- After the recent track day, where the brakes failed on the Lamborghini Gallardo, here's what it cost to fix them. I also demonstrate really badly how to check the oil.
to be honest this is the price of maitanaince in any mercedes/bmw these days.... so i have no idea what is the complaining..... any audi/lambo dealership would charge you 7k + easy for that.....
Not complaining. Just sharing the ownership cost. Obviously I used an independent dealer so it's cheaper than going to an official garage. To be fair, the car has been really good since I got it and it's rare I have to spend any money it.... thankfully 😅
Not too bad…I expected it would cost more. Even a normal car would cost that much for similar repairs.
Yeah, I was expecting it to be much worse 😅
I'll be popping down to Gib soon and will try to drive up to Casares, well, not in a Ferrari haha :)

Lambos & Ferraris are gorgeous, however...with the niggling faults, do you ever think 'maybe I should've bought an R34 Skyline instead' because those appear to be bulletproof?
An R34 is a dream car...but I'd probably have to sell everything in the garage to buy one. They have become very pricey, if you can find one!
I must admit Justin, the Lambo is not one of my favorites. Not sure why I never cared much for them. Here in the USA its very difficult to find people to work on them, and the ones that do charge accordingly. I guess as I get older, spending money on these type of cars isn't fun anymore. They are beautiful cars don't get me wrong, but I just don't see the appeal for "super cars". Hope you had a great time with your kids👍
It's the same here to be honest. It's lucky that we have an ex-Lamborghini trained mechanic nearby. Otherwise I'd have to send it to Madrid for repairs which would cost a fortune 🥴
Wow that is a lot of money. I sure am glad I can do all the maintenance on my 2018 focus ST it’s got a 54,000 miles I’ve done all the maintenance myself except for mounting and balancing new tires.
Its was the parts that were the biggest cost as they are OEM parts. The overall labour cost wasn't much really, can't remember off the top of my head though.

The cost of the master I get and you want it to be quality but cant believe that handbrake lever with vat is almost double.....what a ripper!

Thanks mate. I'm sure it's possible but they recommend to just replace it. At least it's done know and braking confidence is restored 😁
Might cost more to dismantle, resleeve and reassemble- labour ain't cheap

I enjoy doing it...but it is tough to fit it in. I do it for myself, I'm not bothered about views or subscriber count. If people want to watch then great, but if they don't that's fine too 🙂
