Personally, I wouldn’t. I love the sound, I took a ride in a Hellcat and I love the sound. Simple acceleration like merging or getting up to speed on a large road sounded awesome.
I put a metallic intake on my tuned supercharged Audi S5 and the asinine loud whine never got old!! Enjoyed it for 3 years :D

For all of you saying "he pulls unfiltered air from the cabin", no he doesn't. the "plug" that goes through the firewall has a clear diaphragm on it so the end is sealed. Could imagine that the diagpragm also helps making the sound louder.
This is how it works, it's a sealed system that allows rotor pulses through the diaphragm caps clear membrane, but no unfiltered or unmetered air enters the inlet.
I would think it gets annoying after awhile.
So it's sucking in unflitered air from near your feet where you track in all the sand/gravel in the winter? Okay...
That was what I was wondering does it have some sort of filter , If not that tube will act like a vacuum and suck in all the tracked in sand and dirt
The only filtration it has is from the cone filter but I’d be happy with it.
@@lewishill64 The tube they installed in the intake bypasses the filter. The engine is now breathing unfiltered air from the floorboard of the cabin.
No I think it is sealed by a clear plastic. But the sound is what is coming to the cabin.
The system uses a diaphragm cap that seals the sound tube so no unmetered or filtered air enters the induction path.
You have a check engine light on your truck.

By the way. The Tube's end in the cabin is sealed by a marine grade something so it will not suck air to the intake. It is just letting the sound pass through

It sounds very cool now. Brian is a lucky guy most autoshops won't let you go in when the shop is closed and work other people cars. The shop i worked at we barely work on our own car without it being a hassel much less friends cars.

Matt Bertram this system is sealed with a diaphragm cap. No air entered the intake from the whine mod.

You would need a big bottle of Aleve to take a road trip in this truck. Also isn’t that mod pulling unfiltered cabin air into the engine. Also surprised the transmission hasn’t broken considering the power the engine is putting out is beyond the specifications for the 6R80.

the whine probably sounds a lot cooler in person, i have a supercharged pontiac with a cold air intake and you can hear the whine pretty good and it sounds amazing in person but it sounds annoying on videos.
