Oh, man, I hate that the pass was on you but I just about wanted to stand up and applaud when Romero got around you. That pass was insane. It was also very sporting of him to give the position back at the very end, much respect for him. Much.
What a masterclass of precision there, so well controlled through the outside, just beautiful. Also felt that conflict, Steve deserved the position but the move was too good lol.
that romero guy is an absolute monster, back battling someone else and still gaining time on superGT, ate up that 2 second gap like it was nothing. the pace difference was so large it was like watching 2 different classes racing
This was a great race, and you're right, an absolutely brilliant track. It really should feature more!

I’ve hit a wall at 3:31 lap times I don’t know what it is I’m doing. I don’t understand how people get to 20’s I don’t know if it’s the setup or my line I’m using similar ways through the corner any tips that can apply to any tracks?
Is this your view for racing? I have the cockpit view but I do struggle sometimes getting a good sight on the corners

I've never seen this track before, but oh my goodness gracious it looks like a lot of fun. 10/10 would drive it.

I hate the Circuit de Sainte-Croix. Zero run-off areas, tight streets, bumpy asphalt, killer guardrails, etc. You're done for the second you hit the barriers or get into a bump.

I tried, i really tried but the penalties on this track or too crazy. Get punted into the wall be some moron, 4,5 sec. Just a slight nudge on the inside, 1,5 sec. Polyphony really needs to check this as it is moronic.

Glad I'm not the only one who struggles to listen to Steve's voice for 25mins, not becasue it's boring, he just has one of thsoe voices that luls you to sleep.
Thinking about it, you probably wouldn't want Steve as your co-driver in a rally car. 😂

One of my favourite tracks in the game, I think last time they had it was last year ago Christmas time... They really need to do better with the daily race variety

Is it me, or does Polyphony make better fictional race tracks on Gran Turismo than Turn 10 does on Forza Motorsport? St Croix is a terrific circuit - a sort of Gallic shortened Nordschleife, only without a Rebel Tree.
I appreciate the orange and black livery on the Supra, and I'm pretty sure Alex from FailRace does as well.

I'd agree in general, but Forza has some legendary custom tracks. Fujimi Kaido was well done. Not for races, but for time trials and drifting.
Gran Turismo is by all means a better overall racing game series than Forza
@@DJ_Mooseknucks as a forza player, i agree as well :D. Sad GT is not on PC, dont want to spend so much money on PS5 just to play one game.
@@FelienczI feel the pain. Asetto Corsa is *too* simmy for me and the community can be difficult to break into. I wish I could enjoy GT on PC.
Steve, I've been watching this channel for years and I just want to congratulate you on the last year specifically, seeing you go to the 'Ring and race has been inspiring, and it seems to have had a serious effect on your GT racing as well, up here battling with top players, all while still being very humble and a joy to watch. Keep it up!!

Really enjoyed this - good memories. I feel the TV shots at St Croix particularly around the bridge and water are some of the best in the game. Great video and racing
I must say your driving overall is very consistant, controlled and just really nice and satisfying to watch. I also miss apexes by so far I cannot see it without google maps.
My nephew got a PS5 for christmas so he gave me his PS4 and I bought GT7. I love it so much! Alot more than FM.
Get used to using Motion Steering. It'll make you faster and prepare you for racing on a wheel.

Race A is often unranked, and there is also player made lobbies in the lobby area of the game too for more freeform races :)

What Romero did is just a worldclass attitude. Yes you can makes mistakes and fight for your place but the end of the day you shouldnt be the "4sShol3".

I agree about this track. I'm not great at it, but I love it. Layout B, the shortest one, is actually my favorite. But yeah, this track has such a great flow to it. It's a shame PD ignores is so much.
I love St. Croix C, it’s my favourite track for hot lapping yet they choose the last week of the year when I’m away from the rig for 4 days to have is as DRC😕

I haven't actually tried this race yet. I probably should since I just got a PSVR2 and should probably learn how to race with it.
Also, my hoodie did arrive. I have to say, it looks fantastic and is really comfortable too.

I don't see why the daily races are only 3 a week. Should be 5 or so. Give us more variety, maybe even offer a player vote for one of the following week's tracks.
That was just pure fun to watch. GT7, Super GT, the commentary. Was on the edge of my seat that last lap. Great racing all around.

I've returned to gt7 this week after some months out and, what they did to group 3 cars? I tried the weekly challenge race at spa (the 60 minute one) to find out that all my group 3 cars are runnin more than 10 seconds slower than before, I'm not even getting near the 19th place car, my car is so slow on the straights that it is a complete joke, I remember completing laps on 2:20.0 mark, even sometimes on high 2:10, today my best lap was a 2:31!!! what they did to the cars?
Wait what? You mean to tell me that another racer has a minor tap (that I barely noticed) and then slows down at the end to yield the position in what seems to be a major sportsman like gesture!? Screw You Forza MotorSport!! I knew I picked the wrong game!
Whenever I try to load up on of my liveries, the photo of the livery is blank and then it shows the loading circle but doesn’t load my livery. Does any know why that happens?

I want to say that the last time we had this layout was around the same time last year in gr4 cars. This track is awesome and I haven't had a chance to drive it yet this week.
Why are Brazil such dirty drivers made a clean late brake double pass on a hair pin and on the last turn i get bunped from behind off the racung line and lost the place to rhe guy who hit me and he gets no penalty idk how the came cant tell the speed im going and where im braking is appropriate and if im hit from behind and passed then they guy should always recive a penalty
18 of the corners i can`t get right and usally wreck, apart from that i do ok
Try the Dodge Viper on this track configuration. It's a really nice fit.
