37:50 Naoto asking Shinjiro if he keeps his hands in his pockets bc he's cold actually was closer to the mark than she thought. This was never revealed in game, only in an interview I believe, but the reason Shinjiro wears his coat is because the drugs he takes to control his Persona mess with the way his body regulates its temperature, so he's often cold.

Same, was watching a stream of p4g for my first time and was confused people called her a boy. I said "that's a guy?" And my comment got deleted spoiling me, they coul have just said yes...
Naoto was honestly like a gateway character into understanding what I love in both characters, storytelling and people in general. Well, her and Aigis... and it's amazing how much more I can appreciate and her growth now in my 30s.

I fully understand the lengths one will go to just to get 100% on all maps. It can be a problem.
First thing I started backtracking to do when I got the space jump in Metroid Zero Mission. Map completion plays into my experience, and it also just looks nice.
I have had games with map functions containing bugged location data that still haunt me for that reason. Looking at you DBZ: Buu's Fury.

@@OhThatSamu That kinda annoys me about the quiz. Answering certain questions locks you into a partner. Wish it was determined by the amount of questions that appealed to a certain character but considering how many there are, that was probably too hard to program.

Honestly, I really need to pick up Q1 and give it a whirl. P4 and P3 have so much great characterisation and flavour text... and I think I'd be willing to stomach Teddie being even more insufferable just to see more interactions of the two parties and make maps.
Also, having Koro, Aigis, Naoto, and Kanji in the same game feels like such fun opportunity to pass up.
Also, I could call my party the Ultra Persona Squadron... or UPS. GENUINELY I WANT THIS! 😅

I ended up doing it on purpose, mainly because he is one of the few ok with it, it is kind of wholesome, and one of the only times Teddie is written GOOD in this game.
He is an ok character but god he is always treated dirty by the writers.
@@kirby1781 I agree i like when teddie is written innocent i still head canon he does not understand what "scoreing" really is and the perversion comes from him trying to understand people through teenage litterature
also gaining sentience and sapience by interacting with the repressed emotions of teenages can not be good for anyone
Pillars of Snow I think that is canon, as one of the Arena quotes has him say he was finally able to score with someone, before being confused that it isn't what it means.
Line (From Arena only, Ultimax changes it) - "Hey, Yuki-chan! How'd you like my scoring with you, huh? Hrm? That isn't what "scoring" means?"
A shame this detail is hidden in a specific piece of rare dialogue though. Making stuff like this more open would make him more bearable to the general audience. "Bearable", well, bound to happen eventually.
Edit - Also this gives the implication Teddie grew his human body to fight with the girls since he thinks that is what scoring is...take that as you wish.

Did you know, the protagonists can get each other as their Destined Partner?
So, for anyone who's new to this game, here's a little warning: The 3rd labyrinth is the point where shit hits the fan, not in a "the room has a new coat of paint now" way, but in a "has this brown stain been here all the time?" way. The guardian is somewhat unfitting to the overall theme of the labyrinth, but there's a reason for it. Idk what were gonna see of it, but pay attention to what the guardian is saying. It's ACTUALLY important

When I saw that she choose that she liked the way she goes up the down elevator... I just knew she was going to get Elizabeth... also if you dont know yet... that part isn't limited to p3 matching with other p3 members... it also caters to those niche people who ship p3 and p4 main guy with other people outside of their group... persona q gotchu fam.

I have struggled with floor 3 of the group date café(5:40) that was the part I was stuck at and I couldn't find a way to get past it so i just beat it up and won so im on the third maze now( I also got zen as my destined partner wanted naoto )= smh)
I think this dungeon is Crystal's favorite!
Crystal if it makes you feel any better I ALSO got Elizabeth on my first playthrough when going through the quiz, but it was with Narukami instead. I figured the responses lead to something back then....but I guess you didn't think it was serious. Marriage is real.
