Dr. Darling from Control is Matthew Porretta, who is actually the voice of Alan Wake lol. But, if not in this game I'm sure he'll make an appearance again in Control 2.
In all the years I have been gaming, I've never seen a slate of releases like this October. There are sooooooooo many games coming out. This will definitely be one I will be playing, especially since I just played the first one for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was awesome.
I've got a theory that Mr Door is meant to be the same character as Mr Hatch from Quantum Break, but because Remedy doesn't own the rights to Quantum Break, they gave him a new name and recast him with David Harewood.
It's good to see after all these years Alan Wake will have a chance to fight his way out of the darkness, but what about Jackie Estacado? Will he also get the opportunity to escape from the darkness?
Control is a game I wish I could erase from my memory and play fresh again. The wonder and amazement I had on that 1st play through will never be recreated. Sometimes I still pick it up just to reply the ashtray maze. But again, nothing will compare to the 1st time.
@@VeritabIlIti either the Hiss or the Darkness augmented by the Hiss (which was already a thing in Control, “the darkness made louder, the sound made darker”). I couldn’t help but think of the Hiss because of the color scheme (the scene was kind of red-ish), the blocks disintegrating in a very cubist fashion, which is similar to the Control art style, the hissy voices (but it could just be your typical video game monster voice), and finally the random monster face flashing on the screen, which also gave me Control vibes. Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it would make sense to at least allude to the Hiss.

Looks good but no physical release means I’ll either be waiting for one or I’ll pick it up super cheap digitally 3 years from now. Also, personally I don’t like games where you split time as main characters. They always end up feeling like things could have been just a little better of they focused on one character instead.
I highly doubt there will be a physical release. Games are getting too big to fit on discs. Why pay for a case with either a download code, or a disc that only has half the game on it? In a few years, all games will be digital as they'll all be more than 100GB in size
@@c.lvr2602because you can resell disks, lend them to someone, collect them, and a lot of physical releases today still include day 0 code (which might prove valuable if they try to take down the store, or remove your license, down the road). You're gonna be boycotting most games from now on then. Games are too big to fit on discs nowadays, physical versions now are literally just cases with a download code, or a disc with half the game on it. Then as soon as the game updates for the first time, your version of the game is no longer the game on the disc. All games will be digital very soon as you can't fit 100GB worth on a disc.

I'll wait for it to come out on Steam with the ULTIMATE EDITION.
I don't think it's coming to Steam EVER. Like it's an exclusive deal with Epic. Not a time limited exclusivity deal.
