Denon keeps reinforcing my decision to switch to Denon. I have been loving my SC5000 decks and x1800 mixer...and the updates just keep making them better👍
I've been wanting the SC5000s ever since they came out! Was thinking about purchasing them this weekend since some are back in stock, which I was stoked about! I know the SC6000s are their newest ones, but I was wondering if I should still go for my dream setup with the SC5000s even though I fear they might not have any more support for it soon hardware-wise
@@PRiMESTyLE_BEATS I love mine, Im thinking about adding a third! IIRC they have the same internals as the SC6000's so I dont think they'll be obsolete anytime soon. Seriously...you can get them on the used market for around 600 bucks, Thats what I did...and have no complaints at all!

@@PRiMESTyLE_BEATSI play on just one sc5000m unit. It's been 6 years and I've had no issues. However on my x1850 mixer 2 linefaders are already broken after just 11 months of use.
Been part of the beta testing on this and the back and forth from the denon team has been nothing short of incredible, they really have worked so hard on this!
industry standard is crap, Denon will be the new industry standard in a few years, as everyone I know is swapping over to the Denon. Pioneer have not brought out any innovative gear in years!! Even the new CDJ300o is a joke compared to Denon gear
The Denon Prime Go is still a solid little controller. This update makes it feel new again. The library search with waveforms helps find the next track when love mixing. Way to go Denon!
I am ALLLL About Engine DJ , coming from a new user of a Numark Mixstream Pro Go. I made the transition from Pioneer gear from this and could not be more happy!
I love having the performance library on the same screen. I also feel like my streaming apps are loading much faster. Another great improvement Denon. Def reinforced my decision to switch to Denon! Well done!
It's great that Denon keep these updates fairly often, this makes the hardware feeling new and fresh over time. An improved grid analizer and being able to rate a song within the hardware its something that i would like to see in a future update, and of course, stems. I've been using the sc live 4 for a year now and i couldn't be happier!
A solid update for sure! Was a bit deflated to discover that there is still no beat jump facility for my Mixstream Pro Go. That's all I want!!! Just a rudimentary parameters option in settings would be fine so I can use the pitch bend buttons to action. Ah, a man can dream! Oh and RBG waveforms would also be nice. :)

I love that we can now see the effect parameters on the main screen! The tiny LCD screens under the knobs are unobtrusive but it's more comfortable seeing them on the big bright main panel.
I’ve seen 4 channel controller users saying it’s handy for when you’ve had a track in deck 3 or 4 so it’s not just sat there redundant on the deck until you use it again
Hi. Do you have a starter video for someone who has never used software like this before. My music collection is on a hard drive split into folders 70's 80's 90's etc which I used to use with Numarks DDS player....... and I dont understand how to get that music into this program within its genre folders to play on at Denon Prime DJ go which I have ordered. Can you help or point me to an idiots guide video please?
We do not have a video guide to Engine. Engine does not use folders, it uses playlists. Some users create playlists in Engine DJ that mirror their folder structure on external drives.
Is there a Tidal/Beatport BPM/KEY sort feature in the new update or do you still have to struggle like before? It would be great if you could analyze all songs in one of your playlists 🙂
Anyone else notice anything wacky going on with thier tracks? A couple of mine are playing a small section of the track despite showing the true track length. Might need to reanalyze or something.
I want a “one knob” mode, where it takes all of these new features, bypasses them, and the decks run at their fastest and highest CPU performance , allowing access to minimal features. Like black and white mode on a cell phone to reserve power.

Where can we find the sampler? How can we access it on a SC6000? --- Cracked the case - My sampler wasn't loaded yet - It was empty - just had to pick a couple of fine samples. Now it works fine.

I just found a feature you missed - I think :) You couldn't hear mixer FX in your headphones in 3.x. They're now back so you can hear your filter/echo/noise/wash in the headphones! YAY!
Still I can't create playlist from a folder without a computer. That's hard to program it in? Also ability to change track names and arrange the tracks based on energy levels from 'Mixed in Key' software?
I know, but I've asked them to program it in....if it's meant to be the real STAND alone aka 'no computer needed'. Perhaps if more of customers request it, they may consider putting it into the next firmware update... Worth a try imho.
Awesome update. But please add in the Stems feature, please hook up with Virtual DJ to use their program. Also, please fix echo in FX. The only way to shut it off is the change the FX type, which just sounds like a horrible cut off instead if fading out.
The one update I'm waiting for since getting my Prime Go in 2020 (and returning my SC Live 4 in 2022) is the silly glitch on Denon controllers where the BPM gets stuck on unsyncing until you wiggle out the fader back to where the original BPM is supposed to be placed. Major buzzkill.
Not a glitch, it is called soft takeover, is on all controllers that use sync, and is there to stop a big BPM leap as soon as you touch a fader that sync has "virtually" moved to another place. So... will never be "fixed".
Not a Denon guy but this blows Rekordbox out the water.
I love how engine stay on top of the updates and making Dj'ng in2oftive and fun....HATS OFF TO DENON and the developers who make this happen

Still no Traktor neither RGB waveforms, but congrats to Engine OS team that keeps bringing valuable updates to Denon and Numark machines.
That's been a feature request on the community for at least 2 years :D I'd also love to see it.

on the Prime 4 it was never supposed to be on the main screen, it was a glitch why you saw it for a moment, check the enginedj forum.

The key sync option being on the screen is huge for Numark users. There wasn't a way to key sync on the mixstream prior to this update.

Still waiting on them allowing two cues through the headphone. It auto disable the other track in the headphone when you select the next channel.

You can turn the pads on and off in the settings, see if you can change it there

It was only ever in a beta version and we don’t think it will see the light of day frankly

Sorry, we didn't have time to do one. You get a couple of views to cycle through with the opposite waveform, but apart from that it is as demoed here.

I got the same issue mate, had it with 3.4 as well on my pro go, only option was to downgrade back to 3.2

Since the update my sclive4 stopped reading the sd card. Only reads usb

How do I move my music library from engine 1.4 to 4.0 easily. With all my data infor ie loops and cue points etc...?
There are instructions on the Engine DJ website. You need to upgrade to 3.x first.
2.0 was a big update with a change to library management, so I would go from 1.4 to 2.0, then 3.0, then 4.0

@@digitaldjtips Haven't had this issue with Flx10 or any of the Traktor controllers. This was what put me off Denon tbh.
