I think you're right. The hardware should not affect this so it must be software related. I actually edited out my speculations to keep the video shorter. My guesses for the issues are: A> Something to do with the Polycam free trial account I used on the 15 Pro Max. B> Some setting that I overlooked or changed before starting the scan(I always use the default settings) C> Some software random bug that happened in exporting the model (I made this test 6 months ago and at the same time as Polycam released a feature that "simplifies" models and reducing polygons) Thanks!
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. What kind of updates do you think are needed? They are making small improvements in each version but yes I agree that there is nothing major. If I had the right settings I think the 15 pro max would have done better, especially on large scans.

You should try the 16 pro, they said that they improved the LiDAR.
