This episode was crazy in my opinion one of the best of the year. Music was perfect, animation went off, and even chair-sama made an appearance
Next episode is also peek.
The ending though 🥲
One of the best of all time
I like how Yamamoto is so strong that both main antagonists of the series had to cheese him to beat him
That's not cool though. That's bad writing. Deus ex machina dominates this show and it's one of the most egregious story telling mechanisms. Hard to get invested in literally anything because it's bound to change in an instant for some off the wall bullshit reason.
@@oberzen208well get ready that basically sums up the last arc. Thought Kubo would clean this up bc he’s not being rushed but naw 😂😂😂
@SCodyT literally has been adding things into the anime. If you two hadn't read the Manga, just say so. Don't try to blame something that you don't understand. Or just don't watch.
@@TheTatdAkuma the orginal commentot is saying Kubo using Deus Machina is bad writing which it is and I’m saying that is basically the last arc one macguffin after another which would imply I’ve read which I have read the manga. You obviously misunderstood my original comment.
Yamamoto's Bankai is seriously broken
Burning everything to ash
the 2 or 1 most broken
Just to get stolen😒
not even ash, it just erases
@@Comment66 Yeah. Plot cheat killed Yama.
If it was not stolen, he finna clap Yhwach
Not Ash. Nothingness. It erases you from existence.
Literally left speechless with this episode. 12/10 and a gorgeous episode. That bankai is just...incredible! I watched about 5 times the way the flames just disappeared. 1000+ years of flames in that sword. Just epic on every level.
Basically yamamoto's bankai makes him the devil
one small correction regarding yhwachs sword, it wasnt that yama broke it and then entered West, west was already active at that point and the sword just got vaporized when it came into contact with it. its only then that yama chooses to make west visible to provide an explanation
yep
The moment Royd Loyd showed emotion to the dead Quincies, can be considered as a hint. Plus Yama saying "u still have some humanity left" (iirc) is also a hint.
It was pretty cool watching Yamamoto going ape shit
Correction, yamamoto isnt a special war threat, for now its only ichigo, zaraki and aizen, there are two more
Rukia and Hisagi is the last two 🙃
no it’s kisuke and ichibe
Yeah the last two are Kon and chair sama
@@cerromeceo definitely Hisagi 😆 Yhwach knew the power Hisagi would gain
@@corruptangel6793 😅🤣😂
I would have thought his wisdom and intuition would have been able to tell he was fighting a fake.
This battle was truly the best but one thing I never understood is how Kenpachi was able to beat Lloyd with little difficulty who can copy appearance and power and then get bodied by Royd who copies appearance and memories. Was Royd just that much more stronger than his twin naturally?
Bcz Zaraki's power increased during the battle. So he became stronger that the state he was initially cloned at
@@medilies That does not explain anything TBH.
@@tellder1
- beginning of the fight: zarakis is at 10% of his power.
- The sternreiter clones kenpachi at equal power
- during the fight kenpachi gets stronger (unlocks more power 15%)
- then he can defeat the clone
Spoiler alert:
Kenpachi has a power limiter which he gradually removes by fighting stronger oponents
Easy way to explain it would be to use the 13 Blades by Kubo himself that says Kenpachi fought the real Yhwach
@@medilies that really doesn't explain anything. How is Royd able to body Kenpachi when Royd's power is copying appearance and memories. His power isnt copying powers thats Lloyds. Unless Kenpachi fought the real Yhwach which is stated in 13 Blades
Because Royd copied all of Yuwach's memories that includes his accumulated skills and muscle memory as well. So yes, technically he should have been as skilled a fighter as Yawachs was when he copied him prior to the invasion.
This episode was so perfect that I have watched it 3 times now
this episode was just speechless
Perfect adaptation imo and u break his bankai down perfectly for the non manga readers
the fight was perfect but the manga provides more context for example for south we know he can summon 1 trillion undead and yamamoto notices something off about "ywach"
"we see just the tip touching"
Me: giggity
Can't wait till they animate the monk! I like how Z said strongest shinigami or that we know of
This episode was legit. Going down in anime history.
10/10 Bleach is goated this year holy crap!
Zho, I totally agree with your critique of the brother sequence. It felt kinda cheap that Yamamoto would just fall for such a ploy.. Fighting and Aizen were great in this episode tho!
I think it ties nicely with Yamamoto's nature. Hes a bit arrogant and cocky. If you recall he didn't want Orihime to bring back his arm, he says no one has been stronger than him for a thousand years, that his bankai cant be stolen, etc... He is stupidly powerful but he was humbled in a nice fashion.
@@fork6057 Facts, not only that this is the first time we've truly seen yamamato nearly consumed with rage for his loss.
Goated episode
"We just see his tip touching surfaces" 💀
Kenpachi was revealed in the episode 5 ending, the other two besides ichigo and aizen will be revealed at a later date. But to everyone wondering they are Pesche Guatiche and Dondochaka Birstanne, that's why Hueco Mundo was invaded first. Trust me.
Yhwach seems to be really afraid of yamaji...
The entire point of the first two invasions was to emotionally, mentally and physically break yama.... In the first invasion, over a 100 members of squad 1 were killed, including sasakibe, which deeply affects yamaji, makes him full of guilt and regret, breaking him mentally and emotionally... We see the result of it in the second invasion when yama rushes to the front line due to his clouded judgement, and moment he sees yhwach, he makes a swing with shikai, and then straight up goes to bankai...and uses every single ability, to kill yhwach as brutally as possible, and make him feel the pain that yama felt sasakibe died by suing South... Yamaji had constantly try to suppress his power in bankai as it was about to destroy soul society.... When yamaji turns off his bankai, it was pretty obvious that he was tired, basically now along with being emotionally and mentally, now yamaji is broken physically as well... At last, yhwach blows up 1st company barracks and appears in front of yama, putting yama in state of shock and then he steals his bankai. yhwach had to plan for centuries to beat yama.
What an absolute beast.
Ive waited so long for this, im 29 and probably read this on release when i was 18
You're 29 and watch anime? Get a life bro
Been waiting over a decade to see this arc animated am my god am I pleased this far it's been amazing and the animation top fucking tier!!!
Its poetic justice 🔥🔥
That violin that plays when Yamamoto nuked those three Quincy. Perfection.
Huh......didn't know you cover Bleach TYBW episodes good to know.
9:58 correction Yamamoto isn’t apart of the 5 special war powers , but it should be revealed in the next couple of episodes for those who haven’t read the manga
like he said "just the tip" lol
I think they planned to distract us with the crazy action in this chapter from how little it makes sense that kempatchi got off screened by a weak character
I would've love to see a quick skirmish between Kenpachi and Ywbach. Kubo already lying to us 😒
Watching Yamato fight feels unreal it’s kinda like watching shanks fight
I seen this years ago so is Zhonin just reviewing it now or is it being redone? I never quite found out what was going on with Bleach so not sure why this is being gone over now of all times?
The stenriter Y power is similar to his brother and not at the same time . His brother which was killed by zaraki has the power to mimic it's opponent ( limitations are its understanding it's opponents and spiritual pressure ). Y on the other hand is like remotely controlled by yuwach and having similar ability depending on the person who is remotely controlling him + the amount of spiritual pressure adding in it too . That's the only thing I know about the abilities.
Epic fight and animation. As a manga reader, I wished that skeleton part was done in more menacing and terrifying way but its still very well done and also that the anime at least explained how Yhwach survived his first encounter with Yamamoto and his bankai thousand years ago. Did he escaped, saved by someone or old man Yama just showed him mercy by not killing him? That info wasnt explained in the manga. Overall, episode was lit FIRE!!! Yama is the beast!
Yeah that was my biggest issue to
I think sternritters wouldn't have schrift back then
Or he didn't used almighty or his powers weren't matured or maybe he lost to purpose
YAMAMOTO was insane his blade when I touched the ground the edge spreads
This arc is the escort vegapunk to dragon arc, I knew it!
The reason the twin clone seemed so strong is because ywach is like the AFO of quincies. he can delegate power as he sees fit to quincies.
Yamomoto!!!!!! 💪🏾🔥
It’s crazy how Yamamoto had all this hype with his power up only to get one shotted lmao, that’s crazy😂
I was alyways wondering how does Aizen stands and also Ichigo across the series to yamamoto's bankai in terms of power
Wait negative Celsius is hot...? I thought 0°c was freezing and anything lower is below freezing.
❤️
We deserve to see the bankai atleast once more, feels like a crime that we only saw it once
No one mentions Jugram, Jugram is a "giver" of abilities just like Yhwach. Just being near Jugram is enough to boost a Quincy's powers which is why Royd could probably hold his own against Yamamoto for so long.
The next episode the twins are explained
Things are getting little to spicy for the pepper 🌶️
It sucks that it isn't mentioned but Royd royd?? is buffed by the white haired dude
Does anyone know why there are no previews at the end of each Bleach episode for the following episode?
Probably because they're more in the moment and he does the poems in the end. Plus I'm sure he wants each episode impacful so he wants you to wonder what can happen next instead of a teaser
I didn’t even catch that he was the brother of the other Y. It didn’t make sense lol
Just a heads up, Yamamoto wasn't considered one of the Special Threats.
RIP Chair-sama Aizen, you shall be missed. All hail EVA-Aizen-sama!
What's bothering me about this (and we saw this in the manga but not as clearly as here) is that as soon as Yama saw Yhwach's sword, he gave up. What was that sword? Did he know that there was no escaping it? It's curious.......
Tires in my eyes!
10:40 made me laugh
Kenoachi is revealed and fake bach was disappointed. So yeah that happens
This was confusing but I'm assuming Roy is one of the strongest Stern Ritter's to beat Kepachi and last as long as he did against the Captain.
No
Loyd copied kenpachi
And royd copied yhwach
Thats why kenpachi defeated loyd but couldnt defeat royd
It was simple as that ..
The stronger one he mimick stronger he himself gets ..
And only kenpachi was able to defeat loyd because his impression of kenpachi strength was low ..
And royd have seen how powerful is yhwach t
Looking forward to bazz bs fight
Yamamoto ending is the saddest :( I would definitely say between Yamamoto and Ichibe Hysosube because we didn’t get to see the extent of what his bankai could do though we know it’s really powerful and when Ichibe fought against ywach later on bis skills and I don’t even know if you would call the moves he did Kido because they were on a different level and they even stopped and frightened Ywach for a brief and I do mean brief second but were on another level he’s the only shinigami that I think matches or surpasses Yamamoto in terms of knowledge power and strength
yamamoto is RIDICULOUSLY broken , but got fooled by a mere trick ..
RIP Yamamoto.
Only makes sense cuz yhwach seemed scared the whole fight even knowing hed have to fight yamamoto, and hr never actually attacks just defense
Why where there need to be a setup?
correction, yamamoto isnt special threats to ywach
Let's not forget, without Quincy ability to use blut, he would have started disintegrating or dying from standing to close to him...
Put this bankai is most series, and it literally wins every fight
Yhbh actually said that Yamamoto wasn’t on his top 5 list of concern…
Idc what any bleach haters say, this episode was amazing 🖤
I personally felt like Yama was a tad reckless in that episode. I mean, understandable, given how things played out, but he should've at least held back a little.
TAICHOU!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Escanor vs. Yamamoto
About the stealing bankai, from what I know, there's 3 conditions.
1. Is that, the bankai has to be fully mastered or "That's it, no more extra potential for the user to unlock and find"
2. Is that the stealer has to know how it works or at least see it.
3. Is that your powerful enough to steal it, like your close to the level of the former user or the bankai of the user (u dont need to be stronger).
This is why they couldn't steal Ichigo and Yama.
Ichigo is the MC, so there's always more potential to find.
Yama is too strong for normal quincy to steal his bankai, so quincy king gotta personally do it. Also, Ywach most likely watched the battle of Yama flexing his bankai and so on.
All captains are at least 100+ years old, they already fully unlocked their bankai. Them getting stronger is more on just their base form becoming stronger.
Ichigo’s can’t be stolen because of his hollow powers being poisonous to quincies
No ichigo bankai cant be stolen.
First its not his real bankai and his bankai also had hollow powers in it which is poisonous to quincies
Quincy can share power 💯 the double most likely took power from the almighty bauch💯🤷🏽♂️
yamamoto got kill blocked by sternriter y.
I think the reason yhwach takes the bankai isn’t because you can’t seal it if you’re too weak but you can’t use it if you’re too not strong enough so it’d just be wasted potential for someone else to steal it
Yeah its just kinda hard for kubo to fill up plotholes i guess he prefers it to stay loyal more or less
What plot hole ??
Does aizen break out?
Explain season 2
2:32-2:36 pause
The easiest way to know that that was not really Yhwach is simple the guy who was with him did not try to intervene or protect Yhwach at all
Bleach itself is Aizens Bankai
Ngl genryusai feels like the true protagonist of bleach smh..
Yamamoto is top 5 in bleach😭💀
Yamamoto is not a Special War Power, Ywach considered him but w/o his arm being restored he is weaker. The confirmed Special Powers are Ichigo, Aizen, and Zaraki so far. Anyone who thinks about it should be able to guess the fourth. Aizen said there is only one other he considers on his level of intellegence and ability. The fifth was of course reveiled in the manga. No spoilers.
Animation was top notch. Music was good but some pieces keep replaying through every episode. The twin brother thing didn't make any sense, I'd rather have ONE guy that can copy appearance, mind, memories & skills. How in the world would the brother who copies only memories and appearance defeat Kenpachi and the other brother who copies appearance and skills was defeated? It's also lame Yama had to die so early in the story, a master strategist would never fall in the (known) trap of the enemy - that is letting his Bankai get stolen.
"negative 15 million degrees Celsius, which is equal to 27 million Fahrenheit"
Ah yes, I see the American school system taught you well 💀💀💀
Yhwach basically said he could kill aizen but it would take too long. And this was said by a yhwach who's at his weakest.
The Captains never had a chance because of that stealing Bankai plot device the Quincy had! 🤷🏿♂️
So ... no chair sama?
Quick correction on the special threats. Full spoilers for the manga.
The threats are Aizen, Ichibe, Kenpachi, Urahara, and Ichigo. Yamamoto was never considered a special threat
He was but got removed
Didn’t kenpachi kill stern Ritter y? how was he still alive to turn into yhwach
That yhwach twist was crazy tho, this means kenpachi got beat by a fake yhwach. 😔😔😔
He mimick the abilities and power of yhwach ...
The stronger one u mimick the stronger you get
Tbh the lack of setup is not too much of a problem for me I think the point is it we as the viewer/ (I say viewer not reader bc if I’m not mistaken some things were rushed bc of Kubos. Deteriorating health) is experiencing this invasion in a similar way as the shinigami so like them this is unexpected and unexplainable….yamma isn’t supposed to die but he does. On some bs bc that’s the only way to beat him. Aizen proved this
Yeah that wasn't even Yhwach
One of the most frustrating episodes in anime in general for sure. Everyone just gets fucked up. (anime only)
I'm confused, elaborate?
@@NorthAyase We just got to see his bankai only to get stolen right of the bat so the villain has more drip than he already has☠ Plus hes probably dead on top of that. Kinda dissapointing.
@@Comment66 I see. I personally have no issue with that. I'm not a fan of wars where no meaningful strong characters die.
@@NorthAyase Doesnt mean they have to be treated like the little easy to get tricked bitch of the antagonist. At least kill them with respect.
@@Comment66 RUclips might hide your last reply, be warry of certain words.
Why wouldn't he be tricked by this?
Respect doesn't really work with the intentions of this portion of the arc.
Hax vs op
Yama wasn't considered a special threat Z. Its ichigo, ichibe, Kenny, aizen and urahara. Yama wasn't considered one because of how stubborn he was to get is arm back.
This is a spoiler!
@@medilies it gives you nothing. youll hear the same exact thing i said next week. youll be fine
@@jayciel8498 Your logic doesn't make any sense.
@@NorthAyase it doesn't matter, it's not that serious. Cope harder kid
@@jayciel8498 You're the one that sounds like you're coping right now. Also, my account is often older than the children who say "kid".
The fight kind disappointed me since I wish he was actually fighting Yhwach.
kubo hates yama
