I dont understand whst just happened. He gets the book after seeing a person sitting and laughing at it and had no reaction to them vanishing. He brings it home and then it starts doing spooky stuff but the book never really feels important. Perhaps if he started obsessively reading it and reading back phrases in thr book thatd be something but as is it seems like you could replace it with a regular ghost or demon and not much would change.

What if instead there was a person who seemed a bit mad or crazy who walked by and dropped the book to which then the main character picks it up and brings it home. They start reading through it and saying back some phrases from the books pages which triggers the haunting. From there everything else can stay just about the same. Although maybe instead of them slowly walking up on the spooky door maybe establish they can't exit the room cause the main door won't open. This gives them reason as to why they'd approach the glowing door cause they don't have anywhere else to go.

For example, instead of "Short Film," you could try saying "Short Horror Film" or something along those lines. It's a common search term, so it might get you more visibility and boost your videos in the algorithm.
This was really good! Good acting, cinematography, location, special effects and intense! I like the change from 3rd person to 1st pov back to 3rd on that final shot. What i was impressed was that bathroom scene. I tried looking for the cut several times but couldn't see when it was, applauds to you on that editing. I think a little more on the book would have help like the cover before he picked it up. Obviously it was a demonic book, but for me, i wanted to know a little more. I didn't see that he read a little bit to "welcome" the demon. Or was the book just possessed?? Overall i really liked it!

The awkwardly added sound effects on top of everything (scratching on paper, objects put down, footsteps) kinda ruined the realism a lot. The final act is a bit nonsensical, why did he leave, why did he come back?
