Amazing video I applied all tactics today in my game its very helpful But now also I facing too much problem on taking flat flick serve on backhand side plz suggest me something...
Thank you 😃If this happens quite a lot and they don't ever drive to your forehand then maybe stand further over so that you could play this shot with a forehand grip? Chances are you'd be able to play a good shot from this and then they wouldn't do it again! If not then a soft backhand shot straight maybe effective! Hope that helps, all the best 😊
Great Video Jenny and Greg. I came across your channel just a few days ago and found your videos very educational and helpful. Some players in doubles game at my club serve from the side gallery near the service line. Thus creating a flight path where most of the time the shuttle is flying over the wrong (partners side) court and just entering my side near the back gallery. Not knowing, if the service will fall on the wrong side, I usually play it late. This serve is almost never seen in international matches, which means it can be easily countered and is therefore not adopted. However, I am yet to figure out, if I should take it early or stick with my approach. While receiving, slight modification in position is also required to be able to respond to this serve. Can you share your views on how to respond to this serve. Thanks 👍🏻
Please share the tactics if you hear back from them. It is frustrating to return these serves. I did notice some players pause for a split second to change the direction of this forehand serve. Which seems to be the fault. And many of them will take extra time which considers being delaying and should be a fault. We know that at the club level many don't follow the rules.
Great video, thanks a lot! Will try to stand closer to the line- as a left-handed player, I feel particularly vulnerable when in the left service court when a right-hander serves to the back t, behind my back , if the serve is fairly fast and low ( or even quite high), it is hard to get back- any tips on returning this serve?
Love this!!! Thank you so much! However I always get caught when they drive flat quickly to my backhand side when in a starting position like in the video.. any tips for how to handle a drive serve if you can anticipate it?

Keep in mind too, in case of doubles, flicking is more susceptible to going out of bound especially for less than top level players. Keep in mind that leaving the shuttle is an option.

A lot of detail in the video. I'd say there's just the rule that you need to be able to reach the shuttle at the net with the low serve and also to smash the flick. This is doable and you need to believe it. The rest sort of follows.
As a right-handed person, where should I stand at 3:53 ? I find it very difficult to return a fast-and-low flick to my back-hand ( left side ) at 3:53 . What should I do ? I often play against sneaky opponents who flick my back-hand side .
