    In hindsight, Cutler was the best QB of the first round.
    I can’t believe I just wrote that.

    • @905kar5
      @905kar5 5 лет назад +72

      Gatien Laurol Cutler was pretty decent for a few years. Definitely not a bust or bad by any means

    • @gatienlaurol5793
      @gatienlaurol5793 5 лет назад +39

      Kayman234 Agreed. Had he stayed in Denver, he might have had a more solid career.
      And if he had a 10 year career in Denver, then maybe the Broncos don’t try to sign Peyton Manning 🤷🏽‍♂️.

    • @cruman87
      @cruman87 5 лет назад +9

      Gatien Laurol
      Yeah I was pissed that McDaniels traded Cutler and actually stopped cheering for my Broncos through the McDaniels and Tebow era. Wasn’t until we got Peyton that I came back.

    • @gatienlaurol5793
      @gatienlaurol5793 5 лет назад +25

      slsriflecruman87 Yeah that was a bizarre situation for both parties:
      Cutler was traded to a Bears team that didn’t have a good offensive line or many weapons outside of Matt Forte.
      The Broncos traded a Pro Bowl Qb (Cutler’s only selection) for... Kyle Orton? It made no sense but remember that McDaniels wanted Cassel (who was traded to KC) to run his offense.
      That whole saga was one big 🤷🏽‍♂️.

    • @cruman87
      @cruman87 5 лет назад +12

      Gatien Laurol
      Yeah I remember McDaniels wanted Cassel, but really? He wanted Cassel over Cutler smh.

He’s no BS Artist. He doesn’t claim to be a messiah. He had numerous connections to people around the league, which is why he always had an idea of who teams would take. League personnel trusted him. Jim Johnson I agree with you on everything but with Matt Leinart it wasn’t because he didn’t take it seriously, he was just very injury prone. Seems like every time he started he gotten hurt and lost his confidence when he was with cardinals and Texans. He just played scared after his first injury and never recovered.

    Man, I forgot Matt Leinart came into a situation with Fitzgerald and Boldin. That is a fuck up of epic proportions, to be a 1st round draft pick with all-world talent at WR, where you can just throw it up for grabs every play and have it usually work. Not saying it was Leinart's fault, there are a lot of factors especially coaching and playcalling, but damn it's crazy in retrospect that he was such a bust given the situation.
