Well to be fair if you haven't heard or played a song before, learning a solo on rocksmith isn't exactly an ideal way to try and learn it

@@seabass-first-class4547he's getting 90 percent because syns solos are generally the same. The fast parts you can just use economy picking for and blitz through it it's not as hard as you might think. If you play 1 fast part you will play them all generally speaking.

I was left speechless when I first heard this song, it just gives you the sensation that you're drifting through The Cosmos. I was wondering when you were going to play it, because it's gotta be my all time new favourite song of their entire collection. I've watched all of your Avenged Sevenfold playthroughs, and for your first time playing them, you did a damn well amazing job. I love watching musicians play songs from my favourite bands, I'm glad you enjoyed playing Cosmic! :)

Chainbrain really loved cosmic … I believe now he has the whole album on his playlist . Biggest a7x fan I know!
The reason why cosmic is better than the rest of the album (overall) is because it gives the ideas in the song time to develop instead of going from one idea to the next constantly
I think Beautiful Morning and Mattel have the same cons
its the best song on the album but that doesnt make the other songs less good. G O D songs are good ending , mattel , nobody, we lovew you (aside from the first 30 seconds)
Id probably put Cosmic under most except life is but a dream lmao. Mattel Beautiful Morning and especially Nobody are peak

3:43 this effect is broken on youtube. Spotify plays it just fine and it sounds great.
I think its rocksmith bc he thought it was a volume spike bc they could not replicate the reverb pattern to not sound janky with a guitar tab playalong. The entire reverb has been cut out basically bc they cant tab something that is not technically there
@@coltonrobbins1076 Basically it's compression problem, so two possibilites: Rocksmith has the same problem with compression during import as Yt or it was imported from Yt to the game.
This song is simply a Masterpiece.
1:49 yeah the stage was a very spacey album.. I love that album. I'm honestly not surprised after doing The Stage they did all this. A lot of songs were already kind of experimental with synths and orchestras.
Once you let go of your expectations and really listen to the whole album, its a masterpiece from start to finish, but COSMIC is the crescendo imo.

its sub-bass bro. just need a really good headphone to hear it all (and preferably listen to the song in full quality). it really makes the piano transition (from minor to major) hit a lot harder
the volume likely spiked due to some bass-boosting eq (happens on my crappy-speakers as well)
it also depends on where you listen to the song from, on my headphones i hear a spike on the youtube version but on spotify it sounds fine.
but it sounds incredible on a proper speaker system with a subwoofer.
It peaks like that on the official RUclips upload for me while using a regular Corsair gaming headset with no EQ, but not when listening to the album version with those same headphones. Seems the compression that comes with streaming just does not like this song.

I love syns solo on this song, but its not my favorite by Synyster gates. This Song Flows so Well and I love it alot. Probably my Top 5 of the Songs from this Album

The album as a whole to me is really up and down from song to song, and really section to section in each song, but Cosmic is amazing I really think its one of the best songs they've ever done! You did great to! 🔥🔥🔥

Woo you went all in during the solo! Understandably, that's not an easy solo to play without practising it previously. The tapped harmonics are lovely. I'm new . I thought i disliked this album but i love this tune it has Dream Theater vibes but still very original and I like how it ascends into heaven with some of the weirdest synths and then the auto tune hits ! But it's still beautiful 😆 wowza.

Everyone has just been Bandwagon hating on the album, I think it’s cool. I get what he says when he talks about like transitions in the songs like intercept the song or something like that, but some of the songs are bangers. This one included, I just like the album because it’s different and I like it. You can’t just be a one trick pony and play it safe

@@mikays7059 Agreed, A7X actually has done a different sound for each one of they’re albums. Which is pretty cool. Also one of the reasons why I like them in the first place
I like every song in the album, but the inserted distorted loudness is so obnoxious. It could have easily been replaced with distorted yet nice noises at a normal volume (which they've pulled off many times in the album) that doesn't make you want to skip the song.
