I’ve been taking vitamin D3 for about 10 years now and I am convinced that it has helped me with my immune system. I don’t remember when it was the last time that I got sick, like the cold or sinus infection, which I used to get all the time. I also take K2, C and B complex.

One thing about Biotin that the doctor didn't mention is that it interferes with some lab test results like Thyroid Function by causing falsely elevated levels which could lead to an erroneous Hyperthyroidism diagnosis. It also interferes with heart attack tests like "Troponin" blood levels which could be falsely decreased.

@@lightningandthunder2861 "Take"? we should all replace the word "take" with the word "get." This is because we should all be getting all our vitamins, minerals, and supplements from our food rather than from a bottle. So I guess a good takeaway from this is if you’re afraid of HRT (which I am), the next best thing is to invest in a good B-complex vitamin? Or can you recommend a good woman’s multi-vitamin that contains all of the above?

I love your hair. Since i went into menopause i starter to lose so much hair. My hair is everywhere. What can i take? My doctors ignired my problem saying thats its normal process of getting old. Im 50 yrs old.
Take Finasteride and use minoxidil topically. Finasteride is normally for men but it works just as well for women as the acuse is the same. It makes me mad that doctors quickly prescribe for men but for women just say "You are getting old. It is normal". You can also take vitamin supplements. It will help but wont solve.
So good, so informative! I needed this, such great timing. Like most of your videos, this one will be saved, I appreciate this, because I’ve been lax in my supplement taking, I trust you are well, I love you Dr. Barbie! 💜💜💜

Ahh, but Jennifer. You should only use ll vitamins, minerals, and supplements to SUPPLEMENT your diet. And, of course, all diets are hardly the same. Women are not robots or carbon copies of one another. Never forget that the most important part of this education is for you to apply the information to YOUR personal situation. If you ever want my help with that, all you have to do is schedule a consultation at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
Julie, I cannot explain why the links do not work. But I can tell you that you'll find these documents at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I am so glad you're here, getting the menopause education you deserve. This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works: 1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you. I do consultations on Skype, FaceTime. Facebook Messenger, What’s App, and the phone. 2) I would send you an email to confirm that you are scheduled for the stated time, and invite you to send me as much information about yourself as you please. You can make it brimming with details and tell me about your reproductive life, any gynecologic problems you've had, your symptoms of peri-menopause, and your symptoms of post-menopause. You can include all your fears, concerns, and goals for your menopause management. You may also send me any labs, mammogram results, bone density results, etc. that you would like me to include in designing your protocol. For instance, if you want to adhere to a certain category of management options (herbs or diet & lifestyle, or whatever), you should tell me that. I will give you a deadline for sending all materials, and will not accept anything after that date. 3) I'll get busy creating a document that gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything, points out the pros and cons of each option, and tailors it all to YOU, using the information you have provided. The document will be loooooong. Most are over 30 pages. 4) I will send you the document by email 48 hours before your consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. Light bulbs will go off like crazy, and if you're like most women, you'll feel that you've already gotten your money's worth. 5) During your consultation, we will review the document and address any issues you want in order to fine tune everything and determine your best options. I'll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. I leave nothing unaddressed. 6) You will go to a professional of your choosing in order to get the actual hormones or whatever you choose to use. 7) After the first consultation, I'll hold your hand (forever if you want me to). In other words, you'll be able to schedule mini-consultations (15-minute or 30-minute, in addition to full consultations) whenever you need to. I'll keep records of your situation. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they go to the doctor and don't understand what he or she said, or why. I translate. I make sense of everything. Most schedule mini-consultation whenever they have a new test and they want me to explain the results. And all schedule mini-consultation whenever their situation changes and they need to re-weigh and re-balance their options. The time you spend with me will make everything about working with any other professional so easy. And they will love the fact that you have an actual education rather than a bunch of misconceptions that you got from the Internet. If your initial hormone regimen is not right, you'll want to consult with me before going to your doctor. I can prepare you for what to expect and what to request. So, that's my role. And nobody else on earth does this kind of thing but me. So, I hope you schedule a consultation and let me hold your hand (figuratively). I hope to meet you soon!

Your pink and purple are so feminine and pretty! Thank you for this tutorial! I have only recently fund out about Estrogen and bones. I am one of those women who wanted to only use "natural". I tried vitamins and herbs first. I had 2 real MD's who are also acupuncturists with a PHD from Harvard were he first o told me I needed estrogen. I could not get a doctor to help me. One doctor actually said it was too "radical". It took me 2 years from the time of my fracture to get estrogen. Doctors are all terrified of it. Especially for me with a breast cancer scare. As my hubby has said since watching your videos there are treatments for breast cancer but none for Alzheimer's and if I break my hip it can be fatal as you well know. I am still having a struggle getting a higher dose. I am not afraid of estrogen I am afraid not to take it. And to have 2 acupuncturist. herbalist tell m I need it and that herbs can only slightly enhance I know I really do need it. But then it was the Osteoporosis guy who told me about Estradiol and the different forms of it.Interesting about Vitamin E. I’ve been taking vitamin D3 for about 10 years now and I am convinced that it has helped me with my immune system. I don’t remember when it was the last time that I got sick, like the cold or sinus infection, which I used to get all the time. I also take K2, C and B complex.
The key to this education is finding what works best FOR YOU. And it sounds like you re doing just that.
Where to buy?
Sounds great what does K2 help with? thanks

Thank you.

@@MenopauseTaylor hello Dr which vitamins should I take for bone loss and hair loss?
@@lightningandthunder2861 "Take"? we should all replace the word "take" with the word "get." This is because we should all be getting all our vitamins, minerals, and supplements from our food rather than from a bottle.
The entire vitamin, mineral, and supplement industry is entirely unregulated. That does not mean it's harmful. But it does mean you shouldn't put much faith or hope into it.
You question reveals severe misunderstandings about some very critical matters. Vitamins are not pertinent to bone LOSS (or QUANTITY). They are pertinent to bone QUALITY. PLEASE consider scheduling a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME so that I can give you all the facts, tailor the all to YOU, and help you find YOUR best options.

Yes, but liver is not a popular food. You are very smart to include it in your diet.

Take Finasteride and use minoxidil topically. Finasteride is normally for men but it works just as well for women as the acuse is the same.
So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you.

(Sorry I am on that new computer and it deletes words as I write have not bee able about the crazy ay this is written. Thanks for this tutorial I will stop writing now! Goodnight! Its almost 3 am my bed time!
Your husband is so right. This whole education is about learning the real consequences of various diseases, and managing your menopause in order to avoid the new that hold the greatest risk for you. Most women have all their facts completely wrong and are doing the opposite of what they would do if they had their facts straight.
Gosh Dr Taylor your skin is amazing. I would love to hear about your skincare routine.
Well, thank you so much. But I have no "skincare routine"! I wash my face in the shower and the put Vaseline on my face. I hate makeup. (I'm a cosmetologist's nightmare. I'm a gynecologist, not a cosmetologist!)
@@MenopauseTaylor Thank you for sharing your super simple skin care routine and thank you for all your good work. Looking forward to having a consultation with you one day!
