- I love this dish with ripe, meaty Roma tomatoes, which can be found year round and really benefit from having their flavors concentrated by baking. These can be served warm or at room temperature, either as a side dish or as part of an antipasto buffet. When cold, they are marvelous cut and tossed in green salads, because baking intensifies and concentrates flavor. Roughly chopped, they make a great topping for a bruschetta. Buon Gusto!

I've watched on create tv for yrs&yrs&recent here-my girls&a nephew will love the bowl cookbook but my heart was warmed Sunday may26she talks of mac&cheese&the edge of her wooden spoon was singed-like my Nina's, my mother's&yet the oldest one with the nice bowl came out of the drawer 1st-God love her jokes that she"has"to taste👍keep on

I make a version similar to this but I add the tomato pulp to the stuffing mix. It makes them a meal!

This looks like a banger. I wonder if putting some of the insides of the tomatoes in the panko would moisten it up some so it's not all panko.

The Tomatoes I use are mostly Fresh garden Tomatoes which are different from other Roma Tomatoes if it’s (OK) to use instead and are the only ones that come to me ?????????
