I could easily watch a new video from you every day. Of all the vc channels I subscribe to, your channel is my favorite. I think I’ve watched your videos two or three times. Finally some britpop in the vc! Hope to see a new video soon.

I'm another 90s lover and spent then seven years working in a record shop, still consider it the greatest most varied decade ever I kept most of my vinyl from then even if they are just digital files.....

Wow! These are some really fantastic choices. Bluetones are among my favorites. I would have the Boo Radleys and Teenage Fanclub in there as well, but it's difficult to pick only ten. Maybe Cake by the Trashcan Sinatras? I'm a huge 80's/90's Britpop fan as well. Really some very great picks, thanks for sharing!

Brilliant choices there I love nearly all of those albums. I’ve seen most of those bands live as well. ‘Expecting to fly’ very nearly made my top 10, I play that a lot tbh. Love the Coral they’re one of my favourites. Jacqueline might be their best song.

Jacqueline is lovely isn’t it. I really love the whole album though.

Talking to Clarry is the best track on Expecting to Fly!

Hey! Always good to see Dodgy getting some love. I played their first two albums to death, and I still go back to their debut regularly.
I got My Life's Story's first album, Mornington Crescent back in the day, but only recently picked up The Golden Mile at a charity shop. I need to give it a bit more of a listen.
    Cheers - Hedley

Thanks for the comment! Big fan of the first three Dodgy albums, with Homegrown probably being my fave. Indeed, I feel they need a bit more love!

I think a lot of these bands never really gained much popularity outside the UK.

Thanks for the comment Rob! I’m starting to feel like a broken record just pushing Britpop, so I’ll have to focus on something else soon!

Thanks for the comment! I’m afraid I’m still rather stuck in the mid 90s somewhat. Mid 90s Britain to be precise!
