Giving you an insight into all things BADMINTON!
This was such a fun video to make! Thank you again to Ronald and his family for inviting us to play, and to everyone for being so welcoming! 😊 We’re loving continuing to play against our subscribers in 2024, comment below where we should go next ⬇
I want to know how long that rally was 😯
love your videos! nice and clean court! keep doing this and you will reach 1m!
Thank you for the experience. 🤩
Oudtshoorn South Africa pls
Great work 😍👏
having a court at home is insane
The ultimate flex
And it looks so inviting.. !!
In india everyone has house inside their court 🤔
House goals
@@orrissonpereira1070 I dont think upkeep is that expensive youll just have to clean the court once in a while once you build the hall and the court its easy to upkeep
Unlike most amateur groups in Indonesia who play weekly, these guys seem to have formal badminton training in clubs. Insane that Greg and Jenny could play 10 sets and won 9 of them, most of them in XD vs MD matches. It clearly highlight the level difference between the pros and the amateurs.
Yeah, all Indonesians had pretty high level.
@@jiminkim6725 I'm Polish.
@@jankowalski6691 Just turn your flag upside down, you're now Indonesian.
@@jonwijaya8539 LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
@@jonwijaya8539 hahaha good one 👏
amazing that the badminton community ia that big and that's why badminton is such a great sport
It sure is! 😃🏸
hahaha, no wonder la. but its fun
it's big only in asian countries tho. In the US, badminton as a sport get midly discriminated against in college environment.
@@ronlyon4645 Quite the opposite in the US. College is the only place where badminton is played in many places, but yeah it's not that popular compared to other sports. The closest badminton place is an hour away from me. Otherwise I just play at my college 20 minutes from me.
@@ronlyon4645 yeah here in Germany its the same
That was beautiful to watch your footwork, positioning, and teamwork. Masterclass!
Also, Greg, great to hear you commentating at one of the recent tournaments.
Might have been for Brian Yang match at Indonesian Open you mentioned in this video.
Thank you very much! 😀 Yes I was doing Brian Yang vs Ginting in Indonesia - what a match 😮
@@BadmintonInsight Yes indeed, what an amazing match! Brian is doing great things; such an international sport. Hope to hear you doing more commentating.
@@BadmintonInsight I also enjoyed the commentary on the matches you both did (Greg and Jenny) . Thank you both for promoting and making badminton more popular and accessible to everyone despite your busy schedules on your training and international tournaments in the year of where the olympics take place!
Appreciate you guys for challenging yourselves against amateur players around the world and promoting sportsmanship
There are a lot of unknown player out there that have amazing skills they just choose different path in life not commited to badminton. Amazing.
They're committed! Many badminton players get injured they are so committed. But not everybody can make it to national level. Most wouldn't even make it to regional level. Some players challenging here hide their level, like the last pair were national level apparently!
His House must be massive crazy to have a badminton court would love that 😂❤️
his house is the court
Fikri the last opponents you play with is Former Indonesian National Team. He is actually not considered amateur 😂
Who is that? I thought he is hayom rumbaka.
Wow haha no wonder. They are either very nervous it didn't show or very comfortable because has played at that level before
@@peterwilianto30 Nope, he is Fikri Ikhsandi. Former single player in Indonesia National Team.
boong ni
wow, he is actually pretty much in his prime age. I thought when you mentioned former, means he is a retired player, turns out he is still pretty young (1995, 28-29 years of age). Thinking about it, it's really scary that there are players like Fikri that's outside of the BWF or National level of Badminton. It shows you that to reach the top level of Badminton is no laughing matter.
Very nice!! You guys should be the International ambassador of the badminton ❤❤
That was super fun to watch. Winning 9 games straight shows why you guys are pros. Thanks so much! Love from India.
Glad you enjoyed! 😁
Ronald is living the dream, having his own badminton court at home! That would definitely be a personal goal hahaha. That's some amazing badminton here, I didn't expect it to be this tight, they're definitely skilled, great video overall.
This is the Match i’ve been waiting. I have visit Indonesia, and man, their local players plays really well like on a pro level. And these are normal people from a small town.
Saved this one for a rainy day, and boy was it worth it! That was TENSE! 🤩🤩🤩
I feel simultaneously full of energy and all tuckered out just from watching all those high-level matches haha!
Ah thanks! We’re glad you enjoyed it 😃
Both Greg and Jenny have very good stamina! Playing non stop against 10 different pairs of players!
I love u guys, ur badminton tips have helped me so much that I won a U15 national tournament in Australia. Keep making videos and keep up the good work!
Proved that Indonesia have a lot of talented player 👍
Hi! I work as an umpire based in Sweden and I've just got the green light to start umpiring abroad, I am really excited. Your videos has really been helping me advance in my way of reading the game from the umpire chair so i just want to say thank you. I would love to meet you guys someday and I love your videos!
Happy to see you getting a warm welcome everywhere you go. Fyi, the non-Pro community (called the TARKAM) is huge here in Indonesia and consists of ex national PBSI players. Even the Daddies have played against some of them and their level is (nearly) on par with the Pros. I hope your channel keeps getting bigger and more viewership. All the best to Greg and Jenny !!
Where are the “ amateurs ” ???
Hahaha
The youtubers
These all are amateur
These all are amateur
@PuspenderSingh-tb7pt you're not even a good player.
What a great video! I think it's absolutely amazing that you took time from your personal and professional lives to give this group such an amazing experience. I've been implementing your training into my game recently and not only is it working but it's totally reignited a whole new passion for badminton that I haven't felt in ages. I'm in northern Ontario in Canada and sadly the badminton community has been dwindling for years. We've got a lot of great talent in our city who don't play for various reasons but we do have a small group of die-hards that won't stop playing. If you ever end up in Ontario, I'll do what I can to see you both play. Keep up the great work!
That's amazing to hear - thank you so much 🫶 Yes we'd love to visit Canada again one day!
Finally, the fans who can play proper badminton. That's more like it.
you guys are doing so much to promote badminton on and off court! fantastic team and keep the videos coming. thank you
Most amateurs in the UK have no idea just how high the level of the amateur game is in some countries!
We would be inclined to agree 😂
that's because the requirement to get into national team in countries like MY, IN and CH are crazy, i've seen state players go toe to toe against our national players like it's a casual game. SG here.
Playing new people, not knowing their levels is the funnest part of badminton I think. If you win you feel great about yourself and when you lose you feel grateful to have played them.
I loved your comment at the end about amazing relationship we can have with people we are playing with every week ! It's been 2 years and a half that I've been playing badminton and I met so many amazing people ! I have a lot of joy going in trainee to play with them ! Love from France
That’s what it’s about 😃
What an amazing badminton court! Nice matches!
Is it! Thanks 😀
Fantastic video. Such a pleasure to seeing you having fun with amateur players (even if these guys were definitely way above average!). Keep going!
Yes definitely way above average! Thanks 😃😃
Thanks for coming!
thanks for having them there and for sharing the experience with the community!
You guys are monsters, playing so many matches continuously and having that energy to play final match😊
Very nice of you to engage with your followers and fellow players. It's amazing to see the level of local talent in the SEA countries..
Thanks for watching 🤩
Another awesome video 👏you guys are an inspiration to so many people! I can't help but notice the smashes sounded very nice in this hall ❤ p.s my smash is improving thanks to your weights programmes 😀
Yes the smashes sounded amazing 😃 Thank you so much 😊🏸
You guys still won. Taking into consideration that you've been playing continuously for so long and they were fresh.
One of the best entertaining friendly competition video ever. You guys did well.. i feel the competition is high. No shame losing to the last pair with such a close points. You guys are exhausted and it is hot in there. This is probably like a hard training session. :) keep these videos coming.
Thank you so much - glad you enjoyed the video 🤩
Amazing , been to Indonesia and it’s such a friendly country well done everyone
Wow, the quality of that group and their strength in depth, is super impressive.
9-1, Fab result Greg and Jenny! 👏
A brilliant video! The standard of the players was excellent and made for great watching. Congratulations on your national title and looking forward to more of these player challenges 👍👍👍
Thanks Greg & Jenny for showing a piece of our badminton community here in Indonesia!
Awesome video! Winning 9 straight matches is insane! To think your last game is a nailbiter and you both are running on fumes is even crazier!
Badminton is better because of you guys, Greg and Jenny.
Your content has really improved!
That's so kind! 😊 How do you think it has improved if you don't mind us asking? We'll keep trying to improve over time too!
Video are getting better every year.
You guys are fantastic , Keep up the good work.....
Thanks a lot 😀🏸
Well. Great challenge! Great video. I'm actually from Russia and our professional players often playing with amateurs due to international ban, so I must say that the difference between pro and hobby player is light years... The guys who challenged Greg and Jenny here are not typical amateurs. They probably have been playing all life long from childhood
I love this format..hope more countries to come 😆🎉
Great video, so much fun to watch! Also, huge congratulations to you both on the English National Champs wins. Given the prize money in badminton, it's quite fitting that you were given a soup bowl and a dinner plate! 🤣
Love the vid, hope you guys would visit badminton courts in the Philippines !!
This is a nice addition for you guys, after playing in the tournament then visiting local clubs and have a friendly match with its players.
Great way to meet the fans. Keep it up Greg and Jenny!
This camera angle is insanely good to watch! Such a high level of playing
Yay, glad you enjoyed it! 😁🙏🏼
Thank you for creating this video - to say it was amazingly done is an understatement. The matches you've played were incredible (from the footwork to the perfection of each shot - it's incredible). Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much Jack! ☺️🙏🏼
You two do so much to promote good sportsmanship!
Jenny and Greg,
I did not think that your advantage in both being left-handed against people that had not played against you that much, in having the years of experiences playing and teaching together that you have, in your high levels of fitness, along with your honest and well-deserved confidence (to be able to rely-on), would allow for you to win THAT MANY of these games, and against such extremely skilled players - and all in a row ~ and yet YOU DID!!!
I've never been anyone's groupie for any acting, singing, athletic, or other types of qualities, but I am now considering being yours! ;)
BRAVO racqueteer-god and goddess!!!
Sensei-Marty.
Well done to the amateurs. Amazing performance against the pro. Alhamdulillah
-KL Msia
I love this kind of content from you guys! You guys are pro but are very humble! 🥰 Please continue to inspire badminton players worldwide! Come to the Philippines!
Thank you so much!
You guys had fun making the video and it is such a joy to watch your videos they are so nice and fun to watch! Hope to see you in the German Open as I saw you guys are in it! 😁hope to take a picture with you guys 🙏🏻
Such a great video throughout!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃🏸
Great video! It's like watching how to apply your tutorials in an actual game. Love it! ❤
Haha 😆
the sound is so good in this court man
😍😍
most likely was designed to be that way, i mean look at all the acoustic treatments 😍😍
Because it's just one court so the sound bounces of the walls. I played once in a place with one court and it sounded like we are dropping bombs and we weren't anywhere near this level. The lighting is good in here. I play in places that are not made specifically for badminton and often lights are above the court which is very annoying.
@@jankowalski6691 Yeah, non-specific halls can be hard to play in - light coloured walls make the shuttle invisible, and hard floors are not good for the legs!
More series like this please, it was nice to see you guys play with local players..
Thank you 🫶
Love these videos where you play against the fans! Also love the message you freqently say 'to have fun'! I think even in amateur badminton this can be lost on some people who just want to win, the number one goal should always be to have fun and you always do look like you are, it's great to see, keep it up!
Thank you so much! Yes we try to keep it fun / make it fun as often as we can!! 🤩😁
Lovely to see the English pair and all players having some fun.🎉
Great respect to you Greg and Jenny.. never i would imagine that a pro badminton player which happens to be a content creator, would engage with their viewers until this level..
And not to mention the amount of stamina you guys have to play in humid place with long matches like this truly shows your level as a pro
A new deep found respect to you both 🫡🫡
Wow thank you so much - that really means a lot 🙏🏼😊
Pro Players are a different level, but it's quite interesting to play against them.
It might be an unforgettable good experience for them.
Thank you Greg and Jenny for giving your time. Godspeed!
Your best video, so far!
Wow, thank you!! 😄😄
wow you both have a great stamina .i am tired watching you guys playing for hours but you guys played very well from start to end
Haha thank you! 😆
That's the level they have to be at to be able to compete! Real professionals.
such an awesome pair of people who have love for badminton
Awesome video! It was so impressive that you beat 9/10 pairs and came so close to the last pair😮
Thanks for a great and fun video 😊
They are amateurs lol.. And all of them gave neck to neck competition lol😂
I can tell you that these guys are not weekly just for fun players. Their skill level are highly insane. Looks like proper school/training badminton.
This video is absolutely fun to watch, honestly you guys produce the best videos.
that 5-3 rally was sooo good, great finish too.
you are so great! thanks to your video!!
Funny how the guy who looked the least like a badminton player turned out to be one of the best players from the Indonesia side. This was such a fun video to watch Greg and Jenny. Next time you are in Tokyo, I would love to be your host and bring you around. I can show you the local and international badminton scene in Tokyo too. Take care and keep winning!!!
WELCOME TO INDONESIA ❤🇮🇩
"his own badminton court in his house" called me poor in 69 languages. :)
Crazy, such fun video to watch.
Glad you enjoyed it 😃
Dear Greg & Jenny, thank you for doing events like these where you dignify your fans and show respect to international badminton fans from around the world.
Thanks 🙏🏼
That was awesome. It's wild that someone could have a personal court that is that fancy.
Such a fun video to watch. I think I was smiling the entire time.
The content is so joyful and happy to watch!
Yay, glad you enjoyed it!!
Kudos to Greg and Jenny in taking your own time out of the international circuit and spending time with your fans. The setup looked amazing and the acoustics was awesome.
The semi final pair were really trying to tire you guys out 😂😂😂 also everytime jenny smashes it catches me off-guard by how much power she is able to generates for her frame it's unbelievable... incredible video guys❤❤
My goodness! It was a fun video, but I cannot imagine how exhausting it was to play that many skillful people. We love you guys, so don't push yourselves too hard outside of tournaments 😅
Haha thank you! Yes we were very tired afterwards 😂
Loves all the quality matches ❤ keep it up
The court even has acoustic panels? Brilliant!
love that u guys are making adam bobrow style videos for badminton!
🤩🫶
really good to watch pros coming in an boosting the morale of local talent.
Finished watching 11:32
This is next level rich. Having a personal badminton court in your house is insane
It's our life dream 🤩
I just started learning badminton it's my 4th day of consecutive playing. I Started watching your videos I hope some day I will get better. Maybe I will get a chance to play with you guys. Love your videos and thank you for putting so much hard work for the rest to learn ❤
Seriously fun. You should play with "Neng Mawar".
Great Video! nice to see the Indonesian Badminton community is strong and to have a court in their own home??? That's crazy! We need you guys to come and do this at the All England next month, would love to play against you guys!
The sound of the court is so satisfying 😆
So much fun to watch. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it 😃🏸
That was such an intense and fun video to watch 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it 😃🏸
While others are flexing their pools this guy has his own in house badminton court
Amazing videos!! Can you guys do a video on wrapping a rackets handle with grips and wraps? I've looked at other videos and tried different things but am a little unsure. The amount of detail and research you both put into your videos is fantastic, and it shows how knowledgeable you are. Can't wait for more content!
So cool, lots of talented player are in indonesia. Most played sport is badminton
Literal *"HOME"* Court Advantage
😂 very true!
Awesome video! Would have loved to see more of it like pre match meeting and post match reviews. Seemed like you are busy and cut the video short😂
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video 😁 We actually didn't do any post-match reviews when we were there... We were just playing non-stop for 1.5 hours haha!!
@@BadmintonInsight yeah that's nuts! Haha. No human can be playing their best after that long of playing. You still almost won too which was really amazing! They sure did purposely try to tire you out before the last pair haha.it was like a training day 😂
