i hope you gain more subs from philippines most reactors pause like half of the song then give a little comment so that youtube cant block the reaction hope it helps.
This song is actually part of a concept album, which is also in my top 3 favorite albums of all time. It chronicles the journey of a young cancer patient towards death. As a cancer survivor myself (just ended medication maintenance and am cancer free), it hits differently. The song Cancer got a lot of airplay during my early treatment.
Such a great song. It had always brought me back to a very specific time in life when my husband was deployed (OIF I-II & OEF combat vet,) but now after recently losing my Mama suddenly it really speaks to me in another way. The lead singer Gerard was inspired to start the band and write music after experiencing 9. 11. He’s such a fabulous poet. Thank you for your reaction ✨🫶🏼✨
My favourite band since 2006. I'm 53 now but these guys will never be defeated, lol, they'll carry on. Cried flods first time hearing it back then because they promised to be around.
Saw your reaction so effort not in vain & I knew they were sort of punk rock. Would have liked to hear more from the woman at the start. Certainly had some type religious overtones where the guy gets out of the hospital bed or "resurrected" type deal. Interesting visuals like the band was leading some type of army? Something about saving is where I got that on first listen. My first song I would certainly listen to a couple others.
If you mean the lady with blonde hair and the gas mask , that's "mother war" a representation of what war means for the main character. There are many things happening as this song is part of a conceptual album, there's also a song called "mama" talking about 'mother war' and the implications of it
You mean the voice over the piano at the beginning? That's the same lead singer, he's just singing in a different tone. And yeah, they're like a marching band that welcomes the dead on the other side. That's the black parade.
The singer Gerard Way believes that death comes to you in the form of your most precious memory. And the main character of the album "The Patient"s fondest memory was seeing a marching band with his father, who we presumed had passed away "One day I'll leave you to join the black parade." So the Black Parade is death bringing the patient to the afterlife.

Actually, I knew about this group:) when my son was a baby, I’d play some of their songs to help him go to sleep:)
I'm guessing you played... Sleep? ;)

You should listen to more!
I've got one coming up.
Why on earth would they pick this song and not The Ghost of You???? React to that. 1000% better song/video.
I don't pick the songs. My viewers do.
Yeah, for a veteran that would be a good song and video.
Because it's their biggest and most well known song.
Im a suspect, I love the black parade, but I'm sure that he will love Ghosts of You, it's a very different vibe
