The best open world racing i had ever seen. Back then Forza launched in 2005 and it was nowhere near that level. And now they try to replicate TDU just like the Crew which are some devs who worked on this game.
Just came to this because the new one is about to come out and I wanted to reminisce on this one a bit and I’m blown away by the quality of your review/editing man, one of the best I’ve ever seen, had to rewatch you blowing through that red light at 100 mph with the car rental employee in the passenger seat because it made me laugh too much lol
It's 'Telepathic Drive' by Unicorn Heads, part of RUclips's music library. Most of them are pretty meh, but you can find decent tracks if you keep looking. Also, I loved and grew up with the 360 version. The PS2 looked nice on old CRT TVs, but I'd stick to the 360 version on a modern flatscreen.
Awesome video. I‘ve been replaying the game recently in its PS2 version on my PS3. Shame the PS3 never got its own version, the Xbox360 version definitely looks better (well, except the PC version ofc), but it‘s also one console gen newer, so no surprises there.
I never got into this game when it initially released. I remember playing the demo and really liking it but never got around to buying it. It looks really fun. I'm going to have to find a copy on eBay or something. It's a shame it's not BC.

TDU Platinum pursue the objective to be more than a collection of many different mods in a pack, the objective is to deliver a whole new experience, a whole new way to play with endless possibilities to choose at your own demand, ready to go. The work being done is beyond the gathering of different vehicles, sounds and gauges from different online websites and packing them together, it goes further to new physics, brand new weather, compatible with HDiR, new world textures and also new music for background and radio statios.
I just bought this game from "Ebay" because sadly... i didn't have the chance to buy it in back of day so... I'm worried too much about if there are dlc's that's not available anymore in the xbox 360 store..... u know just like forza motorsport 4 there are no chance no mercy if you didn't buy the dlcs after 2015.
@@the__stranger__10 Sorry about that! Yes the DLC was taken down a few years ago, but it was mostly some concept cars and a promotional pack of Lexus. Trust me, you are not missing out on a bunch of essential cars, like Forza 4.
@@thereviewden mmm.... you said there's are over 124 cars out of the box.. but i think the Mercedes clk gtr is there right? and the updates the nissan skyline r34 was one of the cars from the first patch.
@@the__stranger__10 The base game should be around 95. The upgrade shop can convert a few cars like the Mustang to a few kits, so the number is a bit fuzzy.

Go for the PC version. pretty easy to mod, so now we have about 900 cars, right up to 2019 models

Sorry I missed your comment! Yes, Forza had the advantage of it's brand name, TDU was the real pioneer.

Unfortunately yes, but the DLC wasn't a deal-breaker, half were slow sedans or alternate versions of existing cars.
Can be added with mods on PC version.
Great game except one thing. Invisible traffic. It completely destroys the game. Never got fixed unfortunately

Tdu 2 wasn't good as this one, that's why I'm waiting to try out solar crown to see how it is, but the servers sucks
