Sad that not every voice actor for Persona 4 could reprise their roles throughout the years. We lost Chie's, Teddie's, Kanji's, Naoto's, and with the dancing game, Rise's.
I thought Chie and Teddie's VA maintained their roles?

Chadachi gets development that makes him one of, if not, the best villain of the Persona franchise.
Alternatively, Persona: Adachi Just Vibing: The Game.
Every Persona video CrystAAHHL does should just be titled " guessing every plot point of this game correct by accident"

Also, regarding the parallels between Sho and Akechi: It's really amazing how they can write the same character thrice and it's still always a hit. First Adachi, then Sho and then Akechi. All three were people who thought bonds just weigh you down and the strength you gain from them means nothing. And then there's always the protagonist, always willing to reach out their hand to them, always getting through to them in the end.
Also, holy fuck, Adachi's post-P4 character development! I love it so much! It's like 3rd semester Akechi but different at the same time~
Didn’t they give slight clues that the “Chihiro is alive” event is canon to the Arena games? I think the cross pendant Junpei wears was a gift from her too, or so said Atlus. They just don’t draw attention to it much since people can be stupidly weird about optional events being revealed as canonical.

Can we appreciate the fact that Shuji's puns traumatized Crystal so much that she immediately knew it was him based on Teddie

How Yu is suprised by S.E.E.S having dog with Persona while his team has bear-like shadow with persona and that can talk?
To be fair, Teddie is a shadow instead of a normal animal.
Teddie is a shadow with a bear costume. Koromaru is an actual dog. Obviously Yu would be surprised cause how can a dog be trained to have their own personas. Also the way of getting your own Persona varies by game so it’s not the Investigation Team knows how SEES got their personas except they know they use Evokers
@@Dresfvae To be fair everyone gets their persona in the same way, they're just portrayed differently. The P4 guys face physical manifestations of their shadow, while P1/2/3/5 face their shadows mentally.

Oh, btw Chidori canonically survived. In FES, if you have Junpei visit her on certain days you will get a special event where she'll come back to life a few weeks later. She's who gifted him the necklace he wears in the game.

@@AlexanderMartinez-kd7cz I'd say my opinion is that PQ has a better story and some really good interactions, but is unable to really handle it when it tries to juggle so many characters and two routes. I think PQ2 handles the characters better, especially since it gives you a break before introducing the P4 characters and then another break before introducing the P3 characters. It never feels like it's trying to juggle too much.
@@silversmilegirl and femc was introduced before p4 cast which I really appreciated beacuse she is one of the reasons I wanted this game. She got some love finally

I honestly love the new outfits for some of the characters in this game.

Sho is one of my favorite Characters and the Ultimax Manga really amplified it. There’s a lot of struggle and character that he goes through and his relationship with Minazuki is heart warming
I came for the puns, stayed for the tragic backstory and the fact that _this boy needs hugs badly._
It seems that a lot of Sho fans are upset that he hasn't been included in any material since Ultimax (the dancing games aside). Me? I'm happy he hasn't, because that means they haven't ruined him. I don't trust Arcsys with characters after a certain incident involving BlazBlue.
(also, no one can tell me that he doesn't have a huge crush on Yu.)
I really like the parallels between Sho and Shuji, while Sho was trying to enact Shuji's will and bring about the fall, Shuji tried to do the same thing for Kouetsu Kirijo.
And while not confirmed, Kouetsu might also fall under the pattern, depending on if he was involved with Persona 1.
Well it was apparently stated in the lore that the Kirijo group once belonged to the Nanjo, so it is possible.
@@leitefaria8560 yeah, in game they even say that the Kirijo Group split off from Nanjo because they didn't like Nanjo's "Im gonna be number one" gimmick.
But of course, Nanjo inherited Kandori's research, which happened to be the exact same stuff that Kirijo researched, and while Kandori ended his research in 1996, Kirijo went insane around 1996.
Theres a lot leaning towards it.

A friend and I have already come up with a big plot, a way to get to the "metaverse" , and how they'd summon their personas.
We have character ideas and what their personas would be, and who the antagonists would be.
We spent too much time on it

Chidori's actually still alive as of FES, pretty sure Crystal only didn't get her resurrection scene because she didn't speak to Junpei on the right days. She gave him that cross he's wearing, he's not like suddenly religious or anything lmao

Damn its kinda sad the p3 cast just accepted the memento mori mentally to the point when it's weird to then not using the evoker to summon their personas, something that's causes a lot of stress, fear and other things that's hurt you
To be fair, the TV World (and the Metaverse) is nothing like the Dark Hour. It's a separate domain where Persona-users can be more at ease. Meanwhile, to get to the Dark Hour, they didn't have to use a gateway to get there, it just happened every midnight, in the real world. Thus, one of Dark Hour's hard rules is that trying to summon a Persona without the Evoker is supposed to feel like splitting your head open (the other is whatever damage you do during it is carried over).

In that scene, Adachi runs away from the corpse and vomits with Dojima claiming that he's been a cop too long to act like a rookie. Why do you think he had that reaction? A lot of people have different intepretations and I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Nope, maybe if Persona 5 Arena comes out.
Fun fact, people thought Joker P5 was Sho, because in the files of P4AU there is audio referring to "P5 HERO" and "Mephistopheles", which was Joker's persona at one point.
All of the new characters also have code names, usually being shorter versions of their real name, like "yk" being yukari. The exceptions are Sho, who is referred to as "NB" and "NO", which stands for NewBoss / NewBoss0 (with a persona / without a persona)
Theres also Margaret, whose name is "NX", which implies Margaret might've replaced a 3rd form of Sho, or P5 Hero.

There's the Ultimax manga adaptation, which gives a lot more insight into his backstory, and he also has a dance in P3D/P5D as DLC. Other than that, no.

There is a few allusions, but I think they try to avoid the subject (meta) for two reasons. First they'd have to give a canon name (though they have used terms like someone and he before) and second is that it'd spoil a major twist.
I say that like a few of P4 and P5's twists aren't just thrown around like they are nothing big.
