Beautiful build, immaculate, lots of brilliant ideas, the shower and storage, fabric lined ceiling, but I especially love the sweet little canine addition ;)
Finally, someone who understands the importance of a bathroom! Not everyone want to void their bowels in public or want to shower at a gym amongst the thousands of others who use it. Some people have to get up in the night to go - and women get that monthly thing that requires facilities....or at least it should! I am not crazy about the idea of using the short sprinter as I find it far too small for more than one person but I do appreciate you putting a bathroom in the short length van - so many don't and that is just plain ugh. I also appreciate you listing the music in the description... allowed me to hit the mute button quickly.
Fantastic build and the bathrrom is a realistic workable size and I love it at the back of the van. I would have to have a longer wheel base for storage. GREAT JOB enjoy!!!
man. 1) the conversion is gorgeous! but, more importantly, 2) the amount of attention to details you did on everything was absolutely glorious. kudos, dude!
A lot of camper vans have very tiny bathroom/shower but I love how regular/full sized it is. I feel like campers must do 3 things very well. Sleep, Cook and Shower in comfortable but efficient way.
I agree with you, on the 3 main things to do well - but in my opinion, you can't do all three with a short length van like his. And he has no chance to put a bicycle in it... And I mean ultimately, there are more than just those three things a van has to at least reasonably well - like bringing along sports gear, having some kind of table to sit at. I just gotta stop looking at videos that use a short van - its futile every time...
That bathroom at the back doubling as a walk through/open area when not in use makes a lot of sense, all these builds with no toilet or shower are just to much of a compromise to me....A bunk bed is also a smart move for a good nights sleep and you only need a single width for da sexy time :)
I love the folding bed idea, and plan to do something like it for a part time upper bunk bed at the back of a Pro Master, which is wide enough for transverse beds. But I would have had yours hinge down when not in use, and use that as the seat back, leaning the cushion up against it. But I think I can make the commonly used horseshoe seating area at the back by the rear doors where the table drops down to fill the gap and convert to a bed remain as primary bedding, but then hinge two halves of an upper bunk together out and up from each outer wall and support them with 2" angle steel running from wall to wall, 2 of them, or perhaps 3 of the steel pieces to support the bed fully... Each hinged plywood has to be 3' long and would be fastened to the outer walls with a 4' long piano hinge. When not in use, they hinge down and get concealed behind the side seat cushions of the horseshoe booth. To put it into use, one person would hold the bed halves up, while another inserts the angle steel pieces to fit into blocks at the wall so that the two edges of the steel face upward to then lower each half down onto for support. If you used an air mattress up there it doesn't create a need to store another mattress, however since it is transverse, whereas the lower extends forward 5' to 6' from the doors, the upper bunk can just be made to be 4' wide, and therefore extends only 4' forward from the back doors. Given the height of the tall Pro Master model, you should have almost 1' of vertical space you could still add some cabinets on the side where their feet would go when sleeping... With a 6' x 5' or 6' by 6' bottom cushioned area, and the upper fold away 6' x 4' bunk, you easily get sleeping area for 3 in no more floor space than most currently just get for 2...
I’d go with smooth shower walls so its easy to squeegee the excess water. All those bumps are just an invitation for mold and mildew to set up residence.
fancy for sure and over priced but good video to get good ideas for layout and how to save space if you want to build your own. any info is very useful for everybody , no matter if you can afford it or not. appreciate that.
That sensor on your ceiling can be disconnected and thrown away. It's for the factory interior lights. I got the shits with mine while working on the build at night. lights would automatically turn off if I wasn't moving around enough. Junk the sensor and they stay on.
Very nice layout and i see this is a 144 WB sprinter, it's small but yet the way you have done it almost kinda makes it look big. Definitely gave me some ideas of something that would work for me down the road to build. What is the miles per gallon you get and what size engine do you have?? I kept thinking I would need a 170 WB but I like this setup. What is the measure meant in the rear for the shower and toilet wall to wall and wall to door?
Fantastic build. Great floor plan. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy it.
I’ve seen over 50 van build videos... this is one of my absolute favorites!
All i can say is WOWWWWW!!!!! Love the bathroom and the bunk beds.
Probably the best build I’ve seen so far. The rear bathroom is fantastic!
Beautiful build, immaculate, lots of brilliant ideas, the shower and storage, fabric lined ceiling, but I especially love the sweet little canine addition ;)
The fabric walls and ceiling is a great idea! Nicely done.
Wow, best sprinter camper conversion i've seen so far, with a bathroom!!

sam Yes, the rest of activities should be outside
After watching hundreds of videos, finally someone made shower as big as it should be.

he should have added a washing machine, cause he has no storage at all in this build, so he is going to be wearing 1 set of clothes every day.
absolutely agree!

well done, good quality, simple ideas!
I'm gonna pull the trigger on one in spring!!!!
Wow!!! Can you please show the longer version with your instruction? I want to convert one by myself.
I’d go with smooth shower walls so its easy to squeegee the excess water. All those bumps are just an invitation for mold and mildew to set up residence.
very nice work.
Damn nice man!
Love the build. If I built bunk beds my wife would kill me.

Well done!
Could I ask what the silver barrier material you were using was? Is it full insulation or a vapour barrier? Thanks.
Wow, great work! How did you do the custom bunks? Can you give any more details about the construction and support? Thanks, so inspiring!

Very nice....!
Браво, страхотен ван! Чудесно изпълнение
Where did you get you sliding door bug screen? How well has it worked?
What kind of insulation did you use at the beginning of the video? Thanks!
