord. Which has celestial events that MUST happen before it.
Just given these scriptures, we can conclude a pre-trib rapture is an appeal to emotion and a false teaching.

@@bradholbrooks easy. First the mystery in 1 Cor 15:51 is not talking specifically about the rapture, rather it's that we will all be transformed in the twinkling of an eye. It's about us getting immortal bodies and there is no indication here about this event happening before the trib. He inserts these into the text with zero support, this is eisegesus, plain and simple.
Then he moves to 1 Thess 4, right off the bat he says it's referring to the period of time before the rapture but does not substantiate this and he cannot because this passage does not say when this event is going to happen. Btw this passage parallels Matt 24:29-31 perfectly, Jesus in the clouds, trumpets sounding, angels and gathering the elect, and it's after the trib.
Then he builds a whole case based on day and night. This fails because 1 Thess 5 doesn't say Jesus comes at night but rather He comes like a thief in the night. It's a simile, Paul is making a comparison here saying Jesus comes when unbelievers won't be ready because night is the time when people sleep and people aren't ready when they sleep. Notice in v.4 believers are not in darkness and Jesus won't come like a thief at night for us. This darkness is a metaphor for knowing or not knowing or being surprised when Jesus comes back. Believers will be waiting and watching for the signs because we are the children of the day. This is clearly talking about the same time period, for unbelievers it will be like darkness and for believers it will be like light. Again he has inserted his meaning into the text.
He gets one thing right, that the wrath of Satan and the wrath of God will be poured out during the final 7 years but who will Satan pour his wrath out on if the church is gone?
Then he get 2 Thess 2 completely wrong. The apostasia cannot be the rapture, it would then be a prerequisite for itself.
The order of events in 2 Thess 2:1-8 is very clear:
1. Apostasy
2. Restrainer removed
3. AC revealed
4. Day of Christ.
-Jesus's Coming
- His Gathering to us.
It's so clear in scripture that there is no pre trib rapture.

The whole reason we get a glorified body is because our flesh sins, and sin cannot enter heaven.

@@kathyhenderson2114 your asking a question that presupposes an answer. It's like asking " have you stopped beating your wife yet?" You assume that 1 Cor 15 is before the trib. You must first prove that and you cannot. 1 Cor 15 is after the trib just like Matt 24:29-31 says.
So this guy believes in a 3rd coming. There is only a second coming of Jesus. This guy is wrong wrong wrong.
The rapture comes first not after when Jesus comes back he is setting up for a 1000 year reign over earth so obviously the post rapture theory is false.
@Samson 001 so coming back in the air is the 2nd and coming back and setting feet on the ground is a 3rd. There is only one 2nd coming and not a 3rd.
There is a 3rd coming....when Jesus raptures His bride His feet will not touch the ground as we're called up. Then after the tribulaion( time of Jacob's trouble) Jesus comes back again with His saints on a white horse and a sword ( God's word) in His mouth, thus being the 3rd coming.
Do share what you think will take place when Jesus returns. You don't believe that believers are removed from earth? Seriously...is there no rapture, and you think Christ returns to set up His kingdom at the end of the tribulation and that's it?
Take a hard look at *Luke 17* which is the parallel passage to *Matt 24* and you'll find additional conversation that Jesus had in *Vss 34-37*
1st off, Matt 24 is not a rapture passage. The conversation/topic being discussed is noted in Vs 3... where they ask, "...and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the END OF THE WORLD?"

Vs 34 "I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other shall be left.
Vs 35 "Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other left."
Vs 36 "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other left.
Vs 37 "And they answered and said unto him, WHERE, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."
You can see this is *NOT* conversation about being taken to heaven, as they u/stood WHERE those that would be "LEFT" would still be at that time...one STILL sleeping...one STILL grinding, and one STILL found in the field. The question they asked of Christ in *Vs 37* was WHERE the ones that are "TAKEN" would be taken to, and WHERE would they end up. Christ answers them in the same verse...
"Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together". In o/words, they are taken to JUDGMENT as their dead bodies remain, & the saints who have returned with Him, remain to rule with Him for 1,000 years. *NO RAPTURE IN THE PASSAGE*
The rapture is one event, and His 2nd coming is a distinctly different event. The people groups that are "TAKEN" and those that "REMAIN" are reversed with the two events. I Thess 4:17 "Then we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Rapture............Believers are taken away to glory...a delight!
2nd Coming.....Unbelievers are taken away to judgment...destruction!
@@Kman. One event IS the rapture and its BEFORE the tribulation that is whats called pre-trib. And Jesus comes and His feet will NOT touch the ground, calls His saints, church, bride, whatever you want to call His followers.
Then the next event is whats called the Tribulation and also known as the time of Jacob's ( Daniel 9) trouble where the 144,000 will be witnessing to those who did not believe.
At that particular time all the saints Jesus raptured will be at the marriage supper.
Then the next event will be when the tribulation ends, Jesus returns with His saints behind Him and he will have the Word( sword) of God in His mouth.
Then Jesus will reign from Jerusalem for a 1,000 years.
Believe it or not...Eschatology is something I know.
I'm a theologian. But I'm not going to list and explain the events out if the bible. It would be too long. You also have to rightly divide the word of truth.
1 Jesus came and died on the cross
2 Jesus comes ( His feet dont touch ground)
3 Jesus comes back to destroy his adversaries and reigns from Jerusalem.
