As a real estate agent, I can tell you the iPad Pro is the absolute BEST device for someone like me. My M2 MacBook Air barely gets used, very situational or only if I want to change up my workflow up a little bit every now and then.
I have an iPad Pro (2020) and I love it but can’t help but feel that Samsung’s tablet OS is far superior at this point with Samsung Dex. Their tablets can truly be a laptop replacement. iPad OS still has a long way to go. Until then they’ll remain a niche product.
Watching your video after many many days now. Good seeing you my friend 😊 But i laughed so hard when i saw that you used apple keyboard the whole time time before and after the EST ad 😅 You betrayed them, ‘sort of’ haha 🤣
I like this guys videos though sort of I’m feeling, like, sort of, this guy, kind of, sort of overuses sort of the phrase sort of, like, sort of a little too much, lol. Really though, great shots and great information, thanks for being informative. I have had my m2 iPad Pro 1tb for a while and still enjoy watching other peoples takes on this wonderful device
Thank you for explaining everything I love about the iPad and iPad OS - especially what you said about being able to focus on one task at a time! That’s definitely the reason I don’t want Mac OS on the ipad, i love the way the OS works and keeps me focused (and it’s fun to use)
Your level of speed talking + concise articulation is unparalleled on YT lol 👏🏼 it’s fun going back and forth from iPad Pro to MBP. Different tools for somewhat different purposes.
The last year my M1 Max MacBook Pro 14 spent most of its time collecting dust, the iPad Pro 11 went with me everywhere, work, international travel, etc. I just ordered a 13 pro and the MacBook will stay in the boat as a navigation desk computer. There is nothing I do day to day that requires an actual laptop & an iPad with cellular is just so much better.
As a Beauty Consultant and Hair Stylist, I use my iPad EVERYDAY! I run both of my Businesses with it and prefer it over my Mac. I love it and will be upgrading to the iPad Pro!
I only use my iPad Pro (1TB) as a night computer with some world newspaper readings, drawing sketches, and watching TV Show Suits. At the end of a long work day is quite nice.
Ipad is annoying to be honest…been using it for 3years now and i tried it to be my daily driver for work but the optimisation for basic apps is so fucked up is laughable…even if you connect keyboard mouse they still don’t function the same as computer. iPad is best for watching movies, surfing web, reading articles, great drawing and writing experience, and great for ios gaming. Even popular note taking apps don’t function the same as pc. That’s a huge let down. I hope apple some day solves something to make it less frustrating coz i love the device so much!!
I got an iPad Pro 12.9 M2 256GB with the MK in August. I am still sleeping on it. It is an awesome device, but can’t get myself to use it much, other than watching stuff on it, and maybe occasionally playing games. Though I am fortunate enough to have many devices: a gaming PC, a MBA, iPhone, Tab S9 FE etc. All of them have purposes, and even when I had less, I was still not using the iPad much. Maybe I should just convince myself to use it as an entertainment device and nothing more. Then, it’ll be the fun device.
Welcome to the other side, I’ve been iPad Pro only since 2017 and won’t go back. Has it been a struggle, yes but it keeps getting better every year and i love it. Can’t wait till next year!
Is just about what do you need do you use logiciel that only exist on mac if so don’t buy an ipad but if everything that you do can be done an ipad you have the choice. I am in college and i don’t need any special logiciel the ipad is the best tool for me because is so simple and fresh i don’t need a laptop because my ipad can do all i want so for me in my utilisation ipad is a laptop and even better
The operating system is really limiting for the expensive and powerful hardware that iPads come with. It might be better for most people to buy a cheaper rival tablet then just use web services to run any professional work online instead of over-paying for an iPad which cannot use the hardware it comes with no matter how good that hardware is? To get the most out of the ipad you have to use web services and a fast connection which defeats the whole point of having powerful hardware.
iPad isn’t a computer replacement and I see it as a luxury companion device. I use mine for web browsing and photo editing in the Lightroom app and I think that’s all it’s good for. Excel is awful, mail is okay but difficult when adding attachments. Files app is awful.
Agreed. I use it more for notes and reading for school and as a secondary display/computer (using sidecar) attached to my Mac for work. I have the M1 Air (both iPad and MacBook). I never use my iPad as a laptop replacement.
The iPad IS a computer replacement for some people. People who need only some of functionality that a computer does the iPad replaces it. Why is this argument even still a thing?
iPads are great! Love it as a companion to my MBP! Not trying to make it a computer replacement, just loving it for what it is and what it was intended to be. Also works great tethered to my MBP as a two screen solution on the go!
Great video. I want you to do an iPad 11 vs 12.9 video. Also, could you please specify what screen protection you use- paperlike type or tempered glass?
Hey. Great Video! I just started on my iPad experience and your videos really helped a lot. Specially the one from iPad air and the student view. I was just wondering about what is the pencil grip you are using in this video and if you also recommended? Keep up the good work!👍👍
I’m new to this channel. I enjoy Noah’s views and reviews. I agree with all the positive iPad comments. It is literally my favorite Apple product and always has been from the very first iPad.
I have the M1 iPad Pro with magic keyboard. The touch screen with the Apple pencil is a superior interface experience compared to the Macbook traditional touch pad and keyboard. It is not even close.
But that's the only really big advantage over a Mac...so for many people, it's still not an acceptable full-time replacement for a laptop or desktop computer.

The iPad is a wonderful tool for many people. If developers care bring full feature apps to it. Hoping Apple brings full iWork features to it someday.

Looking forward to the 12.9inch M3 iPad Pro to replace my 2018 11inch iPad Pro. It had a good run :)
Seriously thinking this too

Please, add a "sort of" counter your videos. When you say it 30+ times in a 12 min video, it should be a must.
Approaching 70 I can hardly keep up with this guy, but he is worth it.
haha, thanks for watching :)
iPad Pro is the future of computing. It’s a device that Apple has built almost by magic.
If it cannot use the full version of Microsoft Office, it’s not for business.
New ipads coming up in march 2024… waiting for it ❤❤❤❤
exquisite music taste my dude
ty ty :)
Take a shot every time he says ‘sort of’
Great vid! Thanks for returning to the iPad as a topic on your channel.
it's been a long time coming :)

I wouldn’t upgrade RAM in the iPad Pro, apps can’t use more than 6GB and the base comes with 8GB.

2022 M1 Ipad pro user with magic keyboard. i love this device. I don’t know why people hate the ipad. it’s the best tablet on the market no doubt.

It is a great creative device. But not a laptop replacement for professionals like myself.
Paid adv??
I "sort of" liked this video
i "sort of" did too lmao
While I love my iPad Pro & still use it as a travel companion, it still can't replace my MacBook yet
The number of unread messages in your Gmail is making me hyperventilate 😀
Omg another adhd wannabe without diagnosis 😮
honey i wish lmfao. my life would be a whole lot easier.

ipad is great bruh
lol the iPad experience doesn't nee to be preserved, it needs to be enhanced !
That is really working for me! Switching to different devices for different important uses. Terrific!!
it be nice if they do bring out the 14,1 in iPad Pro
That ultra watch look so funny on the wrist 😂

The worst thing about the iPad is how it manages files and windows, it’s slower than a Mac or PC and spotlight doesn’t work well.
@@joseabraham777 true! I’m just gonna stick to my use cases for it and try to not keep thinking I wish I bought a laptop!
At one time we thought that a window was slower than a command line, it's still the case but we don't come back to it.

What pencil grip do you use? Looks like it can still charge and magnetically attach normally with it on?
Looks like the paper like brand pencil grip
What grip is that on your apple pencil?? :)
