glad it helped. On a side note, RUclips has cancelled my partner program since I don't have enough subscribers (currently around 688, should be 1000 😞), so it would really help if you subscribe (and all your friends) 😉

I tried to do this, but when I did, the bar chart did not sort the categories of the variable next to each other. It sorted the x-axis into 1 and 0, which would be the categories of the variable, while I would prefer no sorting at all, I would like to have all the variables next to each other where the 1 and 0 category for one specific Item are always grouped together and next to each other.
not sure. Which version of SPSS are you using? I did notice IBM mentions "This module is included in the SPSS Standard edition for on premises and in the “Custom Tables and Advanced Statistics” add-on for Subscription plans" (www.ibm.com/products/spss-statistics/custom-tables)
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed but I did not know how to frame my question.

Thank you so much!
what should i do when category position option is set to default and its off for change
see at 0:24 in the video. If you can't change it, it is almost certainly because the values for the variables are not the same....
@@stikpet yes that's the exact issue I resolved it . thanks 👍

not fully sure if I understand what you want to accomplish, but you mention a chart, so perhaps ruclips.net/video/djBtLpW0Bvk/видео.html this helps?
Why my SPSS dont have Custom table or table in analyze

Does anyone know why the category position is greyed out even after copy and paste?
perhaps you have the measurement level set to scale, then it will not work.
Any tips about doing this in excel?

I can't imagine how I used to suffer in fixing this in excel
I'm still suprised that SPSS hasn't made this easier in almost 6 years now 🙂. Glad the video still helps people out.
