- Hello and happy weekend GutSquad! Today is another Get Ready With Me video where I'll be putting on an ostomy bag with you all. I hope that you enjoy and let me know how you like this style of video. As promised, here are all the products I used in for my bag change. The convex bags are especially good for people like me with retracting stomas!

Hi Cecily.....I agree with you 100%......I am going to look into learning how to apply a little bit of makeup to make me feel prettier 😀😀😀
I’m so glad my message was clear and resonated with you...it took me a long time to feel confident and happy in my own skin. I’m still working on it! I’m sure you’re gorgeous without any help. For me, makeup is about exerting control over one’s body in a healthy, uplifting way. I’d encourage you to give it a shot!
Also, how is your stoma doing? I’ve been hoping you’re well and found some good options for repairing your prolapse! 💕
Cecily Living_Beyond the Bag Thank You 😀😀😀😀
Cecily Living_Beyond the Bag ......Thank You for asking😀😀......so far Stanley is behaving, he still tries to come out but I hold both hands over him to keep him in for the time being, I saw my surgeon this past Monday and we are going to wait for 3 months to see how things go to give my abdomen time to heal before attempting another surgery unless I start to have major complications. I’m beginning to finally get a pattern of care in line when caring for Stanley😀😀....I’m praying all goes well and I don’t have to have anymore surgeries😀......Thank You Again for checking on and thinking of me, you are the sweetest.
I’m so glad to hear that Stanley is doing well (btw, AMAZING name for a stoma). It’s always smarter to not cut before you have to, so I’m relieved that your surgeon is being cautious. Just hang in there, I know it’s scary at first. I hope Stanley stays put!
